Erin and Ally are the best! I was looking to maximize my supplemental Medicare insurance at the best price. Erin explained in detail the Medicare plan that was best for me. She went over everything and seemed to anticipate any questions I might have. As I get older, I find sometimes my mind doesn't work as fast as it once did. Both Erin and Ally were so very sweet and kind. They never acted like any question I had was a bother for them to answer. Without Boomer Benefits, I would be tackling a complex issue and feel uncertain about if I was doing the best thing for me and my health. With the help of the pleasant people at Boomer Benefits, I am confident in my choices. Thank you!
Jana and Ally did an outstanding job, advising, confirming, and facilitating my enrollment into the medicare supplement and the prescription drug coverage plans that are right for me.
Both ladies were very pleasant to work with, communicating with them was informative and reassuring. Based on my experience working with Jana and Ally, I can unequivocally recommend Boomer Benefits.

We were pretty well prepared to shop for a supplemental policy and a part D plan but still had questions. It is hard to compare all the details. I like the idea of having a real person to help, and Jana was just great. She helped with facts and advice based on real experience and helped us focus and decide. The whole decision and application process was made simple and it's free of charge.
I'm confident that I can call anytime and get help with any additional issues that may arise. With all the information available online there is still a need for personal service, and Boomer Benefits filled that need for us.
Boomer Benefits doing great work again.
My wife setup her Plan N supplemental through BB a couple of years ago. It was efficient and seamless. My signup window is approaching. I knew I could signup three months before my birth month but did not know I could setup my Plan N six month prior.
Xavier Jones called and explained this. I was delighted to get this set said and done. It was a quick and easy process (as I already knew I wanted a Plan N supplement and would not be enrolling in a Medicare Advantage plan).
Xavier (*******864) and the employees at Boomer Benefits offer a great service. You got questions, they have answers.
Regrettably, the rep was impatient and overwhelming as well as overwhelmed. She shared that her house had just burned down and that she came in anyway to help clients. I asked her to slow down to allow me to ask any questions. It was all new to me, and her information delivery was an uninterruptible quick monologue. My prior rep was gone due to an emergency. Not a good choice if you need patient reps.
I used to get our Medicare supplement plan through insuractive. Our agent was Shelley Coon. You will not find a better agent to represent you. She always kept our needs met by making sure we had the very best plan that fit our needs at an affordable price. Unfortunately, she left the company and we made the decision to try Boomer Benefits. They are not as good as our previous company. You call and can't speak to anyone. They say they will call you back within 48 hours which does not happen! I would choose somewhere else to get your Medicare supplement insurance!
I was helped in a timely manner and all my questions were answered. I received calls and emails with product information.
I am not happy at all with the way I feel I was talked into taking a drug plan I didn't want, then to find out that the price of my medication is the SAME WITH insurance as WITHOUT the insurance!
I saw that boomer benefits looked good. Then I applied and found out they only help you if you do not have a Medigap plan or can change to their Medigap plan. I wanted help with part d plan and nope, I cannot change medigap plans due to underwriting. Then I learned they make their bread and butter steering people to one of their medigap plans. They sound like they work for the public but in reality, they are paid by the the insurance companies they are paid by.
I reached out to Boomer Benefits to assist me with the transition to Medicare. I was connected with Catherine; she seemed knowledgeable. However, it quickly went left. When I requested confirmation of our phone call appointment she didn't even know my name. She dismissed it as a typo and being overworked and tired. Second, she told me that in N. J. there's no "buy back" plan via Medicare part B in New Jersey. Again, that's not true. Boomer's Benefits is about gaining clientele. They're not about customer service.
HI Lisa -
Thank you so much for your feedback – it is truly important to us so we can address any mistakes made by our staff. Catherine’s manager has reached out to you on this matter. This is our busiest time of year, and our employees do indeed work long hours due to 64 million people on Medicare all needing to make plan changes within a 7-week period. She did let us know that in her urgency to respond, she did use the wrong first name in her email and for that we sincerely apologize.
In reviewing what happened here, I can see there is a buy back plan available but it is one that that we have chosen not to enroll any further beneficiaries into based on feedback from our clients. It appears she missed the setting in our software that would have made it visible to her. Her manager has shown her how to handle this correctly in the future. Our normal policy in this situation is to give you the plan name so that you can call Medicare or the plan directly to enroll. We wish you all the best, and thanks again for taking the time to let us know what happened.
The transition from private insurance to Medicare is overwhelming. Daily for months I received literature in the mail regarding this new transition. And they came from a multitude of agencies! I found Boomer Benefits and Nicole could answer all our questions and more! I can't imagine the mistakes I might have made without Nicole's help. Everything from the PowerPoint we watched to the personal experiences we had with each encounter was calming and helpful. We are grateful to be entering this next phase of life with the help of Boomer Benefits.
As other reviewers have posted, I also received a bill for lab/blood work. I have never been billed for these services in the past so I sent my friends at BB a quick email, asking for help.
Amanda responded quickly and let me know someone would be in contact with me shortly. Alexis called me the next day, and I explained the situation. Long story short, she contacted my doctor and the lab involved, and had them resubmit the bill to Medicare. She called me back a few days later and indicated that Medicare would cover the total bill. VERY impressive!
My girlfriend and myself will be BB clients for life, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing Medicare and prescription assistance!
Laurie at Boomer Benefits spent quite a bit of time explaining all the necessary details regarding my new Medicare plan. Her thorough knowledge and recommendations helped assure me that I was choosing the right plan for my needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone approaching the Medicare deadlines. All of my questions were answered professionally and thoroughly.
Makes our day to hear that, Steve! Thanks for sharing your feedback.
Ally has the thankless job of trying to decipher the crazy regulations concerning health insurance. She is always upbeat and diligent when I want to ignore it and hope it goes away.
I was referred by a long standing and hard to satisfy friend. I have been able to refer others that are as confused as I.

My husband is new to Medicare so we really didn't know where to start. We connected with Alex Roland. She was awesome throughout the entire process. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with us. We had numerous questions which she answered in a way that we could understand. She returned all calls in a timely manner and made the sign up process a breeze. We would strongly recommend Boomer Benefits.
The web site offers both written and video information to guide you through the complicated options in order to select the your best medicare solution. Jana Shelton, our agent, was extremely helpful and patient in guiding my wife and I to "fine tune" our choices, without the hint of pressure. Excellent service, communication and guidance.
Jessica was able to reassure me about going ahead with a needed monitor for my husband. We we unsure about coverage but after talking with Jessica, was able to make the right decision. I am so glad we have Boomer Benefits to help us thru these decisions, I'd be lost without them.
A friend recommended this company (and Bill Warren specifically) to me. Mr. Warren was a pleasure to work with in what I expected to be a daunting process. Everything happened exactly as he had indicated and in a prompt, efficient manner. I look forward to a long relationship with Boomer Benefits. I will be recommending you to everyone I know that is aging into the Medicare healthcare delivery system.
Jose did a wonderful job explaining everything and walking me through the different steps. I couldnt have done it all without him. I feel like he was and will continue to be there for me.
Very happy to recommend Boomer and Jose.
Angela Knight was great at getting a my secondary insurance to pay a bill that I kept received that was not my responsible. She made all the phone calls to them and did a 3 way call finely she managed to get it all straighten out she is a very pleasant and patient lady. I would recommended this service to anyone that's needs help
Answer: We are licensed in 49 states, so yes, if you call our office at 817-249-8600, our receptionist can connect you with one of our agents who is licensed in that state.
Answer: Yes. Your Part B effective date is what kicks off your 6-month opportunity to get a Medigap plan with no underwriting.
Answer: The VA and Medicare coverage is separate, so you shouldn't have to show your Medicare card. Next time they ask, you should pose that question to them and find out why they are asking for information when VA hospitals generally don't need to bill Medicare for anything.
Answer: Hi Vicki, give our office a call and we'll connect you with one of Danielle's team who is licensed in your state and can help you with your options. We'll take great care of you!
Answer: Hi Paul, yes we help people with enrolling into Medigap or Medicare Advantage coverage, and if they go the the Medigap route, we also help them with setting up their Part D coverage. We limit our Part D help exclusively to people who have purchased a Medigap plan through us due to simple supply and demand. Otherwise, we can't keep up with the number of people needing Part D help each fall during the Annual Election Period when 60 million people are all trying to make their changes within a very limited window of time. However, anyone can join our free private Facebook group - called Medicare Q&A with Boomer Benefits - and there you can submit questions whether you are a client of ours or not. We answer general Medicare questions in this group all year round for anyone who needs help.
Answer: Hi Richard, we do assist our Medigap policyholders with finding their initial Part D plan, and free support in subsequent years with shopping those plans at annual renewal as well. So if you would like our help with enrolling both Plan G and Part D, we would be happy to assist. We do not offer Part D services to beneficiaries who bought their Medigap plan elsewhere, and that is a simple supply and demand issue - we literally cannot keep up with the demand for Part D help unless we limit that service exclusively to our Medigap policyholders.

Hi Linda, appreciate your feedback. During the Annual Election Period from October 15th - December 7th, there are 64 Million Medicare beneficiaries who all need help in the same 7-week period. It is always our busiest time of year, with longer hold times because we get swamped with so many calls, especially in late November and early December. Our team works 6 days a week, nearly 14 hours per day during this period to try to keep up with the call volume, but we do return every call. I see that you called during that time and left a message and our team member did call you back but since it was at the very end of the election period, our callback time was running around 72 hours. However, since you are new to Medicare and still in your Initial Enrollment Period, the Annual Election Period does not apply to you and you did not have to make any plan decisions by the 7th. Now that the election period is over, there are no more delays in callbacks - you can get right through to a team member when you call. You have plenty of time to make a plan selection. We'll have a manager reach out to you today, and again we apologize for the delay during our busy season. Since you will face other Annual Election Periods in the future, whether you work with us or another agent, just remember to always call in the beginning of October and that will help you avoid any wait. We wish you the best and thanks again for sharing your feedback.
