I traded in a decent travel trailer for a used 5th wheel from the Nashville store. I stop at a Camping World in Illinois, a guy comes out and says "you need to to trade that in before the delamination gets worse" I call the sales guy in Nashville he says you bought as is. The delamination could have happened since you bought it. 3 DAYS! I'm not a fiberglass expert they are.
The rear A/C wasn't working properly, they told me when I bought they had fixed it and gave it to me in writing I had a 30 day warranty. I take it to the Cocoa Fl store they say it was full of saw dust. I take it home the A/C blows warm air. They want me to make an appointment for a week from now to "look at it".
They told me any safety items they would take care of as part of sale. The brakes don't hold at max output. To help stop the gain has to be set at 9. The larger trailer that I traded ran at 5 and locked it up at 8. They say: "it's the truck.
As soon as I hit warm weather stink bugs came out. Not just a few the trailer was infested. Camping World. "yeah we see that a lot" Bombed it twice and I'm still finding them.

Megan was always there to help with any questions I may of had about scheduling my RV for service or assisting with my RVs warranty questions. Basically, Megan was the only reason why I was continuing to come to Lakewood Camping World. Your not happy, I am not happy is a JOKE. Beware dealing with this business. My camper was there 3 weeks and I started calling. They put me off 2 more weeks. Picking up my camper, the cover was off the water heater. They said it came in that way. Looking closer, wires were cut and a big crack in water heater. Camper was not received that way. Frog still does not work o electric. Now I hear excuses and they will not fix anything.

So, I purchased a 2021 300BH Heartland Prowler. It has been nothing but a headache dealing with Camping World of Bakersfield. It may be worse than fast food when it comes to service. My solar battery charger that they didn't have "in stock" when I bought the camper 4 months ago still haven't heard from them and they do not return calls after you buy the camper. All the plugs except the GFCI plug do not work (yes all the breakers are active and working). The electric water heater does not work and the gas water heater has a fault all of a sudden. Yes, I know they did not build this camper, but I paid for a warranty for them to return my freaking calls. This place sucks!
My wife and I recently put in for a 22' Class C RV at Camping World in Myrtle Beach. The first salesman could not answer basic questions and excused himself to go to the office and never came back. The second salesman also did not know the product but did get a tech to come out who was very knowledgeable. We applied for the loan and a week later we still never have heard from them. I called them a couple of days ago and the front desk said they would have someone call me and they never did. Whether we qualified for the loan or not they still should have told us one way or the other. We are still looking for an RV to purchase but be assured it will not be from Camping World. Their incompetence was overwhelming.
Purchased our 1st RV from Camping World a 2021 forest river salem hemisphere elite in May. Took it out for the 1st time in August only to have service come out as 1 slide wasn't working and the kitchen sink was leaking and during travel one side of the side by side refrigerator cracked (apparently the don't put locks on refrigerators but they do for the closet and shower door. Now we're in Florida and found the previous problems were never fixed (btw) still waiting on the refrigerator door. We've been calling both camping world and Good Sam since last week. Someone finally came out yesterday for the slide but was told it needs a new motor. We've also been calling corporate to help but have yet to hear when these items are getting taken care of. We are beyond frustrated with this whole experience.
Camping wild in Wyndham Maine repaired my camper awning during the repair they used some type of adhesive cleaner next to the awning arm.
The cleaner removed the paint.
They closed the awning and the damaged wasn't visible.
When we went camping I opened the awning and seen the damage!
I sent photos and after a week of hearing nothing I had to call back to see what was fogging on.
They told me that the repair would not be covered because it was hard to see.
Don't ever deal with these people the customer service is horrendous, repair work is crap and attitude is piss poor.

What's so hard about getting an LP hose replacement? Well if you go to Camping World St. George expect to be sold the wrong part and an abject refusal to correct the problem. People here are ignorant and very impolite when it comes to returns. I had to return a BBQ that simply would not fit in my RV storage area that was different from the display model, and it took over an hour to get a refund. Two strikes and now I can say I am not interested in another failed purchase. Go anywhere else besides Camping World St George!

#1 place to buy an RV and Travel Trailer at Camping World of Sacramento. I called in one day and Laura helped me with the perfect trailer. She made me an appointment and introduced me to a sales associate. Everyone there was upbeat. The atmosphere was inviting. The employee's were all cheerful, They answered all my questions because I am new to camping outdoors(I had a lot). I didn't feel like I was pressured in any means. I felt like a family member when everything was done. They have reached out to me to make sure I am doing well with my new trailer and If I ever need anything, they are here to help. What a BLESSING to have such lovely employees. You can tell they love their job and working for camping world in Roseville.
My rv was at Camping World Roseville California for 58 days. In 4 trips for repairs they NEVER repaired the refrigerator. But, without telling me, they did surge the 50amp circuit, then replaced the TPS to cover it up. However the surge destroyed the fireplace, Dish TV receiver, microwave, vacuum, coffee maker, and the alarm clock radio. Their 1st response was to bring it back. Why? They have not responded to a 6 page email. Am currently looking for an attorney.
Paid cash in full 6/22 for a 2022 Delano. 6/29 walkthrough air conditioner not working. 92 degrees in coach. Waited 3 hrs. Motherboard bad. 7/10 called supervisor-"in meeting"never returned call. 7/13 called Marcus at CW home office. Woman hung up on me. Calera forgot to order part. Finally coach ready 7/31. Keys in it, but couldn't locate keys to outside compartments. CW will order. Still have not heard from them
I recently purchased a 2021 Jayco Seismic 4113... took delivery in early May of this year and all I can say is WOW. The Davenport IA Sales team (Kristopher/Jody) team made us a good deal and they delivered us a great coach. There were a few issues that needed warranty work (no show stoppers), and the service team (Arron/Makenzi) listened to our needs and worked with us to order parts and schedule the work for completion. Thanks to the entire Davenport IA Camping World team for making our 1st RV purchase so easy and relatively pain free!
Scheduled work in March for warranty work for August 7th now its Sept 13th and nothing has been done. Been lied to and manager is very rude. I would not use them for nothing ever again. Worse place ever
My rv trailer has been for warranty work twice and it was damaged this last time. Trailer was sold to me brand new with a bent and damaged stabilizer jack, it was in the shop a month. A/C didn't work and the fridge was freezing everything. This time it was in the shop 10 weeks. They replaced the thermostat on the A/C and did nothing but reset the fridge. Fridge still freezes everything. After it came out of the shop I noticed the dent and scratches about 4 ft off the ground where it was dented. My manufacturer's warranty and my paint protection warranty are automatically void because they damaged the trailer. The paint protection was supposed to be 5 years and cost 1500. 00. They tell me it is not refundable. The GM will not take responsibility for the damage and then tells me if I am not happy I can do a consignment with them. The person who does the consignments tells me it was not something they did there at their lot and my trailer would sent to another state then, asks me to sell the trailer to them at less than what I paid not offering any monies back on warranties. A warranty refund would take 8 weeks to process. I cannot get anyone to call me back now and have even complained to corporate who also has failed to follow through. I don't trust them to fix this properly and my service guy said 95% of the time there is hidden damage. I wanted them to buy back my trailer and refund my monies. I'm not happy and only used this trailer 4 times. What happened to their moto if you're not happy I'm not happy?
So I have left a review here before about the bad service we received from buying our 2021 camper. I thought that after the corporate office called to see what they could do to help I would get some satisfied. After finally getting our camper fixed the corporate office has now left me hanging. I have called and left 3 messages and NO ONE calls me back to see how things went and if I was satisfied now. So not only do you not get good service at the store and it takes forever to get service... you get the same if not worse service from the corporate office. This is ridiculous!
Answer: Honestly, the more I look to find answers on Camping world, the more negative reviews I see, had an RV dropped off a Forklift while I was signing papers! Try to beat that! New RV and dropped off a forklift. Worse yet, the corporate managers DID NOT WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT, that folks is the legit truth!
