I had heard negative things about others customer service experiences with Blizzard, but recently I had to deal with them about a billing error and they were completely terrible to deal with. I get that the customer Service level people don't have the power to break policy and refund money, but they would not ever refer me to someone with that power, and every time I contacted them I was assigned a new CS rep so there is not a single person who knows the whole sitch from the beginning. By the time they assigned me to a manager he just said they couldn't do anything and if I contacted them again they would consider it a breach of the terms of service or something. While I was unhappy with them, I was definitely not offensive or abusive or anything. The heartlessness and disrespect they showed to someone who was just trying to get money back that they don't have to lose is pretty staggering. Like, I still want to play there games, but this experience was so bad that IDK.
I don't play videogames, have never heard of Blizzard Entertainment, and have never been to their website, yet they stole my credit card information from somewhere and charged $30.78 on it. There is no way to contact them; they just sent an abrupt email saying to take the issue up with my bank. These guys are flat out thieves!
I had not logged into my battle.net account in 6 years. In that time I had swapped phones thus loosing my authenticator and the email I had used was hacked by a spammer and deemed locked forever by Microsoft. In less than 24 hours support was able to utilize other forms of my ID and got me back up an running in time to try the Diablo II Beta weekend. So impressed.
Years ago they had also helped me recover my items in WoW after a person got into my account. I have always been impressed with their responsiveness and ability to calm a worried gamer.
Like many, I've lost income. I had to make choices about what I could spend money on so I could cover the rent. The cell phone was first to go. Blizzard say a cell phone is not required to lay their games, but if you don't have one they will give you grief every time you want to play a game. I couldn't even spend my money on their games because they blocked me from all purchasing options. That's probably a good thing as it stops me spending money. But why they did it stinks. I've also been using a VPN for 11 years. The internet is not a safe place, and a VPN adds a small amount of additional protection against online predators and creates a sense of calm when purchasing online. Blizzard won't have any of it. So no cell phone and use a VPN - "You must be a criminal or a mobster". So they banned me. I either have the internet or a cell phone, I can't afford both. The VPN costs me less than $2 a month. Blizzards tech support was rude, condescending, arrogant and the most unhelpful team of uneducated people I've ever had the displeasure to deal with.
Hello, my account has been banned saying that I used unauthorized software, which I never have, it has been brought to my attention that it could have been because of the new windows update as I play on the PC, i'm not sure why this is my fault and don't believe that I should have been banned, I did a ban appeal but I wasn't given the chance to explain the situation properly, I have been a loyal player for many years without any cheating of any kind
I used to play WOW and was elated when WOW classic was reintroduced. However, I got really busy and had to cancel my subscription last JUNE 2020. My lapse was not scrutinizing my credit card bill line per line. I took comfort on the fact that the cancelation of my subscription would have sufficed BUT I WAS WRONG. Blizzard still kept charging me $14.99/mo! When I was given a link to have a live chat, the person abruptly terminated the conversation. Blizzard refuses to refund me in the ILLEGAL charges they made citing the length of time I raised the matter to them. Apparently, simply canceling your subscription is not enough. You have to watch and scrutinize your bill if you've ever made a misfortune of subscribing to Blizzard because they will still ILLEGALLY charge you despite your cancelation!
A fantastic Company. I personally was involved with Russell, Tony, and Paul in the repair of my air conditioning. Their customer service and customer care were outstanding, second to none. First Class. Went the extra mile to make sure I had air conditioning as soon as possible. The type service I received was just like the old days, when people really cared about customers and proved it with the quality of their service. Russell drove an extra 100 miles to pick up a part and make sure my AC was fixed for the weekend. With 11 of us at the house, it meant more than I can put in words. I will be forever grateful. This is my AC team for life
I've played WoW since 05'. Recently, Blizzard hit me w/ a 6 month "ban" for alleged cheating in-game. The truth of matter is, another player reported me. Blizzard claimed they did a through investigation and stated I was ban for, "botting". If Blizzard really did any investigation they would have realized, I had not been, "botting"! In addition, Blizzard would not refund money owed to me for prepaid subscriptions. Blizzard will not discuss any details of "alleged violations" with you and, are very swift to judgement. Maybe my game, "ban decree" was retaliation from Blizzard for a recent commentary "chat" remark I made about Blizzard being a very "WOKE" organization. Beware!
You can't possibly have access to the sorts of resources you have and still be this wildly incompetent and unreliable. What's worse is you actually charge money for some of these games? I will never, ever purchase another game associated with this garbage can of a company. Brand new PC, AWESOME ISP (honestly, who loves their ISP?!) and this is the ONLY thing that constantly glitches and costs me matches with friends. Constantly being dumped from servers while my internet and PC are running like clockwork. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
I've been playing Blizzard games since the 90's, and I used to love how much effort they put into their games. But frankly, after the WC3 Reforged fiasco and how customers had to threaten mass legal action to get refunds for misleading advertising (they had decided to go back on a lot of promises made without telling people, and even had them up on their website for weeks after it launched without it). Their customer service is really limited. I feel like I'm shouting into the abyss here. Their GMs flatly told me they weren't going to help me with a bug that made me lose progress and that all they could tell me was to report the bug. They closed the ticket without it being resolved. When I look on the customer service forums, they're short, rude and unhelpful. They don't try to find a middle ground if they can't help with the issue. They essentially just tell you, "Tough luck!" It's really disheartening and has just left me feeling like I don't even want to do business with them anymore.

I got the dark portal pass only for a friend and was going to refund it she said to wait a little loner and boosted then decided to quit and got hers refunded because she told them it was for groceries. I am stuck on a pvp server which i hate. And they refused to refund tbc classic when all i did was grind a level that was negative fun like pulling teeth, only been a week and under 10 hours, they stole my 70$ and since its bnet balance I can't use a credit card or paypal to charge back which they know is appropriate in this situation but are bait and switch about what the boost is money grubbing thieving a-holes. This is a warning to the few people who have not unsubbed from retail that this company has no soul in its development or pride and neither version of their game is worth playing anymore until they add content thats not rehashed

No phone number to call, just plain unacceptable. When you have issues that go beyond the standard answers in their self help escapades there is no way to contact a person directly. What a joke, my account got hacked, and a simple request like revert it back to my original email and let me change the password can't be completed without uploading a picture of a Gov. Issued ID? Get real, who do you think you are Blizzard? I'm your customer, not your secretary. I have been purchasing Blizzard games since the late 90s, guess what, never again.

1) Cristin - my "Fan-Advocate" - did an excellent job; again. She managed it to get me the right stuff; after some tries, which was not her fault. So: MANY thanks for your efforts. -> 5 stars!
2) The people who build the products (a print in my case) and those, who are responsible for the shipping. The builder(s) glued the print off-center. So badly that you could see the cardboard between the frame and the picture.
So the 'Tour de Replacement' starts.
The shipping-guys sent the wrong replacement-print to me... twice(!). At the third try they made it - at last. -> 1 star!

Purchased a game while in Australia af6ter I previously opened a Battlenet account when residing in UAE and then I resided in Thailand now they are denying me access to the game I paid for!
I've been a customer of theirs since 2006 when I first bought World of Warcraft from London Drugs. If I required any in game assistance by a GM, I would open a ticket, and then I would get a "GM WANTS TO TALK TO YOU" when my ticket was ready to be serviced. There I would speak with a GM, and all of my problems were solved this way.
Now, nope. No gm's around. Automated messages. So their customer service has plummeted. Forums? If you fit the narrative, you're allowed to spam the General Discussion every day despite your posts getting hidden by the community, and flagged. You don't get any repercussions from that. Oh, but if you then post cat videos, or animals farting videos in that narrative thread. You'll enjoy a 7 day vacation like I just got. Woke company hell bent on pandering to minority groups by silencing others. All in the name of PR.
Shadowlands was a HUGE disappointment. Like how I capitalized HUGE? LOL This expansion is definitely the nail in the coffin that stops me from subscribing to WoW ever again. Game is nothing but chores for casual players, and really awful world quests with pretty much no reward. Entire game is designed to time gate, and annoy you. There are ways to time gate you that aren't noticeable. Blizzard doesn't even hide it. They flat out mock you in the game by calling you a Maw Walker. >.> Get bent Blizzard. You're never EVER getting another penny out of me.
Very bad, unhelpful. I wanted to use my withdrawal right but they didn't accept my request but they said that warzone and modern warfare is the same game Which isn't really true because warzone is free to play while modern warfare isn't free
