My son purchased a tire warranty on new tires which is good for 6yrs. Our one tire is almost bald and there so called experienced manager comes out and started yelling at me, I'm his mother. I pointed and said this is the number of my son that bought them, then gets on the phone and started yelling at him. This so called Bob that is the so called manager of service really needs to be taken down a notch and should have nothing to do with the public. I will say that the issue is not over as my son said, nobody deserves to be talked to like that.
I went to repair my tire. And they told me that I need to change my filters. I had no idea about the price. So they over charged me for a filter and just a spray. It was supposed to be 30$ max but they charged me 100$. I am really disappointed in Canadian tire. They just scammed people. I just want to tell everyone that never go to Canadian tire repair shop. It will come very cheaper if u do it by yourself or do it in another workshop.
I called into the store to see what was happening with my online order and I got a snotty customer service girl that answered the phone and an equally appalling supposed to be GM which I really doubt! Both extremely rude and obnoxious! Just was trying to get driveway sealer and I was told by the manager to lower my voice because I was disrespected by the girl that answered the phone and then the again "GM" hung up on me! I am a 56 year old man and I fed up with Canadian Tire! Especially this store! I will never step foot in that store again! Poor excuse of a retail store and the worst staff I have ever come across. When I have been in this store before they are all angry like your bothering them being in the store buying! Wow I will spend my money elsewhere! Canadian tire better wake up before they too go by the wayside! Better yet it's probably better that they do it's a horrible environment for a paying customer!
I have to write this review of my experience at the Canadian tire at Cedarbrae mall in Scarborough. While waiting in line to exchange a pair of rubber boots, I observed the Manager Marion speak rudely to other customers, when I asked it she could get another person to assist her she sarcastic in said no she could not. One woman in line said she had waited 30 minutes had asked to speak to another manager was told they were coming and that no one showed up. When I did get to speak to Marion she was rude and abrupt. I ended up going to another Canadian tire... I would hope in the future this Canadian tire will, review there customer service approach or they may not have customers to talk too...

Despite my diligence in waiting at home during the prescribed time slots indicated, the delivery has not taken place on any of the specified days. To exacerbate matters, when I called and spoke with a representative, I was provided with the driver's number, only to be met with voicemail and zero response.
This level of service is not only disappointing but also reflects a severe lack of commitment to your customers. I have invested time and energy into ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery as per the advised schedule, and the result has been nothing short of ridiculous.
Given this experience, I want to inform you that I have every intention of returning the items for a full refund. It is evident that the service I expected has not been provided, and I am inclined to take my business to a competitor who values and respects its customers' time and commitments.
I urge you to investigate and rectify this situation promptly to avoid further damage to Canadian Tire's reputation. Customers deserve transparency, reliability, and respect for their time, which unfortunately, has been sorely lacking in this instance.

Purchased $5 magnetic Xmas weath hang, didn't work because magnet wasn't strong enough. So went to return with receipt to Canadian Tire on 130 Ave in Calgary. Would not refund money stating Xmas items had to be returned by Dec 24. Item did not work, but would not refund. Canadian Tire will lose a customer for any future business based on this interaction, doing business with Canadian is awful experience

I was shopping for a home alarm battery on Saturday morning.I walked into the store and I asked one worker where the battery for home alarms were. He did not seem busy at the time he pointed where they were. So I went to where he said they were and there was nothing there just regular batteries. I then went to ask at automotive desk and I spoke to a worker by the name of Joe. He immediately help be get my replacement battery. I showed him a pic of my old battery and he went in the back to get me the replacement battery. Joe was very professional, helpful. I just wish all workers were like Joe, Great attitude and very helpful. Thank you Joe in Automotive section at store no 237 Woodbridge 3850 Highway 7 location.

I recently bought my son a reader for his car and he looked at it and said it was not going to work. I returned it to Canadian tire today it was three days over the day due and they said they could not return it. I realize they are scammers everywhere but i had the receipt. I called customer care and they told me that any manager could over ride this and put me on hold and contacted the store manager. After a long wait on hold she returned and told me sorry I'm stuck with it. My son had passed away or i would have returned it quicker so I believe this was my fault for being a little side tracked with thinks. I was told to sell it on Kijiji. As far as I'm concerned this was totally terrible customer service and will not step foot in this store again. I was so upset i just left but plan to escalate this when i have more patients. I can't believe people still go this heap dump of a scam using a Canadian name. The store is nothing Canadian and it's a disgrace they even use this name. Canadian tire is a globalist garbage hole that rips off their customers with poison junk from China or other third world countries. They jacked the prices but at the same time prices of raw materials actually dropped. So who's doing the ripping? Canadian Tire is not Canadian and it has nothing to do with Canada at this point except being on Canadian soil. It went from a favorite to lowlifes selling junk and using garbage employees that have no business in retail or really in anything. Service is a big 0 and the products are about the same.
No matter how you pay for your product, if you wish to return it for any reason, they will not do so if you do not show them Identification. They do not ask for ID when you buy, nor inform you at time of purchase it would be required for a return...
It just says so on the printed bill after...
They treated me like a criminal because I tried to exchange an item without my ID. The staff at Penticton BC, Canadian Tire are very disrespectful in the execution of the identification policy. There is no excuse for being rude, condescending, and grilling a guy on why they happened not to have ID at the time. Just do the exchange or do not. No need for all that other nonsense.

I made a purchase today. I was served by a person that did not speak at all and then he threw the receipt through the opening in the glass like he was throwing out trash. I hope that I wasn't too much trouble for him to serve! I think that he must be just waiting for a lay off slip!
I purchased a Bluetooth handsfree device from Canadian Tire in Owen Sound on Sunday May 28 2023. I charged the device and tried it but it would not turn on. I tried again the next day and it still would not turn even though the charge lite indicated that it was working. Today May 30 2023 I tried to return it to Canadian Tire store in Milton. They scanned the code but could not find the product. They called Owen Sound and found out that the product was purchased back in 2010 were it sat dusted, inventoried for all these years until my arrival. It doesn't work because the battery has been dead for 13 years. I asked the manager in Milton about a refund and was told that they had to look into it to make sure they could get their money back for the product sold to me 3 days ago.

Had a very good experience at the store today, wanted to especially thank Anjali who was very helpful the entire time. She stopped in the middle of her work and helped me as nobody was helping me with the things that i wanted, loved her attitude would love to visit the store again.
They are robbers charge me 460 dollars for inspecting and my car is in parking in 80 meters away from the Canadian tire they guys are legal thieves only battery change they charge 1000 dollars robber in the shape of Canadian tire employees never help anyone so avoid to go there I m new in this country they take my all money
They keep advertising the sale items they do not have, bought twice from different stores and orders were cancelled after three and four days that they won't have the product and then they have products on regular price
My suggestion, avoid of online purchases through the site of Canadian Tire especially in the section of Clearance. Lots of This fraudulent activities are being done by who manage the site.
You can see an item of lots of quantities in the Clearance section, you buy it, it's okay. But after some time you receive an e-mail related to cancellation of the purchase because of not enough quantity. But when you check again in the site, you see the same item but in a high price.
We really appreciate Canadian Tire's employee choices. My dad and I were having troubles finding an item so we asked an employee for help and he helped us find everything we needed while being patient with us. Thanks Torin.
The recent assault and battery on a customer by your employees and security is shocking. The man is not wearing a mask but did not deserve do be physically attacked. I hope this customer sues the employees and Canada Tire.
