Compared to the other sites BlackPeopleMeet.com is better after all. They returned every cent that was owed to me. My previous opinion was made prematurely. I moved on to other sites and was even more disappointed in their ability to connect me with any Black males. So, if you are a Black woman looking for a Black man, my sisters - stay with BlackPeopleMeet.com - you will have more of chance to connect with one. With the other sites, I have had more luck just walking down the street, or through the park.

This site is a scam on the highest level. It amazes me how my inbox is flooded with reviews & messages after I don't renew. Prior to my last renewal I had somehow received over 150 messages. Of course it prompted me to renew just to find out they weren't valid messages. I was stuck once again now for 6 months. It was also amazing after the renewal I may have received 5 to 6 messages in this last 6 months. Once again I didn't renew & miraculously within 24 hours I again have over 20 + messages. Most of the messages were either pic likes or flirts from the same profile. BPM should really shut down this bogus app & get a real platform for the people.

This site regularly discrimates against women as far as what it will allow them to post meanwhile men are allowed to post any and everything. Furthermore, the customer service is VERY poor. The phone number to reach them is *******920, and trying to get a supervisor on the phone is pretty much non-existent. Don't waste your money if you decide to be a paying member. They act like they are paying you instead of the other way around. Go out and meet people the old fashioned way. Online dating is not what it's cracked up to be especially when you have a company that doesn't meet your needs.

The same people are in the matches everyday. I have passed on many guys only to have them back in my matches day after day. The few that I managed to talk to offline were ex-cons and not what they portrayed themselves to be. I see a few profiles with the exact same wording as another. I also noticed that some of the profiles are fake meaning these are stock photos with fake information. This site is worthless. DO NOT waste your time and money!

Joined this site after my voluntary singlehood of 2 years. OMG the men are in constant sexual conquests, full of attempted manipulations, and perversions. It can be entertaining if you have that kind of time.Don't waste too much time or your money unless you want to be entertained or need the constant "your beautiful", "hello gorgeous" etc etc to stroke your ego. But if your not in need of that level of self affirmation. Keep it moving. If your looking for love your best bet, is not this!

I joined bpm on 1-1-2015 and cancelled on jan 2 when I noticed the same guys from 8 months ago were still there and still thirsty. I also saw a profile for a guy a personally know named civili. His whole profile is a lie. Ladies beware. He is a con artist, don't work, have 8 kids that he don't take care of and he have mental issues. If you don't believe then dedicate 3 days of chatting with him and you will see.

They have reverted to serious skullduggery as they "steal money" from you as you click on a plan (say 1 month@ 18.00) and discover you have been billed a different amount (in my case 50.00). I will be reporting this to the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC.

I am positive they are conducting this slice of theft right now and will continue to do so until they are stopped.

Met a lot of Guys... Not worth anything. One guy wanted to have sex on the first date, and when i refused he came right out and said, "That's how this Site works" Sex First Conversation Later... REALLY?
Another guy wanted my measurements before we met in person (that didnt happen).
Another one was a truck driver and wanted me to go out-of-State with him, and possibly be his wife-----I never even met this dude, and he was talking about Marriage.
Here's the kicker, I had some fool tell me that his Mother died suddenly and he need help paying for her funeral, and once again, I never even met these guys in person.

Been searching for a decent online dating site for black folks and came across BlackSingles4u, BlackPeopleMeet, BlackCupid, and BlackPlanet. Decided to create an account on all of them.

Both, BlackSingles4u and BlackPeopleMeet, are excellent. Been using both and can't be more happy. No, no new girl yet but getting there. Was not really happy using BlackCupid and BlackPlanet; don't know why though

This is the most fraudulent dating site! Please don't ever subscribe with your money. Their MO is to collect your money, deny you access and hoping that you do another subscription. I subscribed, setn a verification link, never got verified, and denied access to the site. I complained and they claimed I made an infraction, but they never returned my money, even after writing multiple times. They have done that to other people. I am stilll ooking for the right agency to report them to,

Please be careful on this site. I met someone, became close after a year and a half until he tried to attack me. I turned him in to the police and found out the he uses dating sites to latch on to women in different states, rob their accounts, blackmail them, then abuse them. He spent a year in jail for physical abuse to my son. My son told me after he attacked me for the first time that this nut abused him. Wish I would've known then... he would've been six feet under. Please be careful as the site DOES NOT check credentialing as other paid sites do in some cases.

Seriously? You have site called "black people meet"?! If there was a "white people meet" site, other races would have a field day with the amount of racist responses it would receive! Not to mention they would automatically assume it had something to so with the KKK. This is so not right, especially considering from what I have read so far, this site is just taking people's money and doesn't even offer what they are promoting. If there was an option for zero-stars, that is what I would have chosen. If you are going to have a site like this, at least give what you offer and be politically correct about it and call it "African-American people meet". Black is a color, not a race.

A waist of time! Fake flirts, always trying to get me to boost my profile. Now after I cancelled my automatic renewal, it's all of a sudden telling me I have the wrong password. Right after it automatically hit me for a over priced renew. I bought in at 50% off. I did not authorize a $20 purchase. Now the worst is I've reset my password 3x with an email that said password reset successful. But it still won't let me in. Total rip off. The whole site and purpose of it is a rip off.
