Bought several Target and Best Buy cards in the past. Everything worked out. Had one issue, but representative quickly resolved it, after I sent an email describing the problem. 4 stars now with possible 5 in future.
Avoid! I bought lowes gift cards from them in Good faith and I got bad cards in return. 7 cards didn't work. They said there was nothing they can do since my purchase was over 100 days ago. Clearly they are selling fraudulent cards or have such little security that makes buying from card cookie a complete rip off. I hope they feel good about themselves for suckering someone out of $350. Don't waste your money. Scam artists!
Card cookie is just absolutely terrible. They made a mistake when i bought a 500 dollar card and it had no balance. After weeks of going back and forth with thier trash customer service i was eventually granted a refund. Ever since then if I try and buy a gift card they send me an email saying cant verify payment. They clearly just wanna ban me from the site for calling them on the wrong. Instead of telling me this they just lie and make stuff up. Be very careful when dealing with card cookie. Theres a reason why no one else has cards close to this price... its because something nefarious is going on.
1. Make sure you check the balance when your cards are delivered. There may be lesser amount, no amount or even invalid card.
2. Only buy when you are planning to use within 100 days of the purchase otherwise they won't even entertain your request. I have been a long time consumer and I was super disappointed obviously as i lost $150 just because i missed the 100 day window. Both the cards had the balance i checked when purchased but after the 100th day its gone and they dont even bother to check what's the issue. Pathetic as it sounds.
I rarely had issues with them before December 2021. However all the recent purchases got cancelled. At first they would say the balance of the card can not be verified but now they just say they can not verify my payment which absolutely make no sense because every time they charge my card successfully.
The cards that I tried to purchase are for Apple, Costco, and target.

I normally have good luck with Card Cookie but this time is not one of them. On July 2,2020 I purchased some Starbucks gift cards from them. When I went to load them I had a problem with one of them. It stated that "This card has already been added". I did not add it and I have the verification emails from Starbucks showing what cards were added. I have emailed Card Cookie three times and have not received a response to resolve this. I would very much like to keep using them as they have normally been good.
I am updating my review. Card Cookie corrected the error. I appreciate them making this right and am very happy with them.
Up to now, CardCookie has provided excellent customer service. Then, today, I got an email stating, "Since we couldn't verify some of your payment information, we need to verify your identity before sending you the gift cards." (All this after I saw a pending CardCookie charge on my MasterCard.) So after going through the STRIPE verification process (where I took photos of my face and driver's license), I got an email stating, "...after carefully reviewing the documentation you provided, we have decided that it is not sufficient to verify your account." So, I sent several emails asking if I could be re-verified, since my hair was still wet from taking a shower, and I was wearing contacts--vs. Glasses as in my driver's license photo. It's been over 45 minutes and I've received no reply. All this after successfully getting CardCookie gift cards for years. Extremely frustrating!
I have been using CC for a number of years, buying lots of cards. I have never had a problem until today with some compromised cards. I contacted customer service & the problem was resolved quickly with minimal effort on my part. I definitely will continue to use CC.
Card Cookie has been really great since I began to use them a few months ago after being recommended to them by a friend. Orders are fulfilled pretty quickly when purchased during their business hours. I recently received a gift card with no value and support was able to provide me a replacement card with the same value within an hour of being notified. I'll continue to use them as my primary website to purchase gift cards at a discount.
I've been purchasing Starbuck's cards from Card Cookie since 2018. Any time I've had a question or issue, they've been super quick with a reply. I purchased several cards on Sunday. One of the cards was already registered. I sent an email to customer support. They replied within minutes with a replacement card. Top Notch Service!
As a small business owner, I understand that that it's hard for their business. Selling gift cards online exposes them to hacker and security matters. That's why it takes real human to approve those purchase and it's slow. My experience is that if I buy during the working hours that will be OK. In the evening then the next days the purchase will be approved.
And when I buy often enough I encountered cases where there is zero balance. However their customer service takes care of that well. That adds however to the waiting time of buyers like me. But that's the best they can do.
On the other hand, the discount seems better than other sites.

There have been a few occasions where I have received gift cards that I had trouble with, particularly Starbucks cards that would not load in the app. Any time this has happened, customer service has stepped right in and sent me a replacement gift card within minutes often times with a greater balance than the card I originally purchased. This is top notch customer service and helps build trust between customers and the Card Cookie service. Great job! Saving up to 10% off Apple gift cards is awesome. There was one time that one of the gift cards didn't work and customer service fixed the problem super fast. I will definitely order again.
I like to purchase giftcards primarily for myself, as a way of increasing my overall discount at establishments/sites from which I frequently purchase.
CardCookie is one of the primary sites that I use for this. They usually have the best deals in the secondary GC market.
Once you have established yourself with them, digital cards arrive almost immediately.
I would guess that 1 in 50 cards or so have not turned out correctly. Customer service response is immediate, and solution is always at least acceptable, sometimes above and beyond (usually replacement GC for equal or more than the missing GC value).
I don't have experience with selling to them, but based upon the speed and quality of their communication and fairness of their dealing with me as a buyer, I'd fully expect that to be good as well.
Works great and helps me save a little bit of money when buying gift cards. I've had issues with my gift card balance not being correct about three times (versus about 30+ orders) but support always resolves the issue, and they do so quickly. If you order your cards during the week, you usually get them by the end of the day, or even immediately.
Customer Service responded quickly when I had an issue with a gift card that i purchased and fixed it right away.

It could be nice if the cards could come instantly after made the purchase so you don't have to wait, sometimes timing is playing a big role on saving.
