As a long-standing customer of Bluehost, it's disheartening to witness their services deteriorating over the years. There was a time when I would have rated their support and service as impeccable, a solid 10 out of 10. However, the quality has significantly declined, leading me to now rate them a disappointing 0 out of 10.

The core issue lies in their technical support. The frequent response to technical inquiries seems to be a vague and unhelpful statement about waiting for an unspecified amount of time for changes to propagate. What's more frustrating is that, even after several days, the initial problems persist, only to be met with further delays and excuses from the support team.

Given the importance of reliable and efficient customer support in web hosting services, I find it necessary to advise potential customers to consider other options. If you value consistent and effective support, Bluehost may no longer be the reliable provider it once was.

Host spread troyans

Our systems fell victim to a malicious attack originating from IP address 162.241.43.203,that Bluehost hosting, carrying the JS/Cryxos Trojan. Recognizing the severity of the situation, I promptly reached out to Bluehost support team for assistance.

To my dismay, the response I received was contingent upon my status as a registered client. Despite the importance of the matter, I was informed that actions would only be taken if I company registered cliient.

Subsequently, I endeavored to share evidence of the attack by sending an email with pertinent screenshots. Regrettably, these emails bounced back, exacerbating the challenges we were already facing.

Given the critical nature of the incident and the apparent roadblocks in communication, I felt compelled to escalate the matter and reported it to the appropriate law enforcement authorities. Simultaneously, I took the precautionary step of blacklisting the domain bluehost NetRange: 162.240.0.0 - 162.241.255.255 ( associated with the malicious activity.
Its seems to me that they not realy care about reputation.
I urge you to investigate this matter promptly and take the necessary actions to rectify the situation. Additionally, I implore you to review and enhance your security protocols and customer communication procedures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Warning! BLUEHOST may charge your bank account, 100s of dollars, NOT ONLY without your permission or notice! EVEN against your will, when you have removed your credit/ bank info from your Bluehost account!

There is no ever worst service ou can get as much as you can get from bluehost, always slow, always errors, now am 11 days my website is down, and wasted hours and hours with their customer service, and nothing happening, I highly recomend not to even put them as an option

The worst service provider, we have never seen such a loosers. We feel BlueHost India has to strenghten their after sale service to 100%. We have been facing issue in email communication for last 1 month and also getting repeted spam mail its not been resolved yet. Even though connecting to client service team for more than 47 times, they are not able to give the solution and not even near to it. They do not provide their office address and their technical team contact too.

We have almost shut our mail communication for more than 3 weeks and we have faced the losses too.

We seek immediate response from bluehost.com and solve the issue as early as possible or we have to take next steps to allign ouverselves.

This company is useless I've been calling everyday for 8 days and everyday I geta. Promise a supervisor will contact me right away. And NOTHING HAPPENS. I called for a detailed invoice and to remove my payment method and what did they do they removed my website services and cancelled everything….what does that do you ask it deletes your website and all your emails you have. They shut it down 8 hours after a phone call to their "support" team I never asked for anything to be shut down are you kidding me? To close someone's coma Ont website and then not give two sh it's about restoring it?!?!?! This company needs to be force to bankruptcy. They shut down my website and email 8 days ago and everyday I call they "escalate my ticket" then nothing happens. I've been promised three times that my services will be resorted in 24-48 hours but nothing happens. This is garbage I've racked up over $50 in long dotnace fees just sitting on hold waiting for their "support". I hate this company it makes me want to k i l l myself trying to get any help from the support teams. Supervisors are useless. Agents are useless. Everytime I call they say the team is looking into it but it's been 8 god dman says of nothing. Not even a god dman phone call. If I could talk to the CEO and tell who to fire I would they are ruining the company by not caring about their customers at all. I've never had a worst company support I've ever talked too. Beyond garbage. S-******* I would love a phone call back by the company if they even see this it would be a miracle they even call me back at all.

We have (2) Pro Hosting plans with Bluehost and to stay on top of the "extras" they like to sneak on the auto billing is a full time job. Support chat is a joke. Don't waste your money.

Poor Customer Service

When you have a problem, be ready to wait FOREVER to get help. If you are on the chat, it will arbitrarily cut you off after a few minutes. Then, you get to start all over again! If you'd rather call, be ready for some heavy wait time, interrupted buy a rude "all of our agents are helping more important people than you" message. I have customers to help. The "new" layout is a dud. Now, I can't find some of my projects because they pointed them to incorrect software, but there is no help. I need a company that has good support when they screw up like this. I've had an account for years, but I'm changing to another provider and do not recommend Bluehost.

Bluehost cut off our company's email and stopped hosting the site even though the bill had been paid. Worse, after complaining, they billed us again. Their policy is "no refunds", and they stick to it!. We were stuck paying for almost a full year of a service they didn't provide and we did not want. If you want to speak with them you need to enter a passcode sent to your email. Unfortunately, if they internally block your email address, you can't get in. Pretty convenient.

No REFUND!

I was charged today for a security service from Blue-Host. I called today (the day) I was charged to have it refunded and the service cancelled. The rep advised Oh, I'm so sorry we can cancel the service, but we can't refund. I was charged for a year. I don't even use the website that I was charged for. To add insult to injury they charged me an additional $60 for the service on this renewal. According to their policy they charge 15 days before expiration. So, they're not losing anything and I don't use the site. There seems to be no "live" US support. So the Jacksonville address seems to be a virtual address. I'm out $$$. I never put my card on auto-renew. When I went on the site there was no card there to be charged, but they have it hidden. Bad Business. Will NEVER use them again. If I could give them no star I would.
