Renewal pricing is incorrect. https://www.bluehost.com/pricing clearly indicates Choice Plus renews at $8.99/month. That was not the case when Bluehost sent a renewal reminder indicating a renewal price of $19.99/mo. In addition, there is no clear method to downgrade to a lower plan. Will be migrating to another hosting service, plus notifying the U.S. Department of Justice of the posted incorrect renewal pricing.
I have been a customer for over 10 years. Never had an issue. Then I got hacked. I contacted Bluehost and explained what happened and the escalated the issue and sauid I would hear back in a couple days. Since then, I've had nothing but issues. My domains don't renew and my website is currently down. I've spent hours on the phone with customer service. I've spent hours chatting with customer service and nothing has been resolved. They always say the same thing. "I will escalate this issue and someone will be in touch."
Every time I open my bluehost web hosting portal on my Mac mini with a 24' screen the chat box opens immediately and blocks access to the personal account profile box in upper right of screen. Can you please correct this! Frustrating not to be able to have access to my personal profile.

One star for a couple reasons: (1) you make me click through a page trying to get me to upgrade every time I log in instead of letting my go straight to Control Panel (where I'm trying to go) (2) you keep showing me pop-up surveys even though I've clicked "not interested' multiple times. Try to focus on the customer - not on your marketing needs.

Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
