I normally order all of my textbooks from www.booksrun.com. They are much cheaper than my school bookstore. However, I was disappointed because shipping took longer than excepted. They kept changing the expected delivery dates. I ordered my book January 18,2022 and didn't get it until February 1,2022. I had already taken my exam by then.
I ordered a book for college normally priced over $170. Books Run had it for $30. It was listed as used but in good condition. What I received was in new-like condition, no marks of any kind. Quite pleased with my purchase. I've recommended them to my whole class. Will be using then again.

I can't speak to how this company is as far as purchasing, it appears they do fine in that regard. For any prospective sellers, I urge you to sell to another company! Like many other reviewers I was quoted one price and then offered much less. One of the books was in great condition with no markings, dog ears, etc. and they stated it had water damage. The other book had highlighting in it so I marked it as "acceptable" and still got much less than quoted. If you do not accept the new quote they will apparently send your books back but you have to pay to get them back. Customer service is also a complete joke. Do yourself a favor before selling and check out ratings on BBB as well. You only have to read a few complaints to determine how shady this company is. If you want to sell to a good company check out sellbackyourBook.com! I sold one book to this company at the same time and received my full quote with no issues.

This place is an abomination. Do not order from them. They have almost zero customer service - a fake chat online, no phone number to be reached, unresponsive by email. I ordered a book on a Friday evening and paid $6.99 for 2 day expedited shipping. They happily took my order online and sent me a receipt that told me the expected delivery date was after 2 days. I needed the book right away for a class. I immediately went back to the site to cancel, but there was no way to do it. I tried via chatbot. No luck. No phone number. I emailed several times right away and asked them to cancel the order. No response. I got an email saying it was shipping! I emailed again - don't ship, please cancel. They shipped anyway. I contacted by email again and finally got an email saying I need to pay for shipping to return the book and they'll issue me 80% refund. No dice. Save yourself $ and headaches and stay as far away from this company as you can.

Do NOT use BooksRun. They will ensure that any book you sell to them is categorized as a "late delivery" so that you get zero for it. So, within 5 days' time, the value of my book went from $41 to zero. Their rules are set up to ensure that they always have an "out" for not paying you and they know that the relatively small dollar value means that you'll just go somewhere else next time. I did not even get notified of the now "zero value" as I had to keep checking on the website. I suppose the only saving grace is that I did not have to pay to send them a book so that they could, ultimately, rip me off.

The app is user friendly. They don't accept a lot of books which is fine. They offered me $241 and some change for about half the books I wanted to sell. They received my order and made about $5 worth of adjustments due to some of the quality of the books. Again fine. BUT the problem was, even though they only made $5 worth of adjustments, my order total went down from $241 and some change to $180. I emailed them asking them what happened, but never received a response and my order was accepted by default... still haven't gotten the money, but I'm pretty bitter about the reduction of price without any reason or explanation. Had they have been upfront and honest, I'd probably still would have accepted, but they are literally STEALING from you and not holding up their end of the deal.

I paid $110 for my textbook. It was in excellent condition. Booksrun offered me $55. I was unable to get it to the post office by the time they wanted it shipped because I contracted COVID. They deducted $7. I reached out to them about the situation- no response. Finally got it sent in, and they offered me $18 because of one page corner folded back ( by millimeters). Said my book was in poor condition. I didn't accept their quote and had it shipped back ( I had to pay). They sent it in thin packaging and my book was damaged! Now I have a damaged book that I will attempt to sell and won't get nearly as much because of how they handled my book. If you don't want to be infuriated, do not use this company!

I rented a textbook from BooksRun. They shipped the book the same day as it was ordered. There was an issue with USPS and received the book seven days after the delivery window closed and three weeks after ordering. I still give BooksRun high marks as this was a problem with USPS, not them. BooksRun had the best price plus free shipping and free return shipping. I will happily do business with them again in the future.
