I've had a basic web site for ten years now. I don't need much... no fancy options. I started out at 5$ a month, and every year they increase my fee, and I need to call in to get it reduced. This has gone on for years. And now I am up to 12$ a month for basic hosting, and they could only reduce it by 15%, so I went bye-bye. It's best to switch up your host every year because they probably all do this.
Stop having stupid circular loops of links that need you to reauthenticate. Also stop hiding the cost of services I'm paying for.

After several months of market research, I purchased a series of domains for my lead generation business. About a week after purchase, all of my domains were suspended, without warning or any comprehensible reason other than the purchase was 'flagged as suspicious'. The issue is still on-going, 8 of the 9 domains purchased are still suspended. During the resolution process of the 1 domain that is now unrestricted, Bluehost seemed to be suffering some catastrophic server crashes making it impossible to log in and/or for the support team to access any account/case information. As you can imagine, all of this has left quite an impression as a first-time/brand-new to Bluehost customer. Seems like you guys over-sold your server capacity and outsourced your support team to a 3rd party in India who has absolutely no clue what is going on with the tickets they are creating and no real way to properly escalate/transfer unhappy customers to actual supervisors who are involved in the actual day-to-day at Bluehost. Just a guess...I am counting down the days until my 60-day cooling period is up and I can transfer my domains the hell out of here.

Bluehost has reached a point where its customer service and hosting capabilities are no longer usable. The challenges encompass frequent website outages, email issues, and notably prolonged customer service response times. Despite relying on Bluehost for five WordPress sites since 2014, I am actively exploring alternative hosting providers.
More specifics:
1) Bluehost charges credit cards for renewals a couple weeks before the renewal period ends and refuses to cancel, even if you are still within the prior renewal period
2) Following seemingly innocuous instructions to migrate "name servers" to Bluehost resulted in a multi-day email outage.
3) Faced multiple website outages, some lasting beyond 8 hours.
4) Technical support operates through chat, and it took 4-5 hours in these sessions before receiving assistance. The presence of technical expertise in their support team remains uncertain.
Not sure what else to say. Too many other options out their for WordPress & domain hosting.

I have transferred in a domain but the process has been mishandled and is still not corrected.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
