Ruined valentines day for me and my wife. I ordered a dozen chocolate strawberries and they were delivered to the wrong address and signed for by someone who doesn't even work at her company. Wasted surprise and excitement for valentines day. Cannot explain in words the amount of dissatisfaction...

Don't bother

I purchased the $49.99 Valentine's day special for my husband 4 days before the delivery date of the 14th. After paying the delivery charge plus taxes, my total was over $75. Upon tracking my order this morning, I was disappointed to discover that my order wouldnt be delivered until the 15th. Now why in the world would I pay all that for a day after surprise. The only thing the operator could tell me was that this was not the usual case... SAD. Just SAD and Pathetic

From a co-workers suggestion, gave this place a try. Something different than flowers or other food related arrangements. Online order process went smooth and received confirmation of order, recipient and delivery address almost immediately. Three days later, received email saying my order was shipped and they provided a tracking number and everything. Two days later, decided to check out delivery status expecting to see my order was out for delivery. I couldn't be more wrong. According to UPS, my delivery address was wrong, and they had to change the delivery address. My wife has worked at this address for 15 years, and I've had numerous things delivered there. On top of that, my order wont be delivered for another day.
Called Shari's Berries, and spoke to their outsourced representative who couldn't understand my needs because I couldn't understand him. Eventually he apologized that my delivery would be a day late and refunded my guaranteed delivery fee. He couldn't tell me where my order would be delivered to, because he confirmed the address and everything to me.
Granted, this next part might be UPS's fault, but after a 10 minute call to them, they refused to tell me where my order was being delivered. They confirmed that they changed the street name and building number, but my order was being delivered to the right city. CHANGED THE ENTIRE STREET NUMBER AND NAME, but refused to tell me where my package was headed. Said Shari's Berries authorized the address change and I would have to speak with them again.
Called my new friend overseas again. 25 minutes on the phone this time. First, told me my order had delivered already, and I asked them to double check. Oops, it wont be delivered until the next day. So sorry sir. "Can you tell me where it will be delivered?" They provided the correct address, but when I said UPS changed the delivery address and said they spoke with someone at their company, they said I was the one who called and changed the delivery.
Long story short, I got a full refund. My order still wont be delivered until tomorrow, but UPS nor Shari's Berries know where its going to be delivered. UPS points the finger at Shari, and Shari points the finger at me. So who ever receives my order, I hope you enjoy them, but reading other reviews from today, I don't think you will.

Quality went WAAAAY down

The last time I got berries from this company was 2012. My delivery arrived today and I was excited! That soon ended when i opened the box. No cooling packs at all, so the berries were room temp. The berries were all scattered around in the box. 4 of the 12 berries were no bigger than a quarter. For the $66 my husband paid for this, I could have gone to my local market, bought ingredients, made them myself AND still had $50 to blow. The quality from 2012 to now is ASTRONOMICALLY DIFFERENT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Terrible

I have ordered from Shari's Berries several times... first mistake is when Shari sold out to Proflowers and overseas company to carry her berry company on. Can't understand the customer service people because all calls are directed over seas... paid $$$$ for shipping to have it delivered for my daughter and still has arrived. ITS THE WORSE! Find a USA based company for your next berry purchase because this company is a sunken ship!

Not as advertised

I received a surprise package of Shari's Berries from my Fiance'. I had seen the commercials and they looked fabulous and so yummy. I opened the box of chocolate covered strawberries to find these small round strawberries. At first I thought that they were chocolate covered cherries. I bit into one and it was soft and had already gone bad. The second and third were still not ripe. 50% of the berry was still white? REALLY? I don't know what my Fiance' paid, but he overpaid and I would never purchase from this company again. I could do better to buy Strawberries at my local supermarket. Melt Hersheys chocolate and make my own chocolate covered strawberries.

Not to sound like an ungrateful $#*! because my husband is awesome and he had no idea what I would end up with but the package I got looked like it had been kicked up and down the street. As others have noted, you have to assemble the flowers in the vase yourself. This is an absolutely horrible idea. How many people are florist? I got roses that were tiny and the wet florist foam that was suppose to be around the stem ends to keep them from wilting was of course completely off and so the roses looked terrible. The strawberries were a total wreck and nothing I could not have made at home, for a hell of a lot cheaper than what my husband paid for them. The flowers were so embarrassing and pitiful in the ridiculously huge vase that they sent that I finally just cut them down and put them in a coffee cup. Buyer beware! You want to give your sweetheart a nice Valentine's or special occasion gift, NEVER order from this fraudulent company. They are the worst!

Ruined my Valentine's

They delivered the day before instead of Valentine's day completely ruining the surprise, The flowers did not look anything like the website, they were small and never opened died immediately, you have to assemble the bouquet, and the dammed strawberries what they are supposed to be famous for, were all melted and crushed on the box, whished I had look for reviews before ordering, I hope people search and read these reviews before ordering so they go out of business and stop scamming people.

Most of these seem to be from buyer's, so as a woman receiving these, let me just say: "DON'T". I have now been the recipient of Shari's Berries 3 times from 2 different boyfriends. They have sucked EVERY time. This last time, they were delivered after hours, so I didn't get them until the following morning & by then, they were drippy and the box had obviously been thrown around. Chocolate covered strawberries are probably my favorite thing on Earth & these are not worth it. Plus all the sprinkles & fancy crap they put on the outside make them totally unappealing to me. Seriously, go the store & buy some real fresh berries & a bag of chocolate chips and make them for $6 & they'll be delicious. Don't buy these.

Missing Berries

Ordered flowers and 12 strawberries. Paid too much. Flowers were delivered but no strawberries. Tried to call... international customer service... said their computers were down. Called back. Got hung up on after waiting 15 mins. Called a third time and got someone that was very very slow and very hard to understand. They ruined Valentines Day. Stay away.

Terrible customer service

I got a call from them saying there was an issue with my order so I called. After saying what after every sentence because I could not understand the man I was told that my information didn't match with billing. When I asked what didn't match he just kept telling me he couldn't give me any information because he couldn't verify my identity. After 20 minutes of his stupidity I hung up. After cooling down I called back and got a woman I couldn't understand but at least she straightened it out. If they didn't call the house and talk to my fiance' I would have cancelled the order all together but since she knew I didn't want to disappoint her. I'll be back to review the product itself after I receive it but as far as customer service, go elsewhere.

Massive hidden charges.

Special delivery charges were applied that I SPECIFICALLY did not request. The exorbitant regular delivery charges were not shown in the order review. And additional ridiculous delivery charges with goofy names were added on top of that. The final price was 2.5 times the advertised cost. I should have come to this review site first!

They would not cancel an order I made that I was over charged on, I had to go to paypal and file a complaint. Poor communication as well. Its not worth it, stay away!

First, the shipping for this was more than I even payed for the Groupon deal--I have been warning everyone about that in advance of Valentine's Day. Then, I scheduled delivery for February 10. The gift shipped on February 8. When my dad did not receive anything on the 10th, I logged in and found that the new estimated delivery date is February 13, with no notification of this change. I am hoping that his Valentine's Day gift is not spoiled? Ruined, what with five days in transit and paying ridiculous delivery fees. This has been an awful experience and I don't think I will EVER use Shari's Berries again and will definitely warn everyone I know to also avoid this company and recommend Edible Arrangements instead.

Shady business practices

Sheri's Berries has the worst moral business practices I've ever encountered - they sent me a coupon in an email and when I went to buy the flowers and strawberries - it magically disappeared and I had to pay the original amount. After reading the reviews I'm not surprised this happened as it seems to be par for the course. I called them to apply back the coupon, which they did. I asked them if this is part of their business plan, to take away the coupon and hope the customer doesn't notice, and she straight up told me yes. So I went to cancel my order, (because why would I give this kind of business money?) and they tell me it takes 1-2 business days to send a cancellation email. Straight BS. I've never had to wait for a confirmation for a cancellation. So I have no proof they are cancelling my order. I will call them back in 1-2 business days when I inevitably do not receive my cancellation email.

Deceitful Company

When I saw a Groupon and a great chase credit card reward for Sheri's Berries, I deciding to order for valentines day. My order amount automatically increased after placing the Groupon code. Then my order almost doubled in price for varies fees and S&H. I ordered which was a mistake. After reading reviews, I was horrified at the pictures and the constant bad reviews across multiple websites. I decided to eat up the $18.00 I paid on Groupon and cancel my order. What made me worry was that I received no cancelation email. I called customer service, and all the reviews were correct. Very hard to hear them and their heavy accent didn't help. What made me feel better that I cancelled was that the rep said he emailed me a confirmation for cancellation four times but I didn't receive any. He placed me on a brief hold than told me that the company doesn't send emails for cancellation. WHY NOT JUST TELL ME THE TRUTH, WHY LIE THAT YOU SENT THE EMAIL?

After buying a groupon coupon and ordering from shari berries, and trying to communicate with people who i could not understand i finally authorized an amout to charge but was actually charges 3 times that amount without my approval. Called my bank right away and charge was wiped out. They tried to steal over 75 dollars in bogus fees not divulged to me. RIP OFF ARTISTS
