On our way to Clear water, Florida with non-changeable reservations we hit a tree that destroyed our roof air and a vent to the point of allowing rain inside the travel trailer. Seeing the billboard ad for Camping World Lake Park, GA we just took a chance that they could at least try to waterproof the damage. Sara in service set everything up for us by not only offering to make a temporary cover but replace the whole unit as they had one in stock. Mathew Bennett removed the old one, inspected the roof for other damage and sent us on our way in an hour. Outstanding employees that made a bad day much better. Our thanks to them and the company the work for!
Placed an online order for a portable holding tank December 31st. As of today January 17th it has still not shipped and they can't tell when it will ship. They asked if I wanted to cancel so decided that was the best option since they had no clue when or of it would ever shop. They asked me to wait after another lengthy hold them came back on to tell me is was already at their warehouse and could not be canceled.
So when you do your walk-through holiday you purchase your RV make sure you start the generator check the air filters check the oil has been changed check the transmission fluid as they say they had serviced the RV never believe what they say check it and then check it again ask for a front end realignment right side tire outside was bald they change the tire but did not realign pull the air filter out no Air filter been changed on this vehicle Ever the oil smelled burnt went to start the generator would not start looked at it spark plug wires hanging out I wonder what kind of service they do on your RV before you purchase it as far as I can tell they walk around it look at it and said it's good enough be careful purchasing an RV
Run as fast as you can to another RV dealership. I have dealt with them for almost 5 years. It has been one thing after another with the same unit. I can't stress enough to not buy from Camping World
It all started with a bait and switch on interest rate. I should have stopped there. Everything I was told at sale was not accurate. Remember "pre-wire" to CW is not what the rest of the world defines it. Half wired is what they do so you have to use their service for everything.

Took my camper to Camping World Nashville for maintenance 11/9/21 for routine maintenance work on our Scamp and asked for estimate to reseal openings, including my tongue side front window, which had a very slight leak when driving in the rain. I delivered it in very clean condition, inside and out.
Called 12/6/21 for update. They advised that the front window gasket needed replacement, but they couldn't find gasket, and added that Scamp had gone out of business, which I knew to be utterly false. Called Scamp immediately and found gasket for $40. Declined seal job ($1200.!), picked up camper 12/20/21.
Upon arriving home, discovered standing water on my table next to front window, which was now cracked, and the table top, due to extended water exposure, had delaminated. Also mud tracked throughout. I figure that they started playing with the window, cracked it, let water come in and then tried covering it up by slathering silicone around it. I notified Camping World immediately by phone, on their website and in writing. I also notified their CEO via email.
Long story short, in the span of 24 hours and many emails and phone calls, the last of which included the use of some salty language on my part, Camping World denied all responsibility for the damages they caused, because I declined their usurious seal job, which was the cause of my problem. My camper had a few drops at one window when driving and there was no prior damage.
Camping World is a dishonorable and unethical organization which treats its customers- through their actions- that we are idiots who will believe anything they say.
I purchased a class a motorcoach from the camping world location in Oklahoma city. I had issues with the coach immediately. The coach was a used coach but sales person promised if we had any issues before we got home they would definitely stand behind the unit because it has been expected and certified everything is in good working condition. Thats is a bull$#*! statement. They don't stand behind nothing. We called every day for over 2 wks. And would never get return calls. Filed complaint department and complaint department didn't even call back. I could go write a book on how terrible this experience has been and still on going! If you don't want to deal with liars and a business that doesn't stand behind what they sale DO NOT BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD!
I bought a portable generator cart generator from them via their website. Straightforward transaction, product received quickly. Then the telemarketer calls started for RV Products. I know CampingWorld sells their customer lists, as I do not own an RV, and the only way I would be receiving RV Resort timeshare calls is due to CampingWorld. Beware - they do not have any way on their website to say no to mailing lists, other than not receiving email from them. Do not do business with this firm!
Online ordering from CamperWorld is fairly easy until they take your money--after that it is virtually impossible to find out what happened to the things you ordered: no tracking number, online messages about system problems, "no information about your order" and on and on. Eventually you will get your order but only after you gave up and ordered from somewhere else.
Better to shop online with platforms that are more experienced and that have functioning systems.

I would like to complement New Braunfels Camping World Parts & Service Director Samuel (Sam) Wooldridge for the professional manner in which he, finally, resolved issues with the maintenance and replacement of axles and tires on my 2006 Keystone Everest 344J 5th wheel RV, which finally allowed me to take it home this evening. My RV had been at Camping World for nearly three months (since August 1, WO *******) and numerous TELECONs and visits with various service advisors had produced nothing but a "run around" about the service delay of the vehicle. Sam cut through all the "minutia" and, within less than three hours, had the RV ready to go.
Also, many thanks to the associate who helped me with the hook up of my trailer. Unfortunately, I did not get his name but his assistance in getting the RV hooked up to my new truck definitely saved me a lot of pain and heart ache.
Although I've been a Good Sam member for many years and have had maintenance performed on numerous RVs at various Camping World locations, I definitely had a bad feeling about New Braunfels Camping World until Sam stepped up. He was a breath of fresh air!

I have traveled all around the United States in rvs and had to have service work done, buy parts, buy accessories and bought rvs and never have I had such treatment, disrespect, rude behavior in any rv dealership, rv parts store, or rv accessories store or online rv store as I experienced in camping world at Hope Mills North Carolina. I hope nobody ever has to experience what I had to and I hope somebody with their store finally wakes up to what is going on at this Camping World.
They told me I needed a co-signer WTH 40,000 down total bull. They screwed me over that was more then half down they lied. Everyone stay away from camping world Georgetown Kentucky especially. We bought a camper this year, within11 days of having it, the roof leaked with the first rain. Took camper in for service was told it would be covered up or stored in shop while we had to wait for parts and manufacture paperwork approval. Almost 2months later we check up on out camper at camper world and the camper has so much water damaged due to not being taking care of with the known leak it had. Wasn't covered or sealed or put in the shop. We are still waiting on parts & the service team neglected our BRAND NEW CAMPER. It is completely ruined from the rain. A simple tarp could have saved this issue. Problem 1: sold us a camper with several issues. Problem 2. Assured us the camper would be safe with them & would be either covered, sealed, or placed in shop so water wouldn't do anymore damage.
Service manager had nothing to say to us besides admitting it was never covered. General Manager will not return a phone call to us and wasn't there that day. Camper world needs to make things right. Me and my family deserve a replace camper. This has been so stressful. This was out home that we were going to be living in.

I have good and bad at Jackson TN camping world. I live in my camper year round which makes it very hard to bring mine in to get fix. I had a major break down with the converter that took out all my electric. I thought maybe it was a storm but I guess it wasn't. Because it happened over a three day period I paid 6000 dollars for an extended warranty. I have not owned this at that time for 3 months. In the end they held my camper for an extra month and a half till I paid for it. I was in tears. The president of the company said give it back. Now I get it back we are going into winter I told them to check the electrical and other things. They didn't have the time for it I guess. I have the heater that is in the main room doesn't work. The house heater is shutting of. I am paranoid to call because I can't give up my game again but they charge you an arm and a leg to go mobile and I can't afford it. About to give up call a lawyer an get my money back for this 2021 artic wolf. Hell the company itself didn't even cover my converter. I am about done. Have a nice day. Kelly Foringer

New RV and dropped off a forklift. Worse yet, the corporate managers DID NOT WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT, that folks is the legit truth! It's one thing for accidents to happen, it's another to not make things right, bad management!
