One of my books had globs of glue at the bottom about an inch from the binding which stuck the pages together. I think this is damage unsuitable for the "bargain book" description because the pages ripped apart which impacted the readability of the book. It was the first time I've been unhappy with a purchase.

I had very high hopes when I found a great source for books, and finding the book I bought cheaper here than Amazon was a good sign. Now, I may very well have missed a disclaimer somewhere that the book was used, or damaged, but I expected it to be perfectly new.
When it arrived, the plastic wrapping was open where the book came out of the sleeve (though the wrapping was covering the cardboard sleeve). A lot of cardboard shavings were stuck around the book, and there is a black sharpie marker mark on the outside.
That said, if I knew it was damaged, returned, or something, it would be a 5 star rating. A discounted book, and everything else about the book was in perfect condition.
I should have known to consider the outlet part of the name. LOL.
The selection is good and changes daily. Shipping time was quick. I was disappointed on the packaging for shipping as both boxes arrived damage due to insufficient taping> One box was too large for the books, causing damage as the books slammed against one another during handling. Only other observation was that the Don Quixote was a mini sized text.
Came across the site searching for a particular book that was about $30 most places and got it for $3 plus shipping. Book was in excellent condition on arrival. Took a few days to get but overall experience was great.
As a teacher, I was able to purchase novels for my classroom that were far cheaper than Scholastic or Barnes and Noble. Book Outlet allows me to provide new titles, and an exciting classroom library, at a reasonable price.

My boxes all came separately and were mostly damaged. Although the books inside were relatively unharmed, the quality of quite a few was much lower. I don't believe this was due to shipping but rather the quality of the boxes.
Both of my recent orders included hardcovers with dust jackets that were ripped or damaged in some way and corners that were dented. I would consider these "scratch and dent" books and shouldn't be sold as regular bargain books. I'm a bit disappointed with the quality and since it's happened multiple times now I don't believe it's a one-off event. I may hesitate in the future to order hardcovers and just go for used books from another site where the conditions of the books is more readily available.
It is very easy to use and the books come in very good/ new condition.
I buy most of my books from Book Outlet now because it's so much more affordable than brand new books but in much better condition that thrifted ones.

I like Book Outlet. My only problem with my order is I got two of the same book in the same order! Not the fault of Book Outlet, but of mine for double ordering by mistake.
Received order two deliveries. Problem I ordered 30 books 15 came by first order the second box the top was torn up and retaped. Only 14 books were in second box.

The book I ordered has multiple covers. I ordered the book I ordered because of the cover that was pictured, it's the older cover. The book I received is the newer cover, not the one pictured on the site. I wouldn't haven't bought this book had I know it wasn't the cover I was trying to buy.
