I lost all respect for this company when they took a stance and determined to openly promote soapers based solely on the color of their skin. Want to promote your product with them? Depending on the saturation is the melanin in your skin, that May not happen.
They take too long shipping product.
I have purchased couple times from Bramble Berry and every time I place order, they never get processed until I reach out to the customer service person named *. Very slow service and shipping takes longer. This is the last time I ever buy from here. I should have checked the reviews earlier

I purchased the Patchouli EO because the company I prefer did not have the larger size. Bramble Berry's EO smells like Campho Phenique. I have ruined a full batch of soap. I will be calling them tomorrow to try and figure out what happened and update. I am only giving a three right now because I have issues with contacting Bramble Berry in the past. Hopefully this will change. I really look forward to doing business with them more in the future.
The products are good and the turn-around time is just ok. The company is very treacherous with email marketing. Unsubscribe and they trick you into signing up again just by logging into your account. Be prepared to reaceive emails almost everyday. I gave them my feedback that their email marketing was to aggressive and the only site that catches you off guard signing you up by default when you login. They told me to pound sand claiming their marketing practices were industry standard. They do themselves a disservice alienating clientel with aggressive marketing. I buy from them but don't like them.
Many lives and business have been disrupted by COVID. However, this is by far the worst company for shipping in general! Wholesale Supplies Plus and Bulk Apothecary were both fair in shipping times but over 2 weeks since placing the order there was still no word of shipping, ridiculous. Though the money came out of my account instantly and in a world with free shipping why are we still being charged for shipping on orders of 400$ what kind of BS is that?
If you can't fulfill orders during COVID, then it would be ideal not accept orders. Every company has been affected not just Bramble Berry.
At the very least communicate with your customers on when they can expect shipping and give them the choice to order, transparency! We receive an order confirmation, you take our money then we hear nothing for 2 weeks until I follow up? Suddenly, my order shipped. Positive- so far qulaity products and good packaging.
Ordered almost 2 weeks ago, I received no confirmation email of my purchase, I saw online they have their processing time listed at 3 days. On the 5th and 7th day I tried emailing them inquiring about my order explaining I understood there maybe delays but I since I had not received a confirmation email I felt it was necessary to ask. I have not recieved any response to either email. Very poor customer service. Its one thing running behind but they need to update their information, or at the bare minimum respond back to inquiring customers. I only ordered from this company because I have heard good things but this is quite an awful first impression.
I really enjoyed their scents, however nothing else has been a positive experience for me. I was gift 15 lbs of soy wax and it was the wrong one so I asked to exchange and they DON'T OFFER EXCHANGES! I now have a bunch of wax I don't like or want! Any time I go on their 'chat' their reps have been so rude. Their products are really over priced as well! I've found better wax and oils that are so much cheaper. Please save your time and money
You will get great product at decent prices most of the time, but they are too big to care if you are their customer. If you want to ask them to send two orders which you ordered in the same hour and combine shipping, forget it, they don't have time for that. If you don't like a product, tough, plenty of people will buy it without you. There are plenty of other suppliers out there for the same product, you certainly don't need to put up with their bad service, you can find the same or better product elsewhere for less with a company that will actually help you when you have an issue. So, these guys are easy to find and they carry alot of stuff, but unless they are the only company online with the supply I need, I won't buy from them. I want my vendors to want my business.
I purchased all the supplies to make a coffee soap scrub for Christmas gifts this year. I received the box and assumed I had everything to make the soaps, unfortunately I realized a month later when I went to make the soap that I was missing the coffee fragrance oil. I called the customer service line, but no one answered, so I left a voicemail. An hour or so later I received a call back, and they were willing to send me the fragrance oil with a little faster shipping than normal. The soap came out really great also! They smell like a yummy ice cream, and I think my family will be happy with their gifts!
Have ordered from Brambleberry several times. While they have nice products, they are extremely slow to ship items after purchase. Have no choice but to go elsewhere for my soapmaking supplies. Sad as I live an hour away from their warehouse.
I am a disabled vet and i wanted to try to make soap to earn a little extra money, so I bought a kit that has "everything". It turns out bramble berry is missing a few items so they took a little off my order and sent it to me. No call no email no warning on the site that you wont be able to make anything with this kit since it is missing things. I talked to customer service and the guy i spoke to made it quite clear he couldn't care less, and said I could find the missing items somewhere else. Well that is what I will do and I recommend everyone else does as well. Look for everything somewhere else.
Horrinle customer service. Placed an order on 5/31. Recieved confirmation of order, but never shipping info. I emailed 2 days ago, nothing. I tried to do a chat from their website as they suggested, you can't. I just called to leave a message. We will see how that goes. Next, I will contact my lawyer to have them take care of it. I am glad I didnt spend more that the $50! Now I just want a refund. I wish I had read these reviews BEFORE making a purchase.
Purchased from this place and the jug of castor oil that I ordered had leaked into the bottom of the box. I couldn't understand where the oil was coming from at first but after I examined the jug. It has a cut in the bottom so I had to pour the remaining oil into bowls!
May Day Fragrance Oil: Wasn't thrilled with it in the bottle, used in cp changed me. This IS a strong fragrance, but it worked so well in my cp soap that I changed my mind about it. My cp soap is over 1/2 lard so it usually behaves well anyway. I've heard that florals accelerate, but this didn't.
I watched tons of videos online and it seemed that this was a good company to order from. When I received my product (ordered a kit) I didn't get instructions. I reached out to the company via chat and was talked to like I was stupid and couldn't read. I was disconnected from my chat several times. When I asked if I could return the kit I was told that all kits are not eligible for return but when I was ordering I didn't see it say that it wasn't eligible for return. So if you order anything they won't be helpful with even emailing instructions or let you return. Also the stickers/labels I received are not pre-cut. You will have to cut them out then apply them. They don't give you any way to adhere the wicks to the tins they mail out. And apparently you apply 3.5 oz of Fragrance to 2lbs of wax. The FO smells like cinnamon cardboard as well.
Brambleberry's customer service is by far one of the best in the industry, Shipping is prompt, they keep you up to date on where your order is getting out the door and if there is any problem once it arrives, they bend over backwards to make it right. I bought a 16oz bottle of Oatmeal Milk & Honey and the lid cracked in transit and just a small amount maybe a 1/2oz to an ounce, when I called and explained what happened they said they would take care of it [they] answered the call and I told her if they would just send me an ounce to make up for the lost fragrance I would be happy. Next thing I know I have a 16oz bottle show up at my doorstep the next week. That to me is a rare company in todays market.
I am a candle maker. I got impatient waiting for my usual fragrance oil supplier so I decided to give Bramble Berry a try for the first time. Two of the fragrances were SHOCKINGLY bad and inaccurate. They smelled very obviously synthetic and had a mild funky note to them. I have used honeysuckle and lavender fragrances before and would not have been able to guess these if I were blindfolded. I did not use a drop of the 16 oz honeysuckle because it smelled so rancid. I used about 1.5 oz of the lavender before realizing it would not work as a substitute for my usual oil. I contacted their customer service who told me they pulled the barrels and the scents were exactly as they should be and too bad. No refunds. The tone of the reply was pretty awful. I can see from other reviews here that other customers have noticed how off these scents are, especially the honeysuckle, and reached out to customer service. So they KNOW these are bad and misrepresented. They just don't care about getting return customers. Avoid them.
This is the BEST rosemary essential oil I have purchased for cold-process soapmaking. I made lavender and rosemary soap and switched to Brambleberry's brand in January 2023... my sales have tripled for this bar! The rosemary marries beautifully with the lavender and after one whiff, it's sold!
I'm still waiting on an order placed a month ago. No communication from customer service other than lies about dates. Haven't even received an order confirmation as of yet.
Good enough for each, but don't. I made some CP yesterday, and it smells like I baked all day in the kitchen! Since the soap has not yet cured, it is too soon to say how long it will last.

Answer: No, they are not. Their fragrances are SO synthetic, and the overall quality is not worth it. Do not buy, try to find another supplier. If you have ever had a issue with amazon, find another seller and buy from them. I will always get essential oils and fragrances from amazon after this experience.
