I ordered a Mother's Day gift of 12 strawberries. I was charged $68.00 with shipping. I could have done a better job making these myself on a $5 budget. 1/3 of the berries were to be covered with chocolate chips and another 1/3 peanuts. They are practically bare.
Idiots work here! Placed a mother's day order, and a quite pricey one at that (last time)... only to be called multiple times about an "issue" with my order, but they're too busy to answer. Chat function is a joke with an obviously offshore cust svc person. Customer service is an absolute JOKE!
Terrible online ordering, freezes up reprelatively, have to order seperately for each order, no option, to order again. Because of this site I ordered 5 instead of 4 orders, called to report, was on hold for 45 minuite, reported problem when I was able to get a representative, on the middle of sanction the line went dead. Love their strawberries, but that ordering on line needs to be corrected. They also need more staff to handle the phone calls. But they didn't hesitate to take the money out of my account.
I am writing to complain about an order I recently sent to my daughter.
First of all I was told it was delivered on April 29,2020. That was not the case. I had to call customer service and ask them to please fix this. They sent another order on April 30,2020. I am attaching pictures of what my order should have looked like, and what they actually looked like! Big difference!
You should be ashamed to produce this kind of product and deceit.( lying about delivering something that wasn't
I ordered a beautiful tall basket of fruits for a friend. What she received was a measly 3 and a half apples - what a joke. Please see the photos attached for comparison... Zero stars for this service...
I ordered from Shari's Berries a week in advance but it never reached the recipient. When I called to inquire about it, I was on hold for over thirty mins and finally when I was helped they refused to accommodate me and will now deliver two days later than the actual delivery request date. First of all, they are way too expensive and do not provide good customer service. I will not order from Shari's berries ever again. I'd rather give business to more deserving stores.
I ordered a full dozen chocolate covered strawberries and only received 6 strawberries. I wonder how many times this has happened and I was never made aware of because the recipient just assumed I sent half a dozen? I only found out this time because it was for my husband's birthday.
I placed an order and had some issues but the customer service I received via Twitter messaging from *******@1800flowers was so professional and polite and honestly I am blown away! They fixed the issue and I think that this makes them a good company!
I sent an email about my shipment and didn't receive any response. This is what $65 gets you. So disappointed!
Shari's Berries used to be the best! I don't know when they sold to the 1 800 flowers group, but it is not the same. They used to always send the biggest juiciest strawberries via fedex in a cold packed box. Now they rely on local florists. Last time, they didn't call, so they couldn't get in to deliver my daughter's berries. It wasn't until she called them that they brought them the next day. I thought, ok, everybody has a bad day. I'll give them another chance. This time, I placed two orders. I thought it was odd that I never received an email confirmation. A couple of days later, I called. They did have my order and the customer service rep said she would send an email confirm and gave me the order numbers. No email came. A few days after that, they sent me a text asking to call. They informed me that the Easter decorated ones weren't available in her area because they were coming from a local florist. I wasn't happy about that AND there were only a few items I could choose from. The 2nd order was fine and would be fedexed as usual. Ok. Friday comes and neither received their berries. I called the next day and that's when they informed me there were no berries available in either area and I would have to choose something else. I asked if they could get a fruit basket delivered. She said of yes, but we can't get it there until Wednesday. This took at least 40 minutes on the phone to figure all of this out. I finally said to refund my money. She did without a problem, but it Was an Easter gift and a birthday gift! What else could I have delivered same day on a Saturday? NOTHING! I will never buy from any of the many companies they own!
If you enjoy rotten berries, broken, melted and turned upside down then this is the business for you. I have spent five days trying to contact them as they guarantee quality. Nobody answers phone calls nor emails. IM embarrassed to tell the person who sent these to me for a mile stone birthday. Terrible customer service and product.

When i found out that the same day request wasn't going to be honored, i tried to cancel. No way to cancel except to call. Good luck with that!
I ordered a dozen strawberries for my parents for Easter (since COVID-19 is keeping us apart). Here is a picture of what I ordered and what they received. I can't even believe this. Absolutely offensive.
I used (2) $20.00 Groupons provided by a friend to place an order for these obscenely expensive strawberries. Both coupons were applied to my order, until AFTER I clicked the Pay button to make up the difference on my credit card. Then, one of the $20 credits was removed from the paid bill. Shari's charged my card for BOTH the $20 AND the extra balance, twice. Both Goupons were voided in the process. Two calls to the support number for Shari's brought basically a "Sorry, we can't do anything..." So basically, this "gift" from my friend cost $65 for 6 strawberries. A call to the Groupon support number was not of any help either. I would!** STRONGLY **! Suggest you avoid dealing with Shari's Berries and Groupon, unless you like being fleeced. Oh, the berries --- they were all right, if you like paying over $10 per strawberry. I would give these people a minus 10 if that was an option.
Waiting 4 days for my birthday gift from Shari's Berries They lied 3x that "truck is on the way;" 4x that they "rang my [video!] doorbell;" that they "can't cancel it." The people at the call center just pass on the lies and barely intelligible English. I can't remember a worse customer experience. If you want to give a birthday present, try Hickory Farms.
Do NOT order from these people. They have terrible customer service. They are extremely unreliable. They do not care about their customers. They do not care if the berries are late. It took them 3(!) days to delivery berries that i ordered for same day delivery. Don't waste your time or money on these people
I LOVE Shari's berries. I ordered some for my mother's birthday two weeks before the event and was excited for her to get them. Alas! After checking with her late on her special day with no delivery, I called the company. They claim to have never received the order dispute charging my credit card. Love/hate relationship here
I am very disappointed. I was tricked into some passport membership and when I noticed it was charged they would not refund me the full amount so $20 down the drain. I am not sure if they changed their delivery service or something but I used to really enjoy this place. We ordered so many times but this time was bad and the website is all cluttered now. Never again!
This is a horrible company with terrible customer service. Bottom line is do not order anything from this company because it will not be delivered when they say it will and they will lie to you directly.
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
