Born Pretty

I recently tried some false eyelashes from Born Pretty Store. There were five pairs in the box, which is a bargain considering how much falsies normally cost. They were easy to apply, and added length and volume to my lashes while still looking fairly natural. My one criticism would be that they don't come with any glue, but apart from that I loved them!

Born Pretty is located in China, so of course their products are going to take a REALLY long time to get to you. Expect your order to take 4-6 weeks. A bit longer if you're ordering around Chinese New Year or another Chinese holiday. But aside from that, you're paying for nail art supplies for dirt cheap, when some of the same products (i. E. nail art brushes and dotting tools) are 10x the price at places like Sally Beauty. So is it worth the wait? Totally up to you. If you're impatient, then go to a store and get them. But if you're on a budget, then the prices are worth it. They also offer free international shipping which is great if you live somewhere where shipping is usually an arm and a leg (sometimes living in Canada sucks eh). However, don't take their product reviews seriously. The site only approves the 5 star reviews. I have a peel off latex barrier from their site that I don't like and I gave it like a 3 star review and haven't seen it posted on their site.

My experience with the born pretty store is a good one. I recently bought some nail art supplies from them and was very happy with the service I received. My products arrived within the estimated time span, and they arrived in perfect condition, due to the appropriate packaging. I was very pleased with this as they had travelled a long way to reach me, and breakage was a worry. The quality of all of the items I bought was flawless. They had no problems at all. The stamping set I bought works great, the stamping plates I bought create perfect, crisp designs every time and the caviar beads are bright and vibrant, just what I wanted to spice up my nail art designs. I have made one $55.00 purchase from Born Pretty Store. Most of it was nail polish, makeup, and etc. At firsts I was skeptical because of the fantastic prices, and my items didn't ship after two or three days, so I contacted customer service. They quickly responded to me, and told me that one nail polish was out of stock. I ordered a different color, and they also threw in a free small gift. I live in the U.S. And it took less then a month for all of my items to get here. All of the makeup was better quality, and less expensive from what I usually use. The nail polish was great, and the watch that I bought my sister was beautifully. I just recently placed another order, and I can't wait until that one comes as well.

I love Born Pretty. I have been ordering from them for a couple of years now. Nail polish, stamping plates, stampers, stamping polishes, brushes, nail care tools, nail art items, you name it. Delivery takes anything between two to six weeks. But I have never had one problem with my orders. I even tested out ordering stamping during the rush of Christmas or Halloween and got my stuff in time. Everything is so much more affordable than any other place I know. It's absolutely worth the wait. :)

Like many others out there who have unfortunately decided to give this crappy site a go, well I am as equally, if not more disappointed as you are. It's been TWO MONTHS since they say hey've shipped my order, and more since I actually ordered it. 'Shipping within 24 hours' was an outright lie, which isn't even that surprising. My shipping status only changed to shipped 10 days after the purchase. I wasn't expecting it to come any earlier than a month at most, but two months is just ridiculous. I messaged them about two weeks ago saying that I was waiting on my parcel, to which they replied I should wait for 1-2 more weeks. And guess what? Still nothing. At this point i'll just be happy if my shipment arrives at all, and even then I can't be positive that all the items I ordered are there. Please just don't.
