Well, I'm disappointed with this site. I paid money to subscribe and I chose to cancel out of my own volition. Yet for their selfish ends they refuse to take my picture off their web site, I called their customer service and was put on hold for over an hour without anyone picking the phone. I paid money to feature and I personally cancelled, why don't you do what I want you to do cancel my subscription for gods sake. I was told the reason they are doing that is to use peoples pictures for marketing. But that is a britch of contract and it is most unfortunate, how you could treat people like that for your ultimate ends. I actually thought we are better than that.
The user interface is AWFUL and nearly UNNAVIGABLE. Whoever was paid to develop this dating site that looks like it was developed circa 2001, needs to not quit their day job. Additionally, as a caucasian male who WAS potentially interested in dating an African American woman, i was deeply disappointed in the selection of women in my area. They were all either ugly, fat as hell, or both. Two thumbs down. I'm going back to Match.com to get my fleshy pencil wet.
Meet a man, went on one date and he tried to sleep with me. He was a really nice guy, so I gave him another chance before he asked me to co-sign for him, and asked me to buy him some Jordan shoes all in three weeks of knowing him. He rents his cars and tries using women into thinking that he is the best thing since sliced bread. After that 3 weeks, I deleted my profile, his phone number and never spoke to him again. I guess the feelings was mutual because he never called again after I told him I was not buying him anything.
This man has ruined my life. This site sucks royally and the quality of men is low. I have met several men and the ones I have met seem to be overly aggressive, ugly, fat and liars. Make sure you check your account when you cancel because they will try to be slick and charge you.
I elected a one-month subscription via clicking the appropriate radio button. I decided to pay through pay pal and noticed after completing the completing the transaction I was subscribed for 6 months, charged almost $70.00 and was scheduled for renewal. The Terms and conditions clearly protects the company and beats the consumer out of their hard earned money.
Majority of these men are not what they appear to be. Their only looking for one thing and alot of them do have wives/girlfriends. This site is a waist of money and I don't recommend it to any female. This site doesn't even deserve a star.
BE AWARE! If you "request remove automatic removal" - your credit card on fill will STILL be charged a renewal fee; before subscription expiration date, I might add! This has happened to me on more than one occasion. I then have to call for a refund.
I agree with many posts that I have read here. I met up with this one wholly insecure idiot on the site. I mean, this person told me that I "use too many 'big' words" and that I made him "feel stupid". He said that I needed to "dumb down" the conversation... It was as if every word that I uttered made him increasingly angry. His triggers were conversation about women's empowerment, college, and "big words". I believe that he may have suffered abuse in his childhood by the hands of a woman with a college degree and an expansive vocabulary. Perhaps she stuck a dictionary up his a$$ once, so he felt f*cked by knowledge. Literally... After this, I took the site for a joke!
The site sends you flirt alerts from men that did not send you the flirt in the first place. They do little marketing to attract new users, most of the men are broke, ugly, and are opportunists. You will receive alerts that there are new users in your area only to discover they live in another state. Whenever you are online it is displayed, which puts you in an awkward position by alerting everyone to your frequency online, it should be confidential, or at least vague like online this week, unless you requested online chat, wouldn't recommend it. I'll try online dating with other reputable sites.
I am a peace officer and was told that i have a criminal back ground and was cancelled from the site, i called the company and got nothing more than a recording telling me to email them and fill out a form. Obviously this is nothing more than someone who made a bootleg company that has a one man dog and pony show to fool people
I made my profile today and within an hour I had over 60 messages/flirts. And then it all made sense I got two different profile views from two different men from 2 different states with the same exact profile... word for word. I took a screenshot folks! I thought I was actually going to meet a decent black guy.
The app reviews and your email reviews never match. If you are a senior they will try to bill you for both. More importantly they have interested parties, email you multiple times saying nothing and repeating the same response over and o er.
Don't waste your time with this computerized dating site. They actually sent your flirts, fake messages and everything else to make you think someone has contacted you. But when you actually message that person they will tell you they did not contact you. Keep your money scam! Site.
When your account expires then they have fake accounts send you messages like they are interested then a few days after you reactivate your account they gone
This site is useless. All you get is false interest messages with one sentence. Once replied to there is never a response. I think they fake the interests towards paying customers. I would never recommend this site.
My new husband and I met on Black People Meet three years ago. He had been on the site for awhile, and I had only been on for a short time. I came across his profile and emailed him. It seems that we had a lot in common, and we decided to exchange phone numbers. Eventually, we started to Facetime. In the meantime, I relocated to a new residence, and he came to assist me (we made sure we were both vaccinated, because this was during the Pandemic:-). I guess this was meant to be because we commuted for two years (we lived in different states).
As for BPM, we had no problems with the site, yes, there were some unusual and unsavory profiles, but that was when I used the delete button, and the site would warn me about some inappropriate characters, as well. Neither of us had any problem with the payment nor the cancellations of services, once we found one another. All we can say is thank you BPM and we wish others the best in making their love connection!
I have not been able to access the site and the email to recover lost password does not work. I have contacted the company over 1 month without no response by phone or via email. And still continue to be charged I am turning them into the Better Business Bureau
Met my sweetheart on BPM 3yrs ago. I was waiting for my membership to run out and the very last week I received a message. We talked for a month and finally we met. He planned the perfect date. Best date I've been on in all my life. We look forward to spending the future together. We've talked wedding plans. Will keep BPM posted. Don't give up ladies!
Fake flirts to get you to pay. Once you pay... no more flirts. You send messages to people who do not reply. This is likely because they have a free account, which is a tease for both parties. The worst is that the "matching" algorithm has shown profiles of the wrong gender THREE times in two weeks! (I am male seeking female -- I have been shown 3 male profiles).
The site is poor quality first off and its a scam I cancelled my account but it auto renewed twice. I didn't catch the first one but I caught the second. The rep said they didnt receive a request to cancel. Also not many active people on then it gives false alerts and statuses for people. People (new) that have not been on for months. To many free dating sites to pay and nothing is better then the old fashion way.
Answer: Yes you have to pay. You can send flirts etc. I agree with Alicia, it's legit if your looking for losers, bums, ex cons or emotionally unstable men. I would never in life go back up there. That site is disgusting. Please be very safe. Lol Tinder is the best site for dating.
Answer: You will have to get local police or private investigator involved. Most forensic teams can track the person down by their ip address and other forensic techniques that the public sector isn't aware of.
