Had an issue with a card ($0.00 showed). Emailed customer service about it and they instantly sent me a new card of the same amount as my original purchase!
My very first (and last) purchase... a birthday present, somehow "had the incorrect amount on the card?" was the excuse, order cancelled and money taken... now IF I get it back it'll be 15 days!
CardCookie.com is the best of the worst from the group of sellers I've used for purchasing GCs. Problems that have occurred: no email notification that GCs are available, GCs aren't available anytime after purchase, GC delivery takes more than time promised, GCs short money, and GCs not accepted at retailer. CS did resolve my issues once I was able to reach them. There are just 2 online CSRs (no calls) and they won't escalate problems up the chain. Frustrating that they work on EST even tho their address is in Portland, Oregon. I wouldn't be surprised if they were renting an address.
They have a great selection of gift cards for great value, and the buying process is super easy. The purchase gets reviewed quickly and you have your card in no time. Thanks guys
Card values are never what they're sold as. They're off by 20% or so. Bought 3 cards and all were deficient in value. Contacted support and they blamed it on Starbucks. Never resolved.
They want you to give them some info from your bank account. Here's the message you'll receive after you submit your order:
"Extra Verification Step
We'd like to verify that you have access to your bank account online. We ask for this to secure your order.
We placed a line with a two-digit code on your credit card statement. Please find it and complete the following line by replacing the XX:

Which makes no sense because credit card statements cant' receive codes! So I emailed them to ask them to approve my order. They responded:
"we can verify your account in another way. Can you please send us one of the following:
- Proof of address: a house bill (electricity, cable, etc.) that has the same address of the credit card you used to pay for your order.
- Proof of identity: some official document with your name and picture on it (driver's license, passport, etc.)
Please take a picture of the document instead of scanning it. Once we receive the documents, we will review them and verify your account.

I know this doesn't sound right, especially given the fact that there is no phone number to reach them! But I wanted the gift cards so much that I did as they asked. After I sent them my water bill, I heard no further. Now I"m afraid they compromised my identity!:(
I rarely warn people, but STAY AWAY from cardcookie!
I bought a Starbucks gift card. It was supposed to be $60, when i uploaded the card the value showed at $45.99. I emailed CardCookies support desk and within minutes I received a response. They told me Starbucks was having a glitch on their side and how to resolve it. I transferred the balance to my regularly used card and when i did, $60 came over (the original amount, not the lesser amount that showed up on Starbucks website). I was also told by CardCookie that if it didnt resolve, they would send over the difference or refund me promptly. I've bought many cards over the years with CardCookie, and I have been completely happy every time.
I bought quite a few cards through these guys and their customer service was pretty good at first, however, I started getting more and more fraudulent cards with them, and it seems they got to the point they just didn't want to deal with me anymore, and so all of the sudden my credit card just "stopped working?" Dan and team that had previously been helpful and friendly, just stopped even responding to my emails... pretty pathetic! I considered myself a very good customer, and had initially felt good about supporting this smaller company, but am so glad I am done with them now! They are not honest people and I would never recommend them to anyone! If they can pull this kind of crap on me, then believe me, they can pull this crap on anyone! No customer fidelity at all! For someone that's been in the secondary gift card market for some time now, and knows quite a bit about this market, there are much better gift card resellers out there. My recommendation... don't waste your time on Card Cookie!
In rare cases there are hiccups with your with an order. However, You can count on card cookie to make things right.
I have used other discount gift card sites but when there are issues at THE OTHER SITES, they completely ignore you.

I got my target gc with 0 balance after 1 day purchase. I should be 100. I email the customer service. He responded quickly and replaced a new card for me. This is good for me.

Listen, anybody who has anything bad to say about this company is either a scammer who the company cut off and refuses to deal with, or maybe you're rude and they don't want to deal with a headache. Just treat them the way you want to be treated. I've been buying gift cards in bulk for over three years now from them. I buy from them every day as an e-commerce seller and as of now I've purchased almost 50,000 gift cards from them. THEY ARE 100% LEGIT. Amazing customer service and they always make things right. Don't think you're going to pull a fast one on them though because they aren't idiots and they have great verification methods. They are experts at what they do and they won't allow someone to take advantage of them, as it should be. They have very high security, which some complain about in reviews. However, think about the nature of the business. They sell discount gift cards folks. They have to be cautious and have tight security. Just be patient with them and try to be understanding and they will save you money.

I've used CardCookie for almost a year now, exclusively for Starbucks gift cards for myself since I typically just pay full price for Starbucks. I can usually find 9-15% discounts on Starbucks cards through this site, which is better than the competitors and, up until last week, faster to deliver.
I just reviewed my Order History, and all of my orders (18 of them) up until last week were fulfilled instantly. Last week I bought a card and it didn't come through for 30 minutes, so I ended up reloading my Starbucks app with my bank account instead. Completely defeated the purpose of buying the gift card, but I let it slide. Today, however, I'm experiencing an even worse delay... I placed my order over an hour ago and I still haven't received the code for the card.
Competitor websites can deliver electronically in 5 minutes or less. For that reason alone, I'm willing to pay the extra 2% and ditch CardCookie.
Get it together guys, you clearly have the funds to make this happen and customer service is obviously not your priority anymore. Bad news spreads fast, but I guess you'll learn that, eventually.

I am a regular customer with these guys... why pay full price? There have been a couple of times when there were issues, but both times the issues were resolved quickly and 100% to my satisfaction.
