I have to admit, it's been a couple years since I have been on this site. Yes, I agree with the ladies that complain there are a bunch of losers on the site but you're faulting BPM for that? You meet tons of losers on the street, as well as on other sites. Can't fault the dating site for having a bunch of losers.
Well, two years ago, when I was a paying member, a guy sent me a message asking me to call him. I wasn't attracted to him at all and tried to avoid him. The next day he saw me on the site again and asking if I was going to call him or not... what the heck... I did. Boy, I'm glad I did!
I have never dated a man that I love and respect as much as I do him! At the time, I was 42 and have never been married. I had almost given up on finding someone and I was ok with that but I still enjoyed going to dinner with nice guys.
We live about an hour away from each other, we made a date for the next day, Thurs, and he liked me so much he came back the next day. We've been together ever since.

I was on this site for about 7 months, on and off. I got on in February '18. Met a couple of guys for dates. I was selective in who I contacted, and they turned out to be legit. They were people well-employed in the DelMarVa area. I then met one that I dated exclusively for about 4 months, after which we mutually agreed to stop seeing each other. Then, I got back on for a final month in Sept '18. I met four guys in that period. Two were definitely looking for a hook-up on the first date. However, it is up to you as a woman (or man) to let people know that is not going to happen. Some want to continue to see you after you say no. Others will not call again. I did have a lovely time with the guy I dated for 4 months. Got a nice vacation trip out of it. You just have to be selective in who you contact and know that some women have evidently been talking on the phone to guys on this site for a while, and when they meet up, they have sex with them. You can't know someone well enough to have sex with them just because you talked on the phone a few times. Beware.

Just watch out for Carlos R. Smith. He is ex-military, PTSD for sure. He only wants sex, drops the girls after he gets enough and moves on. He is ugly, lives in a funky nasty dirty house in Laurel, MD. Drives a blue pick up truck and works at the State Department. He is originally from Gainesville, FL. He is on facebook. Ladies BEWARE!

If a guy says he is a christian, that is a big red flag. GUYS ON HERE ARE UGLY, MESSING OVER WOMEN, AND ONLY WANT SEX. LADIES, KNOW YOUR WORTH AND GET OFF OF THIS SITE. Same Men over & over they kept telling me that i was the only one with this problem. I asked them why if i blocked 50 men the same 50 men kept reappearing. I would get 28 messages they would only maybe let me see maybe 12. And all of a sudden the other messages would disapear. There where even women showing on my searches and posting likes. Im confused. Everyday no matter changing the state or zip code. It would be back to the same men from 3 weeks ago. And one time i changed the settings and only 5 men popped up really, I couldnt believe it. Even if i change it to whos on line... they would be from way out of town somewhere.and same of the same men again and then even out of all of that. It may only 20 men on line and its 1000's on here. They kept showing me old ugly men, and the men that i did like or respond to me my messages where disappearing. They were blocking them from reaching me. Everytime i called them it was the same thing. Your settings appear to be ok. But there not ok. Its the same men im looking at for 3 weeks. And the men are probably thinking that im looking at them all the time. But im not the sight is not generating as it should. Something is wrong. The men on here are married then you get hurt. Especially when you a true Queen looking for her King. Any woman that thinks her husband is cheating... you will him on here, trust & believe

Back brother can ya spare a dime for ya time., all of their sister, brother and cousin sites are scams. Their practices are truly deceptive and need to stop.

I am not stating that all of the people advertising their singlehood status is false. So if the ocean kissed the sand in your case, kudos to you and yours. And BPM, et.al. Can't control who signs up for their service.

Have you ever noticed the following:
The moment you decide to end the membership, you get several "fake " flirts? Or, the pricing begins to fluctuate.
Close to the holidays, especially Valentines Day, you get fake flirts--and fake messages.
When you receive messages and respond--the responses are computer generated..., and duplicated. When you pay, the end. No more messages.

I posted a similar message instead of my profile--as I got tired of the fakes--my post was deleted several times. These responses are coming from management, or possibly individuals who are paid to "just respond".

I would love to have all of my money returned as the site is fraudulent. A class action lawsuit would work at best.

Added: There are also notes that I reviewed certain profiles, what a lie! I was shocked when i reviewed these people who I never reviewed. Inside job 4 real.

I signed up for 2 months and wasn't very satisfied with the matching system or the availability of new members locally in the Dallas & Ft Worth Metro. The members hardly changed regardless of age group. Most of the views and responses were from members all over the world. If you wanted to meet someone locally; you would get most members in all of Texas or else where. Local members were repeated customers and all they do is view your profile over and over. Very little conversation or communication. Difficult to find real professional applicants or people seeking serious relationship. Just seemed as if most were seeking very little or nothing at all. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. You really pay for what you get. Yes, the membership is cheaper than most; but their is a valid reason. If you have time to waste, go for it! If you seriously seeking something more meaningful, seek else where. Honestly, I would rather pay more and get quality; than pay less and get nothing. There's a saying. "Nothing from nothing, leaves nothing." Peace

I am a male writing about Blackpeoplemeet/Blackchristiansmeet sites. Both are connected. My first time on the site I went for the best price per month deal which require subscriber to purchase multiple months at one time. Once you agree to their terms it's contract - a contract is a contract. Last month, still seeking someone I purchased the slightly higher one month only deal, then several days later went into BPM user profile deleting the "automatic" renewal which I didn't ask for, they just defaulted to it. In this way one can be tricked into an ongoing membership.

Anyway, while I can't talk about the men; many of the woman aren't honest about themselves! Some describe themselves as average - yet 4th or fifth picture into their presentation reveal that they are humongous. Others present themselves as young and vibrant - yet when we talked, several of the woman I discovered are decades older. I've blocked two woman users looking for me to invest $ in their dreams, yet I don't know them. Woman - stop taking selfies and other pictures in the bathroom. Tired of seeing bath towels, toilet bowls, shower curtains, soap and toilet tissue rolls. Also, laying across your bed, breast about to come out of your clothes and Kim Kasdashian poses doesn't make a woman appear like a keeper.

BPM with careful discernment has nice people, always the 'best ones are too far away' or on the other side of the country. :) Finally, I'm done with BPM.

I have to agree with majority of the comments... this site is full of fraud. I wouldn't put any money up but three guys I talked to was AS!&!#LES... UNEDUCATED... ON SSI OR RECOVERING FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE... SMH... NAWWWW KEEP THESE BLACK MEN... IL FIND MINE AT A SUPERMARKET OR GAS STATION... ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

... when I tried this site several years ago; and quite frankly, I'm surprised it's still around. The men aren't the only "undesirables" on this site. There are plenty of women that leave much to be desired as well regardless of how they look or their accomplishments. All that glitters is not gold... not by a longshot, especially in the online dating world. Genuinely good women aren't crude or critical or superfiicial or shallow... and you eventually attract what you essentially are underneath the glitter. If you really don't understand the art of romance, then stop trying to meet romantic men; you don't understand them... and if you're a material status girl who knows the price of everything but doesn't know the value of anything, then stop trying to meet "honest men of character"; you don't deserve them and stop wasting OUR time. If you're a woman who hasn't packed her "baggage" away yet, then don't expect to meet the type of man who has... etc. Etc. So after a couple of months of playing online with "girls" of ALL ages, I met the Woman of my dreams the old fashioned way; just being out and about and catching a REAL vibe from a beautiful REAL woman with a genuine heart and a deep sense of community... but without preconceived judgments, delusions of granduer and superficial notions... or an I-phone stuck to her face. LOL

I was on this site for 1 month. I met someone who lives in the same town as me. Well, i sent them a message to contact me on my cell and a few hours later they called, but i had already gone to bed being that it was 9 FREAKIN 30! Anyways, i called them back the next day and they said "im at work let me call you back" and didnt answer w a "hello" just answered and started talking. How RUDE! So im waiting for this person to call me back its been almost 2 days and nothing. I other negative aspect of this site is how soooo many people on there lie about their income ($50,000-$75,000) annually GET SERIOUS! AND 98% of them claim they are a (NON-SMOKER) LIE! I know so many people who smoke and Ive only seem maybe 3 or 4 people on there claiming they are either a "social smoker" and only found one who was a "daily smoker" These people are so so so FAKE.
