My order for 1 package of Trinidad pimento peppers was only 3.95 but the shipping charged 17.20. Seemed ridiculous for a small package of seeds, but to be sent to Spain so I paid it. That was April 30. May 5 I got a shipping order and tracking number but when I tried to track on ups the message was 'status not available. Number may be wrong or status update unavailable. Please check your number'. Now June 29 and still no seeds. Lost the summer growing season for peppers. Have sent emails asking about my order but haven't heard back. Do not order from this company. I think they are scammers.
These guys are a bunch if crooks. They just take your money and then don't send the product. They create a phony shipping order that doesn't even come with a tracking number. They seriously should be looked into for fraud. I should've read the reviews before ordering because it has happened to countless other people. This company should be under criminal prosecution for fraud. Its ridiculous. Don't put money in these people's pocket. Go somewhere credible.
I ordered two different types of bulbs in late July. The site said that they were "now shipping." They took my money and I never heard anything more. I made an effort to contact them for information and ---- nothing. Now that I see their ratings here, I realize that Caribbean Garden Seed is either a very poorly run business or a big scam. Don't waste your money.
They sent me the wrong product and I didn't find that out until a blossom opened a month later. I emailed them twice, hoping to get the correct replacement, with no response from them. Finally tried calling but no one answers the phone. Very frustrating! Wish I had checked their reviews BEFORE I purchased my plant!
Purchased $49.00 worth of seeds and starter plants last 7/26/21. Received the seeds, they were mostly bad and got maybe 10% germination rate! I was told the plants were on back order. It is now Nov 2021 still no plants. After 4 emails, still no response. Found a tel no. But ring and ring and ring no answer. I've been scammed $20.00! Do not buy from this company.
I ordered some live plants in November of 2022 and to date have not received them. Shipping label says backordered, but no updates. My ordered is marked as fulfilled. I have sent several messages with no response. I have even messaged the owner directly on instagram and still no response. Would give zero stars if possible. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
I suppose your company does not care about customer retention. I ordered bulbs last spring and you backorder a bunch saying they world shipped this spring. Many emails later and I have not received anything. I have ordered probably $600 in plants and bulbs but none from you because of your service and not fulfilling your promises. I have a healthy green thumb. Dwarf zinnia and dwarf marigold seeds purchased from this company failed to germinate - not one. Zinnia and marigold seeds collected two years ago from my own stock were planted at the same time and are thriving. I should have stuck with the supplier I usually buy from and should have read reviews of this supplier prior to ordering. No response to email.
Ordered 4 seed pks for total of $10, had to pay $11 shipping. 3 wks later USPS says a label was generated but they have not received pkg. They don't answer phone. They don't respond to "chat". Going to dispute my order. They actually had the nerve to ask for a tip with the order and all the bad service reviews they get. Corrupt!
Ordered Sunday 3/13. Paid expedited shipping. Promised would ship in 2 buisness days. Invoice printed shows 3/17 so it didn't even ship until that day or most likely the next day. Just arrived today Friday 3/25 and 1/2 are moldy and/or squishy and unusable. For $33 shipped for 1 lb pf aji dulcet #1 "Fresh Pods" they say, it's a complete shame. Will not order again. Ever.
Ordered my seeds on Apr 24 and paid 7.64 shipping. I think seeds will be shipped by priority service. Label created on May 13. Received parcel on May 20 with First class service that cost only $3.80. Ordered two types of vegetable seeds but received only one. Other one they said out of order and i find out today almost after month as i order. Nobody even send email before so i can order on somewhere else. Now i am too late, will never have my favorite vegetable for season. Don't waste ur money and time. Order somewhere else.
I placed an order for bulbs on April 26th. Today is May 9th and I still haven't received my order. I have been trying to reach out to them through phone calls, emails and chat messages and I am not able to speak with anybody. I am calling my bank to cancel my order and I will never order from these people again.
I ordered bulbs, they shipped late and arrived in old, soft, rotten shape. No response to phone calls, emails, FB or tickets posted. Worst company ever. No store front, works out of tiny house in PA. Don't waste your money.
This company can't keep up with demand. Customer service is horrible. I ordered seeds over a month ago. 2 days after ordering, I received tracking info. 20 days later, the company still hasn't pulled my order. They don't respond to emails. After many attempts they answered the phone and said they were very busy because they were receiving 2000 ordered a day, but promised to send my seeds"next week"... yet didn't even ask for my order number. I guess that's their standard response. That was two weeks ago and I still don't have my seeds, nor has there been any movement on my shipment. The seeds could have already germinated by now if they would have shipped them. I will never buy from them again since they don't know the meaning of customer satisfaction. If they can't fulfill orders in a timely manner, they shouldn't accept the orders, or at least have the decency to tell people to expect their shipment in about 2-3 months. Well, I'm hoping I have my order by then, but I'm not holding me breath. There are many seeds companies online, pick another one.
Earlier this year I bought some Speckled Cranberry pole beans from you. Not a single one sprouted, whether in-ground or on my heated seed sprouting setup. I am a very successful gardener for many years. I believe that somehow your seeds were irradiated during shipment and were killed.
I have not had time until recently to inform you of this unfortunate situation. Hopefully you can make it right. I'd love to grow speckled cranberry next year but you may want to check your seed stock. Thanks in advance.
These are top quality seeds! I ordered a pack of pumpkin seeds. I soaked in water for about two hours and put them directly into the soil. Every single seed germinated and I have healthy pumpkin vines growing really well. Looking forward to trying some more seeds! Thank you!
No updates provided. Did not respond to emails. Second call answered; answered very unprofessionally. Stated product out of stock nothing available until next spring; asked for full refund asked to to confirm follow up email; no reply. Called credit card company to reverse charges
It took many requests on their website and eventually calls to reach someone. I had a question about the best shipping address to use, finally spoke with someone who didn't do what we'd agreed upon-to hold off on shipping the order for a couple of days. I did get it and it's planted, so we'll see what happens in the spring. I was also supposed to get a first time customer discount, and didn't.
I ordered 70 fall planting bulbs and received the first week of December and as I live in Alaska will not be able to plant until late May or June. I called and called and finally talked to a man who said there is nothing he can do about it, not his problem. I asked for a refund and to send them back he said no not his problem. Poor customer service, don't order from them.
