I'm doing horrible and nothing seems to be working. Plus this rate me thing keeps holding me up till I respond
I can't find what I'm looking for. The site is not intuitive and is difficult to navigate.
Stop trying to get me to move all my services to you. That's not what I'm going to do. I just need your support agents or an article that tells we what records to create to you my site pointed to your hosting platform. Changing name servers is a unprofessional and easy way out for you. It's not what we need and it's not why i signed up.
I'm new, it's too early to be asking about my experience. Over surveying can be disruptive.
Unfortunately, so far this whole set has been much more painful than I would have hoped.
I'm not even sure Wordpress has been installed properly, and the theme I purchased has to date been a nightmare to install.
Absolutely the worst nightmare from sales and support. Joseph finally fixed it. Total circus wasted time and money
The web site editing process is convoluted and not at all intuitive. I spent an HOUR on live chat to find out how to change a theme and did not get an answer. I was sent down a ridiculous rabbit hole of system folders. Only when I called support could someone help me, saying that activating a different template deactivates the current one. What a bizarrely buried method with no evident instruction, and when there could just be a "Deactivate" button on the theme.
Every time I adjust my website it just turns into a white screen
I am on the phone with someones now and she is rude, I have asked for a supervisor and she will not connect to me to anyone that I ask, she is ignoring me on the phone as we speak
The import plugin from Wordpress was terrible and broke my site. Better to just retire that if you're not going to provide amazing support for it. Otherwise I love Bluehost so far. <3
Can't get anywhere. Not user friendly. I thought I paid for everything i needed to build a website. Why does my cart show items that I already purchased? Do I also need to set up a WordPress account?
Finding one's away around inside here is not intuitive.
My email address won't let me log in - i need to keep using my temporary site name. It says there are too many accounts twtih that email.
Builder is almost impossible to use...Confusing with your site & wordpress.
I have used Godaddy, wix, Onos and several other buildets. But your interface and Builder is hard to use.
Wanted to try another hosting company but
Your builder is impossible to use!
Since my first phone call and buying Bluehost I have received 13+ emails.
My very first email was confusing because my username was not one I wanted. This propagated my first problem trying to login or use your services.
Another email on payment confirmation with yet another made up username.
My first real attempt to login to Bluehost resulted in a duplicate username error. Then after successfully login was annoyed by efforts to get me to spend more money immediately.
The first sales or support person was very nice but you need a better solution to start people out who do not really know what they want their domain name to be. Set the profile up with NODOMAINYET# where # is used for domain value uniqueness.
The second support person was very nice and made sure I was all set up. However, I had issues with my first on my own login in due to the duplicate user name issue.
Today a more money email.
Not one email about our meeting today and I waited 20 minutes for a phone call. Then I waited another 10 minutes with a support person on the phone trying get a person to "meet" with me.
About username, I think you should allow customers to have and maintain/change a username as part of their profile. The username like an email and domain needs to be unique in the Bluehost database. All three should be allowed to be used to login. This will allow customers to have a shorter login name when desired. This practice is also consistent with many other industry login processes.
Sincerely.
David Sternberg
I dont find a way to change primary domain! And even your support is offline all the time
Now I can't even sign in to my account! I can't figure it out!
From this point, I'm unclear how to continue setting up my page.
Your new user account experience is very frustrating. I logged in and was trying to set up my email, instead it kept showing me Create New WEbsite landing page. I had to be on customer service to understand where to go and create my email because I couldn't see the left navigation nor I could logout.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
