Our girl was diagnosed with Addison's disease a year ago. So we were looking for something to put all of her necessary medical information on. Came across ByteTags and absolutely love them! Super easy to set up a profile and now if god forbid anything ever happens to her she has all of her personal and medical information right around her neck. They give us such peace of mind. We bought several more in different colors and materials to match her other collars. Highly recommend!

I originally ordered a tag for my dog on 9/28, and I still haven't received it or gotten any confirmation that it's been even created or shipped. The customer support response is just a canned email that says it takes 3-4 weeks to ship. I ended up filing a dispute charge with my credit card company

Purchased 1 month ago and the QR code has partially rubbed off and won't scan. My dog is not super active and wouldn't expect that after a short time it wouldn't work. It's a great idea, but incredibly poor quality

By far the WORST dog tag and terrible customer service. To start with, they advised these as tracking, which is a lie. They do NOT track your pet, when scanned someone can choose to share the location they are at right then.

Second, the silicone tag, doesn't even come with a way to attach it to a collar. When I asked customer service, they say you have to provide your own means for attaching it.

The print quality is horrible, light and hard to read, and doesn't seem like it will last long at all!

Decided to still try it, but try as I might to set this up, the app keeps freezing and kicking me out. No amount of restarting, refreshing, reinstalling, etc is helping. The website link on the tag just gives an error. This is completely useless! So frustrating and customer service is a joke and won't let me return this either. Their Return policy is a lie as well! Incredibly frustrating.

Will NEVER buy from this company again!

I've been using bytetags for my dogs for at least a year. I did upgrade to the silicone tags and so far they are holding up great with my 2 labradors. No issues with playing, swimming or bathtime. I did read some of the reviews and people seem to be upset that their tags didn't come with a ring to attach to the collar however you can buy a package of about 50 for maybe 2 bucks at Walmart and it comes with multiple sizes. I keep my dogs tags on an S hook which is more sturdy anyways. The shipping for the first set of tags was a little over a week. At Thanksgiving time during their sale it took about 3 weeks but I expected that since everything was taking longer from everywhere I ordered. When I sent an email asking about it I got a response within a few days. Other than that I've never had any issues. It was also pretty easy to setup the account with the dogs info and mine. I love these tags and it gives me a little reassurance knowing they have these tags.

It gives me peace of mind to know this will help locate them if they get lost. They won't have to go to a vet to get scanned. I did change out the key ring, but otherwise all 3 have stayed in tact and are cute. I'm pleased.

We use these on each of our 4 dogs, we love the peace of mind knowing if one of our dogs were to run away they could be easily returned to us. The profile is extremely easy to set up and adding multiple animals to your account is fast! The second the QR code is scanned we get a notification! We recommend them to all our pet friends!

I ordered a personalized version with my dogs name and ny phone number printed on it. It said it would take 2-5 days. I waited a week and nothing came. I emailed the company and they said "oh it takes 4-6 weeks for the personalized ones, it said it on the site". Well, I went to check because I had never seen that, and they had deleted the product entirely! I'm now at week 7, I have heard back from them 3 times via email (takes DAYS for a reply) and every time it's placating "oh we will prioritize your order and let you know" or the last one "oh maybe it got lost in shipping" even though it never showed as having even been made. I have suggested they just refund me and they continue to give me the runaround. I went out on a limb to support the small company despite my husband wanting to go with a bigger namebrand and now do I look the fool! Horrible customer service experience. Lots of lying and avoiding the issue.

The first ByteTag broke off so I wasn't very happy, but in contacting ByteTag and requesting a replacement they gave me a full product choice... free replacement and no shipping. I selected the silicone version as he seems more durable. It came quickly and without any fuss. Great way to protect you pet in case they get lost.

People are saying that this dog tag is bad and is not working as they expected. But I received mine yesterday and it works perfectly fine. It's very hard solid, which I don't know how people found that breaking. Very easy set up and very happy we got it.

I bought the original tags for my two dogs and they were really cheap and didn't last but about a week. I wrote the company and they responded very quickly and replaced those tags at know charge with new upgraded tags. The new tags are made with better materials and seem to be holding up wonderfully. It's winter and my dogs haven't been in the pool yet, but they look solid enough to take that beating. Disregard my first review and give them a try. They want a copy of my bill of sale and I don't have one because they were received under warranty.

I ordered the largest size they had, and it's small! The loop is about 1-3/4 cm inside diameter. I emailed their customer service about a replacement (because maybe they shipped the wrong one) and I never got a reply. So, I would not recommend buying from these people.

Customer service sucks! They advertised buy one get one free. They charged me for two anyway. I emailed them explain the situation they told me there was a code I was supposed to enter that I never received. They told me that was unfortunate. I called PayPal and they are looking into it. They have no number so you can speak to a person just an a****** e-mail. They're nothing but a scam

Been waiting well over a month for my order and still hasn't arrived. Also telling me they won't issue a refund on an order I paid for, but am not even getting! Do not order! There are plenty other tags out there that are the same idea.

I am an American living in Germany so generally it's hard to get companies to deliver out of the country but I got it within two weeks of ordering it. The item was $19.95 and shipping was $15.34 for a total of $35.29. But then when Deutsche post delivered it to my door they made me pay them an additional €8.40 which I assume is the VAT tax. Kudos to this company for providing such a wonderful service. It was extremely easy to set up and easy to use. Great idea! Thank you ByteTag! My dog was wearing the tag and took a bath in mud. She was filthy. I took her harness, the collar, including the bytetag And threw them in the washing machine. When it came out I was afraid the ByteTag would have gotten wet and ruined but it still worked perfectly. I tested it. I am soooo pleased with the product!

Don't waste your money! You will never receive your product! They will answer you the first time you inquire about your order, tell you they are busy and to give it 2 weeks instead of 2 days to ship, then they stop replying when if's been more than 3 weeks and it hasn't shipped yet.

I only purchased because it was advertised as a NFC comparable dog tag. Only to find out once I received it, they discontinued the nfc chips but still advertise as such on their website. Heads-up to anyone looking to buy one. If the only reason is the NFC, then don't.

These ByteTags are the best invention ever! They really give me peace of mind, especially if my dog ever wanders off. The customer service was awesome too, super responsive and patient with all my questions. 10 gold stars!
