Blue was quick to respond and helped us restore our website.
The dynamic of Bluehost opting to move strictly to Wordpress and not really support anything else is bad. I have been with Bluehost almost 15 years and chose it because it did not favor one platform over another and because the customer service was way above the mark. This is no longer the case. The staff seems like the fallout of people trying to get a job from the COVID era as they barely know the system outside of the "scripts" they are given to repeat things like a parrot instead of being knowledgeable about anything NOT Wordpress. It is so bad that I am looking for a new host AND falling my 36 clients whom I've brought to Bluehost that it's time to switch. The Wordpress bias is irritating, and the customerservice has dropped so much I no longechoose to deal with it.
I have had a lot of issues with Bluehost, website going down numerous times in the past few years. In fact, one of my sites is down right now and I dont have the time to call and wait for customer service. www.romanagould.com
Chat agents always available doing their jobs well. I am happy with you Bluehost. Hopefully stay here forever
Chat host helped my through in the end but the whole experience was unnecessary as it seems the bluest "system" changed my user ID randomly which caused a whole lot of unnecessary confusion. Since the "system" changed my ID, it seems (according to my chat host) that the "system" cannot be corrected in house.
You all have the worse service I have ever seen of any kind of business entity I have interacted with throughout my entire adult life. Just count the number of times we have contacted you by phone or through chat.
My website, Lifelinecpa.com, keeps crashing because of server issues. Every time I call you fix it, tell me the issue is resolved, just to have it appear once again the next day. This has happened at least 7 times in the last 2 weeks. When I ask for a solution, the account representative has no clue how it was fixed. It seems like the very representative who blue host clients talk to are not the same as the same people who fix the issue. When I say fix the issue, I meant temporarily. It is a complete shame that I such a huge company permanently resolve an issue for a client that the client has called 20 times about.
I manage 9+ websites and today and another time this week all 9 sites were down for approx 10 minutes. Spent 30+ min in chat session with your Rep and he could not find any issues. Please have this resolved else you will force me to move my webistes to another hosting company.
It took a week or more for you to reset my password on my professional email, and I still can't add aliases
Somehow today I couldn't get into my account... almost a year getting in the same way and today, i couldn't, 45 minutes to deal with that... not a happy camper here...
The site bluehost.com is not working well.
I login into my account and it takes too long to load or sometimes the "cPanel Email" is not working.
I checked in with Google and used phone verification.
I really enjoyed wordpress many years ago. The new wordpress is turning out to be a steep learning curve.
Bluehost has been a complete pain in the neck to deal with and have tried to kick me out of my legacy account for the past month. I have had to call many times and waste countless hours to have access to my website just because THEY tried to screw me over.
Your new interface buries content that was previously easy to access. Give us the option to revert back.
Have been trying to get my website fixed for multiple days in a row. They say they have fixed the issue but every day when I try to edit it site the problem still hasn't been fixed
I've contually attempted to have the support team assist in transferring a domain to me, from a friend, and have continually not succeeded. They descrube what to do, look into the status and tell me to wait a couple days. I return, nothing.
When I first began with hosting, Bluehost was great and by far my favorite hosting provider. In the past 6 months, however, primarily following the renewal of my hosting plan, the service has drastically worsened.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
