I bought three books on the 1st October 2021 and have still not receives my order after two months two weeks down the line. I say they are a scam because their website does not offer tracking numbers for their orders. And what is the reason for no tracking details and just the order number. How does one go to the Post Office and ask for shipment without a tracking number?
As matters stand now, my status of the books I ordered reflects that I only ordered two books and not three as before. Initially, one book was to have been shipped from USA and others from UK. However, the one from UK does not reflect anymore and its just those from USA.
I still have email communication I had with them as proof to all this. What I don't like about the reviews appearing currently on their website is that they are on their webpage, and not from an independent one. This rings a bell, isn't it?
Was unaware the books were old library books when I ordered, but was not displeased with order regardless. Books were in excellent condition throughout if you don't mind the library stickers on covers or spine. Would order from them again. Books arrived well packaged and in a timely matter. Pleased with service and follow up to insure I had received.

Fast service. Great prices. Extensive selection of books. I downgraded the review to four stars because book quality is good, but not great. I happen to be one of those people who thinks three things should never be abused: books, children, and small animals -- not necessarily in that order. If the quality of the books are too bad, i won't read them. The books from Better World are (fortunately) above that.
I was very much pleased with my order. Sometimes I get interested in one writer, but I don't want to spend a small fortune buying all of his/her past publications. This is a great place to buy books that I intend to read once, and pass on to someone else. Condition of a book is not my main concern, but all ten books I ordered were in very good to excellent condition. Delivery was more prompt than I expected.

Many of the books I have received look like they are brand new. Pages look like they have never been turned. I only like hard back books and have already filled 2 big bookshelf's. Where do I put them now?

I was quite reluctant to purchase a book after reading so many negative reviews, but since my book was only 3 pounds, I thought its worth a try.
I was a bit nervous while waiting for their email saying my book is dispatched, as many people complained about receiving it a month after their purchase (especially since I live in Denmark, and the book would come from the States), but sure enough... 3 days after I ordered the book, the email came. And then came another telling me more about my book and its history, which was quite sweet.
The book just arrived - 10 days after I purchased it and it is in excellent condition. I am surprised a library book is so well-preserved! Yes, one of the corners is a bit folded at the very end, and there is a small library sticker on the side, but other than that it looks brand new!
If you are hesitant to try, maybe purchase a cheaper book like me to see how it all goes.
Everytime i want top find a book i always find an amazing deal on wonderful quality books. My absolute favorite thing though? The email from my books that you get. Don't know what I'm talking about? Order from them. It's the best!

Recently ordered a children's book "Giraffes Can't Dance" and it arrived promptly, was in very good condition for a second hand book and at a very reasonable price. What more could one ask? I've used BWB before and have always been pleased.
I've been waiting my order for more than a month and Better World Books refuses to refund me. They've kept changing the delivery date again and again (I've been choosing them over other seller because of the delivery dates) and ask me to wait until an undefined date to ask for refund. At the end of the day, I've lost 55$ and a lot of time dealing with their consumers' service. Oh, and by the way they were pretty unpleasant with me since they told me that, "[i]f this delivery time did not meet [my] needs, [I was] not obligated to place the order", which is inadmissible as they are unable to give me a delivery date!
I've made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (I'm not the first!) and I hope I could get refund. Nevertheless, I've spent a lot of time demanding that the Internet Order Merchandise Rule be honoured, and time is money.

This book was a gift and was well rec'd by my son this last Christmas. He'd requested this specific book title, and immediately started reading it when it arrived. He told me the book was well-written and easy to understand so I'm happy with this vendor's selection of books. Within these Pandemic times, this was intended to help him understand our current medical crisis.
I love to go on betterworld for bargain books, but not all of their books are as affordable. They give you free shipping which most places does not do plus they do have some used good books that are very affordable. I've got The Great Gatsby for about $4 and Cinder by marissa Meyer for about $4 or $5 both in pretty good condition and super affordable. They both came in about 2 weeks maybe a little less than that. Overall I recommend getting their used good books for an affordable option and some good reads.
This company is a gem that goes unnoticed by most. I have purchased books for years from them and have never had any issues. The books are usually in better condition than listed and always arrive in a reasonable amount of time and at a price that usually can't be beat!
I ordered a wide variety of books from BWB and every one was as described. Some of the materials were on a bit of a delay but given the current situation it seems infinitely reasonable. Will order again!
