It's generally favorable, but for one thing. Last year I accidentally signed up for WordPress, thinking that I was instead signing up to extend my time at Bluehost for the next three years, but only for the services I had at that time. I never used WordPress and I won't. My website is very basic, efficiently laid out, and noncommercial. I make no money off of it, so I cannot afford the expense of WordPress. I know that I won't win any beauty awards for my website, but it seems to work for me as is. Thanks.
I don't think any billing should take place without an email preceding the bill.
Every week I have to write to technical service because the platform does not work, it is out of service, I cannot access any tags. It's been working very poorly lately.
It is very difficult for a non-professional person to navigate your home page to get to wordpress so that i can post a simple old lady blog.
It is me that is the problem, not bluehost! I am a technological idiot. I thought I could just sign up, pay my money and start blogging. It appears that i need an MIT graduate to put their hand on mine to get me through this.
I requested that she help me with the PHP update (Please note the version I requested is already very old, but Blue Host is even behind). Instead of finding a solution, she just refused it. Her behaviour was rude
Good. I just had a question about a new website. All questions answered. Very satisfied.
Great tech support experience. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and my issue was quickly solved.
Hosting expired because of an unclear email. I lost all access to email for 10 days. The solution was to provide me a backup for me to restore myself. I'll work it out, but i don't have time right now.
Too many pop ups that are selling stuff, not able to quickly get to work
I was attempting to work on my site in a staging area. The changes are showing up on my live site and I cannot access the staging site now
The technician was very helpful and I was able to resolve the issue quickly.
Horrible customer service, agents have no idea what they are doing. Huge extra charges for things I never ordered or wanted. Takes forever to transfer a domain to a different registrar and there is ZERO information about the transfer that is already finished somewhere else but the domain still appears as active on bluehost for two more weeks. Instead of real support, I am receiving threathening emails about loosing everything or more charges and nobody know what I am supposed to do about it.
VERY disapointed by your huge price increase after 3 years!
You are clearly not willing to keep your clients and loyalty is not important for you.
Bluehost is one of the worst hosting platforms I ahve encountered.
I paid for two domains $300 each and I ended cancelling both.
I feel cheated.
Chaos your end - totally confusing advice being given
Not as easy as I was led to believe, nor as economical
Bluehost is hard to understand. It seems like other companies in the mix are trying to hawk products such as Site Lock. I have had issues with my site being down DNS settings changing without my intervention and email failing. I think these issues were resolved after I brought them to their attention.
I did design my site before moving to Bluehost. That being said I am not a professional web designer. I just used what I had available and did what I could. My web life did become more complicated after moving.
Nice on, I truly enjoy all the navigation's. Thanks.
I had an issue with my website and the help was effective and the person whom I talked to very nice
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
