I rented a book from them a week ago that came torn! The rental said that the used book was in very good condition. I wouldn't have rented from them if I knew I would get a torn book! I tried to contact them 3 times right after I got the book and never got a response back from them!
I am going to take them to small claims court and get my money back. How dare they send such garbage!
I am also reporting them to Better Business Bureau!
I spent a lot of money on a rental book that's TORN!

The newest version of this book was required for my course and cost ~$80. Thankfully our instructor allowed older versions and I was able to find this one for ~$20! Many many thanks to BooksRun from a college student trying to save wherever possible.

The price for the book I ordered was greatly less expensive than the price at my school's bookstore and on Amazon! My order was delivered with speed.
The rental portion was quick and painless. Price wasn't bad. What I didn't like was having to wait 3 wks to return the book. I had only borrowed it to take a certification test, wanted to return it within the week. Couldn't create the return label until 20 days after order date. It seems wasteful as someone else could have rented it in that time, thereby giving the company more money. I also was unhappy with the very late response time to my inquiry into this (22 days). As well as the lack of adressing my actual issue. By the time I received a "response," I had already printed my label and started the return process.
Love using Abebooks but one of my favorite sellers within that site is BooksRun! :)
