Bluehost is slow and sluggish. Every time I create a new website my data files gets directed to a temp folder and the SSL cert does not apply automatically. I have wasted hours with tech support bc of this ongoing issue.

The Call Centre people at the Phillipines are dismal beyond belief. It is excrusiating ringing Bluehost technical support - and I have been left multiple times with a disaster. One time the Bluehost (phillipines) call centre man told me I needed to ring another Bluehost number to get the help I needed. I believe he gave me his cousine's number - I went through to a girl who asked to use my computer remotely using GotoMeeting -I finally twigged when she was moving stuff around on my computer that she had no idea about anything and disconnected. Over and over again I have been ringing for hlep with my website which was updated by Bluehost and half my website has disappeared. The Phillipine people are a nightmare. I have been unuable to get through to a genuine technical support person and I have rung about 16 times in the last 2 months. This Bluehost Call Centre to the Phillipines situation is a true nightmare

Mostly great. I have to say I'm not a fan of WP, so issues with it are frustrating. Usually my issues are fixed in one visit. Having "english as a second language" individuals on the tech help side isn't as great as it used to be when they were in Colorado or Hillsboro (Oregon).

Always worked fine, and so I host several domains with bluehost, but the other day I could not access my website nor work for it for about a day. I saw traffic going down and some clients were angry. Pretty disappointing.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
