Horrible experience with this company. Their website says they test the used parts before they ship (not true) and I got the first part with brake fluid leaking out of the box it was shipped in, it was greasy, had brake fluid and dirt all over it and it literally was cut out of another Jeep with no care in how the part looked with cut wires and brake lines and I have pictures to prove all of this and this part and was never tested or cleaned up prior to shipping. I contacted them immediately and they said not all parts look great. I needed the part so I took a chance and had it installed in my jeep and paid a repair shop to install and they said the part was bad and could not have been tested. I called car parts source and they said they would ship another part out and when I got the replacement part it looked just as bad as the previous part and wasn't even a part that would fit my jeep. I spoke with Natalie Wlodarski at car parts source about this and she said she would call me the next day to resolve and never did. I boxed the part up that same day, sent it back to them and they had the nerve to say the part came to them damaged. I called Natalie Wlodarski about this and she said do you think we damaged the part on purpose and I said I don't know but you should contact the shipper to file a claim and that I wanted my $797 back after all this and they tried to keep my money and so I contacted PayPal and my bank and I documented all my emails, phone calls, and people I spoke to at car part source and finally got my money returned to me by my wonderful bank. This company has a history of this type of shady business from the reviews we now read. I don't do business like this and you should not either. DO NOT USE THEM! Pics are what I received from them. I would rate them a 0 if o could.

I purchased a part from Car Part Source in November and the used part was defective and caused electrical issues throughout the vehicle making it completely inoperable in January. 3 autoshops and 6 weeks later my truck was functioning again and the source of the electrical issues was found to be from the used part sourced through Car Part Source. I called the customer service line and explained my situation but due to the fact that I personally did not notify Car Part Source within 10 days of the part becoming defective, they would not refund my purchase. I repeated explained that my truck was in the shop for over 6 weeks and it was not brought to my attention until well after the 10 day window expired. I asked to speak to the manager and was promptly hung up on. I called back and asked again to speak the manager and left my contact information for a return call. Car Part Source never returned my phone call.

Long story short, their return policy looks nice on paper but practically they do not honor it. I would not buy anything from this company again due to their poor communication and inability to understand circumstances outside of the customer's control.

This company operates as a non-stock parts intermediary with minimal inventory, essentially acting as a middleman. You can easily do the same job yourself using just a smartphone and the internet. I canceled my order merely two minutes after confirming it, yet I was still charged a hefty 20% restocking fee for a part that hadn't even been shipped or in stock. The person I communicated with couldn't provide information about the supplier or the origin state, which seemed dishonest right from the start. I suggest considering other options instead.

The part I ordered from them is discontinued and incredibly rare and near impossible to find. I was very skeptical as I dealt with a different company that offers the same service and it was a scam. I called ahead to see if the number works and asked if the shipping estimate of 2-7 days is reliable. They said it was but it ended up actually taking 9 days. But they were extremely communicative throughout the whole process. They called me with updates a couple of times throughout the process. Once the part shipped it arrived within 2 days so it was fast. It was packaged very securely and was exactly as described. I'm not sure if they actually do run and test the parts because that would take hours and a running car exactly like the one the part was taken out of. But the part does work in my car so that's all that matters. I would trust them and recommend and buy from them again. I only removed a star because I had specifically called and asked about the shipping time estimate and it was off. Other than that, if you can wait a couple extra days, go for it.

I ordered a part from this company to find out the part was not appropriate to send due to a fault. They then got the same part from another supplier. With that being done that was the only good thing they did of letting me know of the situation. Now tracking my shipment I was expecting it to be delivered yesterday and it was delayed. Out of concern I contacted UPS today then to realised no package was delivered and now it seems like the delivery address was incorrect from start. I did not request change of address but now tracking my shipment it shows such. That is why both reps I spoke to from UPS keep asking what is my address. My conclusion is carpartsource did not verify with the company they got the backup part from or they did not let them know what address to send it to. With all this inconvenience they are not even planning to give me compensation. First and last time, I'm dealing with that company.

It's 2022! I ordered a part and provided the exact part # that I got from the dealership. They sent me a part for another year and charged me 20% to return it. I told them they messed up the order (even sent screen shots of the part # I requested) and I wanted a full refund. I'll also add, the part they sent me was ragged, another reason I didn't even want a replacement. All they do is go to junk yards, send you the part without even cleaning it up. They don't test it like they say! Earl who is the owner, he is also the customer service rep and everything else for the business, said he would refund me fully and make it right. He sent me a return label for the shipping but still charged me 20% for returning the part (which he said he would not charge me for). He makes it appear as if its a big business but it's just him. He does it all. They send you the wrong part and charge you 20% to return it. That's their scheme. They say they will refund if they mess up and that is not the case. They have a template email ready to send you saying they are not at fault regardless if it is their fault. If you buy from them and don't read reviews first. It's your fault! I wish I had done my homework!

I ended up going to the junk yard myself and getting the same part for $30.

I ordered an ABS for my 2008 BMW, fast delivery, good part! Very good price and customer service making sure I ordered write part for my car.

I bought a ABS Brake Actuator for my 2013 Toyota Prius this past month in Feb 2022, I had Mechanic Install it, After install it, My Mechanic say theres was Brake Fluid leaking from the ABS Brake Actuator that I bought from them, I called them to let them know, I ship it back to them. A week later, they email me saying that there was another part Missing that I didnt sent back! They try to delay the time so My Refund would be Void after 30 days. Crooked People! Out of $400, Do not buy these USED OEM Parts, They sources these parts from the Local Junk Yards! Do yourself a Favor, Dont waste your Time and Money with these Crooked People! Better to buy New Ones, So you wont have any Headaches Problems like Me!

If you need a part quickly do not trust these guys to get it done... I ordered a t-case for my V8 4runner and long story short they strung me along for over 3 weeks telling on 3 separate occasions the part was either ready to ship or will be tomorrow. Every time i called back it was a different story of why the part wasnt ready. My best guess is they took the payment claiming to have a part in stock which they didn't and instead of being decent human beings and just saying that, they continued to lie to me so they could keep my $1800 for 3 weeks until they could find the part. Company seems to be overall fairly unorganized, wouldn't be surprised if things often slip through the cracks.

I purchased transfer case for my 98 Jeep Wrangler two years ago when they were offering a 5 year warranty my transfer case gear is grinded and the gear is slipping on the chain I sent her pictures of my Jeep and the problem my jeep was not even dirty just normal dirt from not being washed in a couple weeks she messaged me back and says that my warranty is revoked because my Jeep had been mudding she's a liar and a crook and she will be sued in court
