My first delivery did not arrive on selected date. Customer service found another florist for me as I obviously didn't want the neglectful florist originally used. I will absolutely use Blooms Today another time as I was totally satisfied with my experience.
Blooms Today is not a trustworthy online florist. I was sucked in by a Groupon coupon which was cleverly worded to deceive you into thinking you were paying much less than you are actually charged. Then, without any notification, they deliver whatever the local florist who fulfills the order has on hand, rather than the specific vase or arrangement you ordered. I could have done better at the local supermarket!
The red & white arrangement is what was delivered. The next pic is the full, lush version I ordered of a beautiful blue/clear, square vase with mostly blue and white flowers. Disappointed is an understatement!
I purchased flowers for a funeral. Never arrived. Website was great and customer service was nice. Just the follow through is bad. This really hurt me because they could not deliver for the unity of the grandchildren last good bye at the burial site. Will never use or trust them as a standing company.
Please do not order from this company. I placed an order one month ago for Mother's Day. The order was cancelled by the company on the intended day of delivery.
I got a lousy $20 off coupon for a future order which will totally make up for the missed opportunity of not getting my mom flowers on Mother's Day
I know they have some groupon discounts, but please do not support their business
I ordered an arrangement for a friend and when it arrived she sent me a picture of it. Her arrangement looked nothing like the one pictured on their site (fewer flowers and fewer ribbons). I called the company, they profusely apologized, said that some of their vendors have been known to skimp, and they promptly issued a full refund. Although I was dissatisfied with the product, I am very satisfied with their follow-up.
I ordered the sapphire collection. Vase was suppose to be sapphire blue. Flowers were in clear vase and wilted. Very unhappy this was for Mothers Day. Tried to call Thursday May 7th. VM says we are no longer taking Mothers Day orders will reopen on the 11th. Wow I'm so disappointed.
The fruit basket I ordered for a grieving family arrived promptly. I was sent a photo and the basket was assembled lovely. They tell me the basket was heavy. Thank you for adding a bit of joy to a family experiencing a solemn time.
Spent $164 dollars on flowers a week prior to delivery date. Not only did the flowers not arrive on time. They didn't arrive at all. Called to change address. They took it upon themselves to cancel my whole order. I should have known from last year when they delivered dead flowers late. Wish I had 4 hands. I would give this service 4 thumbs down.
Ordered on Saturday, no record in system. Reordered on Sunday price was significantly more (30$ more than Saturday) delivery was to be Sunday. Never delivered. Today (Monday) I was told all that can do is remove weekend delivery… I am upset that this is 2 days past the birthday and I over paid. Will not order from them again
Complete SCAM! All I wanted to do is send flowers to my girlfriend. They use marketing tricks to and "discounts" to get your attention. When I looked on the credit card statement I was charged $9.99 for some membership that I didn't wanted or needed. When I called to cancel it, they told me I cannot cancel until two weeks after I signed up. They would not refund my money either! Very disappointed and will NEVER use them again!
Ordered flowers paid 70.00 only to find out it is extra 10.00 to deliver in morning hours no where on website about morning or evening delivery. My wife went on vacation before flowers were delivered. Never again
I usually don't write reviews but this time I have to to just let everyone know how terrible the site and the service are!
I placed the order on Friday for Monday's delivery as it was my son girlsfriend's 21st birthday. On Monday morning, I called the company to make sure the flowers will be delivered today. They assured me that everything is in order and will be delivered between 11am-7pm. Then around 1pm, I received an email stating that substitution is needed as they don't have a specific bouquet. They also stated that they reached out local florists and have a similar bouquet that will be delivered today. And then, an 1.5 hr later, they sent me a cancelation notice of my order. It's already 3pm and not possible to place same-day delivery. I'm beyond of my frustration and disappointment. Stay away from this site and you want to make sure your order will be delivered!
Paid over $100 for flowers, a balloon, and a box of chocolates to be delivered on October 1,2023 which is my wedding anniversary. It was supposed to be delivered on a Sunday (Which I paid extra for) and I emailed them Saturday to verify everything was on track for delivery and they told me everything was on track. Moral of the story, the flowers were never delivered, and I was empty handed on my first anniversary with my wife. 10/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND. I ordered them a week in advance.
I ordered the middle choice for a funeral bouquet for a friend's grandmother and called to confirmed they received my order (the reason for 1 star for customer service). What was sent was not what I ordered and not at all for the amount of money I spent. I've read they use local florists to create but the ball was dropped somewhere! Whether on the florists end or Blooms Today, not sure, but it's clearly not what's expected on the website.
Blooms today has 3 sizes of most arrangements, from Great, Greater, Greatest.
When you order from them... it auto sets to Greater size. No one tells you until you hear the price at checkout, (if your astute enough to know the prices.) You need to ask what is least price of the arrangement chosen. If not you will be charged for the greater size. Also be aware of the language used in their Blooms Rewards Programs offer!
Treatment of employees is one of deceit and not fair.

I ordered what was supposed to be a discounted arrangement for Valentines Day for my wife at $64.99 and was charged $141.00 plus a recurring $9.99 charge for some rewards program. On top of the unauthorized amount being charged, the flowers were NEVER delivered. They shut off their phones, there is no answering service and all numbers go to the same place. After some research I found that they only employ about 4 people but the e-mail address I found was *******@bloomstoday.com. She is the Administrative Contact and Technical Support person. I would recommend that no one ever buy from this site or their true store name which is Flowers Today Inc. According to this site (http://www.aboutus.org/BloomsToday.com) the Better Business Bureau gives them an F. STAY AWAY!
I will never order from Blooms Today ever again. I placed an order paid extra for weekend delivery and within 4 hours. The delivery was supposed to be there by noon Saturday at the latest. I get a phone call at 4:00 saying they can't do a weekend delivery. Well if you couldn't do it you should have told me that when I ordered the flowers! If I wanted them delivered on Monday I would have ordered them for Monday. I have never had an issue like this with 1-800-flowers or Teleflora. Save your money and go buy them elsewhere. Terrible service. The flowers better be worth the wait. They should change their name to Blooms 3 days from now much more appropriate.
I wish I did my research prior to using Blooms Today. I ordered flowers early on Friday morning. Told they couldn't do same day delivery so guaranteed delivery by noon Sat. Of course there was an extra Sat delivery charge. They never showed up. No phone call. Nothing! No explanation. I had to call customer service and best they will offer is a refund in 5-7 business days. Do NOT use this delivery service!
Extremely unhappy with the order that was sent to the recipient. The flowers were supposed to be in a wicker basket. They were in a wooden box. Only two of the four plants were correct. The other two plants were substituted with inexpensive replacements. The order was sent to cheer a pre-op patient. Photo on the right is what she received. Complete failure!
I paid the expedited fee to have flowered delivered before school let out. Not only were they extremly late, they didn't even have them there before they left school. Customer service basically said... sorry we'll try better next time. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN FOR ANYTHING. Buyer beware, they will charge you an expedited fee and be late with a simple "sorry" as if that's just the normal way the operate.
Answer: They are legit, but what you order isn't always what you get since the flowers come from a florist in your delivery area.
