The entire experience dealing with Broad Financial was exceptionally courteous and professional. The staff that spoke with were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
I was very nervous and concerned when attempting to open my self directed IRA...They made the whole experience seem so EASY! I would and have recommened Broad Financial to anyone.
The information provided was well organized and very easy to understand. I have contacted customer service several times and received excellent guidance and the representative was very courteous and respectful.
I would recommend Broad Finacial to my best and family.
I'm extremely satisfied with broadfinancial.
I received my Solo 401k when I was told it would be here, and I'm following the steps needed to accomplish my objective. I contacted Jeff to inform him that my binder was damaged in shipping. He had a new binder sent to me in a timely manner.
I would, and have recommended them to friends and family.
I am very impressed with the customer service I received from Jay Goldblatt. He is a very knowledgeable representative and helped me understand the process of opening my 401K Ultimate Solo. The product is genius and we are very happy to have it. It fits all of our needs a property investors. All of the staff I have dealt with have been very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Broad Financial and have been telling all my friends Jay and the company. I highly recommend!
Overall a very positive and seamless experience.
One glitch involved the transfer of funds from my IRA administrator that caused a one week delay. The form for the transfer provided a blank to enter the "approximate" amount of the funds to be transferred, presumably to allow for market fluctuations in the value of the account. My request was rejected by the IRA administrator because of a requirement that the account maintain a minimum balance. The initial response was to required Broad Financial to resend a request at a lower level to leave the minimum balance intact. Since I intended to close the account anyway the administrator made an exception and transferred the funds in the exact amount of my "approximate" estimate. I suggest the form be more clear so that the administrator understands the intent being to close the account or leave an account open with the balance transferred adjusted to maintain the minimum balance.
I am very satisfied with the process to setup my IRA LLC. The process was simple and problem free. I understood how things worked as I had done some research ahead and Jay Goldblatt confirmed my findings and ensured a smooth process.
Great experience and very helpful. Got our documents in the mail, set up our bank account very easily and already got funds transferred from one account and bought our first investment within the Solo 401k.
Very happy with the professionalism of Mr Noah Grodko. He was hands on assisting me with the set up of my Solo-IRA. He answered all my questions and walked me through the entire process which allowed me to relax and know that I had a 'real professional' on my side. Many thanks Noah.

Hope to have no problems with irs when we have our taxes done. Everything went well with the transfer of our ira $ to our ira checking acct. Have bought a rental home with part of the ira funds and are hoping to add enough $ to add another soon.
I found Broad Financial searching for a new IRA Custodian. I liked the idea of the Checkbook Control so I contacted them; after talking with them, asking a lot of questions, and reading reviews I felt they would be a good fit. Everyone I've been in contact with is professional, polite, and friendly.
We reached out to Broad Financial a few years ago to set up a self directing IRA - tax deferred - real estate investment tool. With Broad Financials assistance we transferred the money from our 401K and have made very successful real estate investments.
The team at Broad Financial are extremely professional, very knowledgeable, highly responsive with excellent customer service. We look forward to our continued relationship with Broad Financial!
I called with a question for Jeff as I was preparing to complete my binder before heading to my bank to open my account but was directed to another guy. Although he answered my question, I felt as though I was inconveniencing him. I know everyone has a bad day but I felt he was not enthusiastic as Jeff had been with me. Other than that Everything has gone as promised. Any questions my bank had for me was answered by my supplied folder. I went to transfer money from my IRA at my broker and was met with still more questions in which the supplied form supplied. He wasn't exactly happy with me but that was his problem. All in all a very painless transition. Looking forward to controlling my own growth thanks to Broad Financial!
I opened my self-directed Ultimate IRA in January of 2018 and I am very pleased that I did. Opening and getting it funded went very smoothly. The Government rules are strict with financial penalties for violations but Mark Weissman and others at Broad Financial have always been available to keep me from violating the rules. Broad also knows banks and investment firms familiar with self-directed IRAs and their recommendations of such firms have proven to be invaluable. Although Broad Financial does the heavy lifting with set-up and operating guidance, Madison Trust Company has been great to deal with as well. I highly recommend Broad and Madison and respect their advice with regard to my Ultimate IRA.
We started with Seth, when we were considering a Self Directed IRA. After further discussion, Seth steered us to Avi, who put us in a Solo IRA.
We were happy with both. They are competent, knowledgeable, and most importantly, patient.
We were new to understanding Solo 401k, Broad Financial walked us through it with us and helped us every step of the way.
I originally set up my acount with Broad Financial over 7 years ago to participate in some oil and gas opportunities. BF was the most recommended and most professional of the groups I spoke to. The on-boarding process was quite professional and very painless. I recently called them to see if I could use this account to invest in cryptocurrency. They not only could immediately answer in the affirmative, but sent me literature on how to set up an account with Coinbase so I could purchase and trade cryptos.
Two weeks ago, I was asked by an associate who I used to set up my self-directed IRA, and I promptly recommended Broad Financial, and would do so again.
From the moment I first spoke with Broadfinancial, I was confident that I was dealing with an organization that knew what they were doing. They were thourough, and took the time to explain everything so I knew all the options and could choose the best financial vehicle for me. The documentation is outstanding and easy to implement. I highly recommend Broadfinancial, and am recommending this to all my friends. Lori Lazarus
My LLCs creations were swift, simple, and thorough. All I needed to do was come up with some names and go find a bank for my checking accounts. If you want or need to aet up a self directed IRA, Broad Financial is who you want to do it with.
Retirement plans, in general, almost force you to invest in the market. But I have always been confounded by the market. I don't have time to study, and without study - and sometimes even with it - it seems like gambling to me! I am thrilled to have found Broad Financial's Solo401k product. I was able to pull my retirement funds out of the market and put it into a rental property. The ups and downs aren't as thrilling as in the market, but I see a clear and steady path to growth.
Answer: Hello Robert! There are no restrictions in this case, but in order to transfer your Self-Directed IRA to an IRA that allows you to invest in stocks, you would need to liquidate or retire any alternative assets before rolling over to a QRP. Another option is that your plan administrator must write a letter saying they accept alternative assets. However, this depends on the type of investments you would be holding at the time.
Answer: Hello Tyrone! Our company was founded in October of 2004.
