More than once I've received a book in much poorer condition than was listed. Even when I've asked for a new copy, the new book I receive is often still in poorer condition than promised. They'll also sometimes randomly cancel parts of my orders because a book is no longer available, which is incredibly annoying because they'll do it days after my order, at which point I've already waited several days for my book.
The book was sold at a great price and delivered in a timely manner, BUT it was shipped in an envelope that was way to thin and flimsy for this large, heavy, hardback book. Thus the envelope was torn and the spine of the book was also broken and torn at top. See photo where it is taped for now.
Wrong book sent and they could not send correct one. They did credit my account without any problems so that is good and would make me return to purchase more books.
I have ordered products from here a few times now. Always gotten the products and they've been in the condition described on the websites. This time round was a little delayed (prob my due to covid), but the website warned of that so it was expected.
The books dont always arrive together in the same pack if ordering multiple, as they may be in different places, but this time they did. And the first time I ordered I received a note from the previous owner of the book which was really nice.
I recomend this site to my family and always check it first if Im looking for a book. Love the concept of it. Also like the reasonable prices.

Only one time was I disappointed in the numerous times I've ordered. Even then they made it right by following up and eventually receiving the book that had been lost somewhere in transit. I love the great prices and selections of materials offered for my favorite authors and their series. Even a book coming from out of country was received in a timely fashion. I will continue to order from them knowing that I will be getting great service from them!

The website seemed not to be working properly when I was trying to place an order and as a result two copies got placed in my cart of one of the books in my order. I didn't realize it until I'd paid when the format of the receipt clearly showed two copies. I immediately emailed BetterWorldBooks about the problem. Nearly 24 hours went by and I did not get a reply. I emailed again, to no avail. I then got an email telling me one of the other books in my order was not available. I replied to that email informing them yet again about the extra copy I didn't want. Shortly after that I got an email saying my order had shipped and not 5 minutes later I got a reply from BetterWorldBooks saying they were sorry about the problem, but my order had already shipped. Of course, they said, this is no problem because I can return the book--but I have to pay to ship it back (which costs not much less than I paid for the book). Thanks. If they truly can't get back to you by email in time (though the timing seemed awfully convenient for them) they should have a way to cancel or update orders on the website without having to go through this frustration. In addition, one of the books in my order described to be in "good" condition came with about 95% of the pages covered in underlining and notes. They refunded my money, but still... not a great experience.
Recently ordered all of our summer reading books here. All arrived on-time and in great condition. Most were former library books, still in protective "library" coverings.
