I was skeptical at first about ordering from betterworldbooks; however the novel I wanted was only available via amazon and they were getting their book from betterworldboks with an additional surcharge so I decided to go directly to the source. $10.53 ($14.85 CDN) later via PayPal my purchase was made. While waiting for delivery, I tried tracking the package through their website with limited success and thought for sure I had been scammed. Thankfully, about 12 business days later (a feat during the COVID19 pandemic) my book arrived in a tightly sealed packaging slip and in good condition.
I was so happy to be able to find the out of print book I was looking for at Better World Books. It was dispatched quickly and I was advised that it would get to me as soon as the pandemic would allow, so that was fine.

I have been a customer for several years and have never had a bad experience. A few years ago my granddaughter was telling me she wanted to own the entire Harry Potter series. I asked her what books she needed and there was only one so I took out my IPad and in 2 minutes we picked out the book and had it sent to her home from Better World Books. I think it cost less than $5 to make a 10 year old reader very happy. She's 15 now and still loves books. I've spread the word in my book clubs and many of my friends are now avid customers. Sometimes, I look to BWB for hard-to-find books. Sometimes, BWB has a copy or two, but at prices I do not care to meet (I mean, for example, $154.00 for one copy). Sometimes, my search fails entirely - but that doesn't happen often. I am usually able to place an order and get the books I want within a week or two. I am a happy BWB shopper.

There's just one thing I can think of that can improve - the books always come in the mail with a BWB sticker on the spine that is difficult to peel off without leaving sticker residue. I would like to see BWB use stickers that are more easily removed in the future.
