Ihad this product from a different supplier before and it did not last very long in the desert sun, ( about 9 months) but I am trying it again. It seems well made, But,
For a custom fit cover it, it needs improvements, it is quite baggy in areas,plus more straps and larger stronger buckles. I will be making a review in about 9 months,
At this time I am Not recommending.

I wasn't sure if one of their car covers would fit my police interceptor with push bar and spot lights - customer service told me what size to order and yay, it DOES fit. It comes down almost covering the tires and fits snugly.
I was also uncertain if this cover would deliver the waterproof rating but it's been raining for 4 days in a row with some standing water on the hood cover at times (push bar makes a swale). I've checked several times underneath and it's completely dry. Am very pleased so far with the performance of this cover and the very reasonable price. It's built well and the elastic fits snugly, the two straps are easy to cinch up, are sturdy enough and I'm not worried about this blowing off in heavy wind. It's also not as heavy as some covers to put on, is pretty easy to roll it out, won't fight with you.
The only mod I will have to do is place a soft adhesive backing to the plastic locking grommet so it won't beat on my paint during windstorms. Due to the excess width of the spotlights it has raised the cover just a few inches - enough they are in line with the body of the car. Not going to be a problem on other cars am sure, and there's a fix for it. If you're on the fence just order. I researched for months and am happy I went with this company.
I can't really answer the last question without seeing the product.
