We set in a $400 ToysRUs card. They returned it without comment. Someone used the total card value two weeks later. Not us. Either Cardpool is a scam or they have an employee stealing card numbers. I would not use them.
Purchased a Kohls card from them for Christmas only to find out two days after Christmas when my son tried to cash it in that it was no good. I have sent 18 e-mails to them since with no response at all. A company that does not stand by what they advertise. A total scam.
I purchased one electronic gift card online. Received a verification phone call the next day. A few hours later I received an email stating that there was an "inventory error" and my order was being cancelled.
Don't do it. They are still taking your gift cards and demanding debit card information, but they are not paying out. You most definitely will NOT receive an Amazon gift card in "around one day." In fact, you may never receive it. Impossible to know for sure. Don't. Do. It. Use a different service. This is a scam.
Was a little skeptical after reading the mixed reviews on here AFTER i sent out my gift card, so I was quite nervous that I had also been scammed like many others because of how long it had been taking to hear anything. I immediately sent out an email asking if they knew roughly how long it would take for them to "verify" my gift card. I received an email back the next day from a very polite customer service representative saying it should take 3-7 business days but could also take up to three weeks for them to receive it in the mail. She said they would be happy to help track it down if i had tracking information, which I didn't. I finally received an email yesterday stating that they received my gift card and would be sending out my check. Crossing my fingers and hoping to receive it soon. I feel you should not trust selling or buying a gift card to/from them for more than $50-$75. Mine was a $30 Coach gift card.
On April 14,2019 i sold a $50.00 Bed, Bath & Beyond gift card to this company. I was told I would be sent a check for $37.50. Transaction #*******. I never received the check. I called and e-mailed numerous times, receiving only the standard, pre-programmed response (several days, blah, blah, blah...) On. June 28th i finally got a response asking for more info (the trans #), which I sent. Since then, no further response and no check. The gift card was zeroed out and BB&B said they could do nothing to help me.
To the lady who thinks endorsements of cardpool.com are fake: No, I am a real and ordinary business owner who has used them for over a year now and they have never failed me. I love cardpool, and they now have processed transactions for me that number in the thousands of dollars. No kidding. Their customer service has been way above par. I have no problem recommending them.
Run from this company! My bank account was compromised after a gift card was purchased. Can not confirm if it was hacked or someone within the company violated me but I can say it is quite a coincident how the many transactions occurred within miles from the company address and from a single highway from there in California. The savings are not worth the headache I now have from this company. BEWARE.
I don't have experience with buying cards from this site. But I just electronically gave them my target gift cards for amazon.com gift cards and received the amazon gift card 12 hours later. My overall total card amount was only 50 dollars too. I know the reviews look bad but when electronically sending and receiving cards I had no problems.
I got a Steak and Shake $100 gift card for $76 that's $23 savings! Then when I went to steak and shake it was the weekend and kids eat free with every $8 you spend on the weekend. I ended up getting 3 kids meals and 7 adult meals with 5 shakes and two drinks for $56 including tax! I still have $40 on my card so it's like I only spent $36! Check them out frfr!
The worst experience I have ever had. I had 2 successful card sales but they kept my third card and have not responded to 24 e-mail requests and 16 phone messages. Ironically they are always too busy and goes into a voicemail that is never returned. The game is to do a couple of transactions and keep a card or two to increase their profit. I will be going to the Attorney General Office and the Consumer Protection Agency. This is blatant theft and should be prosecuted.
Of course I did not read the reviews before I bought a Target card from them! Not only did they send a bad card electronically but they do not take phone calls.
What kind of company does not take customer's calls for issues? POOR ones that is who.
Before you send them your money, either light it on fire or send it to me...
SCAM ALERT! Bought a gift card but it was invalid. Contacted them in every possible way but no response! They post on Facebook regularly but won't answer your message. When I commented about my problem on their Facebook post, they just deleted it! I saw another person posted her problem too, it was too deleted. This is clearly a scam behavior. If you would like to take a risk and buy from them, be prepared that if you have a problem, no one will answer your email or message. They don't have a phone number to call even for an urgent matter, all you can do is to wait for them to reply you some day which never happens. They do have a phone number for bulk sellers who do business with them but when you call, there's only an automated system telling you to leave them your number and they will call you back but this too never happens.
I had an egift card. Was exchanging for an Amazon card. No response so I emailed and got an auto-reply. Waited for a human to contact me, days go by. Finally 2 weeks later some creep calls to verify info. He has an old address I didn't even provide and wants me to give him other personal info. I told him to lose my number. Best bet is cardcash. Sold to site and got a direct deposit. Whole process was 3-5 business days.
I use discount gift cards all the time, so I know what to expect. When i use other sites... such as Raise and GiftCardZen ( I recommend both of these companies) I get the online cards emailed to me literally within seconds. Yesterday morning (36 hours ago) I ordered a card from CardPool that I really needed yesterday. I've followed up twice and still do not have the card. Avoid CardPool!
This company is a scam, they have absolutely no customer service if you have a problem. They do not return emails or phone messages, and you are left with no recourse, ripped me off for $385.00, STAY AWAY!
Worst customer service. No phone number. I think they are going out of business and therefore trying to scam people like they did to me. They never sent me a $1000 tiffany gift card that i bought but they never reverted the charge. I had to chargeback them with my credit card company. Please protect your money.
We recently received your gift card but our processing center encountered an issue while processing your card(s). Our risk assessment team has determined that we aren't able to accept the transaction at this time.
What bull!
I bought a Dunkin Donuts card, 102 for 76.50. Used cards twice, total of $25. The third time I tried the card was worth nothing. Figured out the original purchaser must use the app on their phone for the remaining balance. Cardpool.com has no phone number and does not respond to email. DO NOT USE CARPOO.COM. SCAM.
The concept is great, but just as others have stated, when I purchased an electronic gift card it was later cancelled. The site says if you purchase an electronic gift card it is usually delivered in 10 minutes but can take up to a business day. I waited a business day and still had not received an email with the gift card. I emailed Cardpool and then was informed that the transaction had been canceled because there was no inventory. Waste of time, they could at least take the initiative to be proactive and inform the customer if there is no longer inventory instead of making them wait.
Answer: They cheated me out of 75 dollars in gift cards they need to pay up
Answer: DON'T DO IT! You're just rolling the dice with this company, if there is a problem, you ave no recourse.
Answer: Hi Justin I would not use there service they scammed me out of a 400 Home Depot gift card then the block your account ignore emails and leave you with nothing I hope you look to another service it will save you headaches
