Your popup is in the way of what I'm trying to do! Otherwise I love the
Service!
I entered a chat with Bluehost. Nobody got back to me. So far, your customer service is terrible. Just trying to give you a new cc number. Help
There appears to be a general collapse of your service. Even the root login page has changed. I can login with my aco$#*! number, but no longer with my domain, and your last representative promised an email in response to a problem and I have not had it. I have had to spend almost £2000 with you getting a dedicated server because the hosted platform collapsed. It was a known problem but you did nothing about it. Right now the server is not recognising standrd utf8 codes and my clients cannot login to my website with a password containing such symbols as a $ or £. I think your service has actually crashed, or at least all real support for it has crashed. The new server works to be sure, but there have been a multitude of migration issues. The configuration appears to be identical to the previous configuration, but not everything is working. You asked for the feedback, now you have got it.
I already explained how the new interface and new procedures have slowed down billing, slowed down domain transfers, have email messages that are written like spam, and confuse their customers with messages about domain locking that cause people to prevent transfers for 60 days. All the new procedures are adding HOURS to every clients attempts to do their work.
Consistent changes within bluehost, difficulty getting past ads that haave no cancel button, loss of information and files due to bluehost.
Being a novice in WP, this is a BIG learning curve. I'll catch up. Just give me a little time...
I haven't had any major issues. I only use it for email.
I find the website changes frequently without notifying me in advance with instructions where to find hosting tools.
You keep changing things. I struggled to remember and use the right user id and password combination to check my email, then you changed that process and I couldn't sign on to get my email. I called you technical help and the first person wasn't helpful and hung up on me. The second person helped me use Chrome instead of Firefox to check my email. Then, I was able to use Firefox, saving my user id and password. Now you're changing that an I have to put in my user name and password every time I want to check my email. IF IT CONTINUES, I PLAN TO SEEK OUT ANOTHER HOSTING PLATFORM AND CHANGE MY WEBSITE AND ME EMAIL.
Much improved. The beginning of the new system was rocky but it's improved.
Unable to remove services and revert to basic service level.
Terrible customer support, changed the back end system causing logins not to work with no communication
I have been having issues with site configurations ever since I signed up for a new hosting package for a domain under the same account where I have an expired hosting package,
I have been with Bluehost for 15+ years and the service has degraded over the past 2-3 years and it reached a pinnacle and the catalyst was your new UI being incompatible with the CodeGuard you sold me and corrupted my sites and no one would help nor restore the corrupted pages. That was the last straw and I have moved domains and websites to another hosting service which provided incredible service - friendly, timely, effortless, and just people who care about me and my business.
When the switchover happened on november 1st for my hosting plan from unlimited to throttled it messed all my sites up and I have had issues ever since.
Bluehost seems to have a bad rep on Reddit, but they have always helped me and have been very patient and kind.
This is the worst email setup I've ever encountered. It takes five different entries to get to the email, and when I respond to emails it looks aweful, like a really cheap email host.
So far great. Moved from IPower which I understand is also owned by you but have had much better reliability with Bluehost so far.
I have had issues with my website. There are a number of times I could not save my changes or plugins were disabled without my knowledge and not enabled at the end of our chat. I've spent a lot of time trying to fix problems of which I have very little understanding. I thought Bluehost would assist me with a lot of this, but the last rep stated it was outside of the scope of Bluehost and that I should get a developer. This was not what I signed up for. I thought there would be more assistance when things go awry.
Site was hacked and you eventually fixed it and refunded most of hacked credit card payments. A few left to go.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
