Boscov's is one of my favorite stores. They have a great selection, reasonable quality and terrific prices. Unfortunately, you need to shop in store if you want to get your items quickly. If you order online it can take 2 weeks to receive your items. Since we love to shop online, this is very frustrating especially when other vendors can manage to have my items delivered in a couple days. They have a local store and even though I prefer to shop online, I go to Boscov's first hoping that it helps support the local store.
I can't speak to the quality of what I ordered because I haven't received it yet and it has been 12 days. I am now on the 3rd "new expected delivery date." I order summer clothes for my child thinking a week max, but I am still waiting. I should have just ordered off Amazon and gotten it in 3 days. I live in a rural area, so going to the physical store would be pretty inconvenient, but I guess that is the route I'll go if I ever shop with Boscovs again. The prices were very good but I kind of needed the clothes sooner.
I bought 1 dress and it arrived in a few days. They charged something extra, but a reasonable amount.
I stumbled on this site while looking for my brother's favorite shoes. I was sure after all the year's they probably didn't make that model any more of New Balance. Then I found Boscov's I was a little leery at first, but I thought he needed those shoes so badly that I'd try Boscov's anyway. Wow was I surprised they arrived quickly and wear band new and I don't mean brand new old stock (which has been sitting around for year's, I mean brand new. Sometimes when you buy tennis shoes on - line you getting new old stock and you can tell they don't hold up. My brother loves his shoes. Just began ordering from Boscov's and I'm in love! Merchandise is high quality, but the customer service and shipping takes the cake! Very fast from online order to delivery. Discovered Boscovs about 10 years ago and have been shopping there ever since. I love this place. Great prices on a wide range of items from Clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry, housewares, bed and bath; all just awesome. Boscov's is one of my favorite stores. Turn around time is within the week of order placed. Delivered directly to your door and everything is securely packaged. If you like homemade fudge, ya gotta' try a their in-store made fudge; it makes me swoon!~ Truly delish.
I got shoes from Boscov. 2 pairs of great flat shoes with arch support. One had a problem. I returned it, and got the correct shoe back. Within a week!
No hassle. My feet are comfy.

If you have the patience and half the day - Boscov's on line has some decent deals from time to time. The problem is that if you'd like a picture of the product - it takes forever to load and if you want to see the product in the other colors that they offer - you don't always have that option. It's hit or miss with their sale prices and sizes available. The quality of the clothes and shoes is good and returns at the store are very easy. It's their website - just dreadful. I did take their survey and provided them feedback on it. If you are looking for slightly more formal than Target but not quite Macy's it's comparable to Kohls.
They don't reveal when you order that your item will ship first through UPS then your package will be handed off from UPS to the USPS which delays your shipment.
I shopped at Boscov's for the first time this July and have had nothing but problems with them since, 2.5 weeks and no resolution yet.
First they fished around in my bank account by placing a hold in the ammount of $600 for items that had already been charged to my account but not shipped. I called to have them remove the illegitimate charge & it was a nightmare. It took 2 hours, 6 discourteous, unhelpful and ill-natured customer "service" reps, 3 disconnects( i was told by Felix their phones are rigged to hang up on ppl after 10 minutes, rather evasive, imo) and a rude email telling me to contact my bank if i need further assistance understanding the holds procedure.
A few days later my merchandise began to arrive in deplorable condition.
Items were carelessly thrown in bags and dumped in boxes. They placed a pair of shoes-completely unwrapped on top of lingerie-also completely unwrapped-in a bag in a loosely packed box and shipped it across the country! The lingerie was pulled and snagged and certainly not in new condition. A pair of shoes arrived with debris on the upper and signs of wear & tear on the sole-they appear to have been worn & are also not in new condition. Many other items appeared to have been worn(showed signs of filth such as foul aromas and smears)and returned. In fact, the only merchandise from Boscov's that arrived in new and acceptable condition were 4 pairs of men's pajamas, still in their factory packaging
I thought I was ordering merchandise and paying for it to be delivered to my home in perfect condition. That did not happen.
As it turns out, I payed for:
1. The inconvenience and waste of time and money spending 2 hours on the phone babysitting rude & unhelpful staff while they fix Boscov's accounting mistakes
2. The inconvenience of photographing and documenting their shoddy, careless packaging and the damaged merchandise it produced
3. The inconvenience and waste of time sending 9(!)emails (including photos and explanations) in total so far without achieving resolution. Their best offer is "send it back, we will refund you when we get our merch back. Boscov's wants to blame UPS so they can avoid losing $. Macy's on the other hand offered an immediate replacement at no extra charge or further inconvenience to me. I received an email confirming this within moments & my replacement will be here in 3 days. All they required from me was to " please safely dispose of damaged items". <3 them for that!
Simultaneously, I had placed orders w/ Macy's, Target, Vitacost, Vitaglo, and several others. No one else placed holds on my account for money they had already deducted/received ( even and especially the large orders) and everything but one item arrived in ship-shape condition. The one "problem" was very easily resolved in less than 5 minutes with one phone call-this was Macy's-their customer service is outstanding, i will continue to shop there, but NOT at Boscov's. I have 25 + years of retail employment experience, ( and even more shopping experience :D ), let me tell you, Boscov's is doing it all wrong. Don't waste those hard earned $$$ and precious time there. You will be ripped off and treated poorly.
Terrible! I can't say anything. I ordered boots, the seventh day is going -no boots. They are so slow!
My first review I gave 4 stars because I paid $10 for shipping a $39 dress. This time I bought 2 dresses and a suit. It was a few days before Black Friday and there was a sale. I paid $105 for the 3 outfits, no charge for shipping. One of the suits was the name brand Tahari which would have cost me at least double if I'd bought it at Macy's. The suit and one of the dresses are excellent quality. The material of the other dress is a little flimsy but still a cute dress. All 3 fit but make sure you read the reviews on the website because one of the reviews said go up a size which I did and the dress fit perfectly. It took 5 days from time of order to the time I received the order. Can't ask for more.
Received an email on special prices on everything, proceeded to start to place my order, at the checkout I received message I had to have a boscovs credit card to receive the sale prices-descrimination or bate and switch?
I went straight to the Web Deals section of Boscovs where they add new items weekly and found some phenominal deals! Plus free shipping on orders over $49. They have everything from home furniture to clothing and jewelry. I love this site!

They have a large number of items ranging from clothing to tools and everything in between available for purchase online. Their "Hot Buys" and other sales can be very good. Shipping costs are moderate and shipping times are quick.
Except for some difficulty with their website... they are a friendly and helpful company to deal with..
Answer: Yes. I have no Christmas presents for my family and no ability to cancel the order and go elsewhere.
