This service was marketed as though it would be useful and easy, though its clear that the service is more geared towards bloat and up-selling than simple domain registration and hosting. I'm extremely unhappy and disappointed with the service. I just wanted something simple: a registered domain, hosting, and easy to access FTP. Instead, you are forced into using bluehost's suite of unnecessary tools.
This website sucks - I can't believe how many clicks I have to do to buy domain privacy for each of my domains. Which I shouldn't have to do in the first place - why are those not included in the auto-renew? It would be a really good idea for you to have your UX people actually use your tools to do some of the basic tasks your users have to do all the time. Then maybe you won't suck so hard.
Service goes down too often. A lot of times CodeGuard doesn't work, CloudFlare doesn't work, slow WordPress management response times.

I have tried repeatedly to update my billing options and every time support tells me that feature is not currently working. I then get emails telling me my products are going to/have expired. Really?

I have been using Bluehost for years to store all my domains. Easy to use DNS, redirects, advanced Cpanel, and more. Love them!
For hosting the actual website they are decent. I prefer my own platform and level) Google servers.
They can give you a great start as an agency to get an unlimited account and have it all in one place. But moving hosting away to my private builders and keeping them as a domain manager is the best thing I ever did.

Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
