Company going downhill
September 11, 2019

If Mr Buffet doesn't get a better handle on what's going on at his titanium metal company In Henderson Nv it's going to cost him in the long run. I've never seen a company run the way it is at this facility they make positions for people that really do t have a clue on what's going on at the facility. Mr Steve Hackett just visited the plant last week and they seemed to pull the wool over his eyes. And they wonder why the morale at the job completely sucks. If I was the one looking into this I would really look into this new production coordinator talks a big game but isn't really worth the money you guy pay him. Value your employees instead of the value you put into these guys you leave to run this place!

Can't say enough bad things about them. They rent us a property, make us pay for things that were broke prior to our arrival, then a water pipe goes, say its covered by insurance and we still have to pay $75. They switch a entire payment system, with NO NOTICE, double charging my account so I had $700 locked up for 4 weeks. They said oh, we see about getting you a refund once the funds clear our account, 4 weeks later and no refund check so I just had to use it for the next months rent. And if I didn't see it right away and added extra funds into that account I would have had to pay over $100 in bounced payment fees. By random luck I saw it happen it the day of so I avoided it. Stay Away!

Document EVERYTHING when getting ready to exit from a contract with Pen Fed Berkshire Hathaway. I was charged clean up fee for the attic which contained landlord items. In my 5 years at the residence I never, not one time, stepped foot in the attic. None of the items were mine, as both the landlord and staff of McRae Road knew. Clearly, I had established a relationship with these staff during my 5 year stay. I felt totally abused when they charged me for a clean out fee of that attic. I had done a meticulous job cleaning the rest of the house, the garage, the outside fence and the yard. The place was move in ready. I did call to discuss this concern with the staff on several occasions with no success. This lack of integrity on the part of Pen Fed Berkshire Hathaway staff is appalling.

If you are a salesperson you need to read this! I originally found a Berkshire Hathaway in the valley but lived on the Westside. Due to the drive, I decided to join the Beverly Hills branch. When I went in to sign up, they charged me $2,600.00 but that's not the worst part. The split was 60/40 and the manager was a total n'aire due well since his mom carried the torch into Real Estate. I DID NOT EVEN GET MY OWN OFFICE! Moreover, they never changed my license address with the Real Estate Board to the Beverly Hills address. I asked the manager if I could have a female coach. He said no and put me with a guy. The guy taught me an old method called "farming" where you door knock. It was humiliating and a disgrace. They gave me no training, their office meetings are just a bunch of "fluff" and they will overcharge you. Remember, you are starting your own business so you will be needing: business cards, posters, signs to post for open houses and the like. They will not even give you a lead or let you sit on an open house. If they are treating their agents this way can you imagine what they do to their customers? I completely understand why they have 1.5 stars! They are so unprofessional and haphazard. Warren Buffet? NO THANKS!

What a scam
February 16, 2018

These people only care about themselves. Use to think Warren Buffet was worth listening to but now I've realized hes old and out of date. The fool hates crytpo without even fully understanding it. What a joke.

Bought a double wide and their inspection was a joke. We need thousands of dollars of repairs on things FHA should have kicked in for. Now my baby has no hot water, insulation all fell on the bottom of the house so it's freezing unless we use 2 heaters on top of the furnace, among multiple other issues. I won't ever work with this company again. Steve Katerberg was our realtor. Seemingly nice guy, crook at heart.

Sheila Gschwind is exceptional in all aspects! She is very knowledgeable about market conditions, quick to handle any issues that came up and went above and beyond for myself and my family! We are beyond impressed and grateful for her guidance in both selling and buying. Sheila is professional, thorough, personable and just a fun person to be around. More importantly, She knows her role as an advisor to her customers better than any real estate professional we have ever worked with. She uses a practical approach to positioning the property, supported by detailed facts and a very experienced steady hand. My advice to others that want to attain the highest value for their property, while minimizing the burden to them personally; engage Sheila as your trusted advisor and broker.

We were fortunate enough to be introduced to Andrea Martin by friends of ours in Gainesville, FL. We had already moved to Montana and Andrea took control and had our home listed and sold (closed) within 4 months. Her exceptional advise was more than helpful. If you need a realtor in Alachua County, FL she is the one. Even after the closing she helped us with a problem we had with the buyers

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Steve Smith. I was a first-time homebuyer with very little knowledge about how to find the right place. Steve helped in every way. Such a great person to have throughout the process. Made my process much more easier.

Mary Milewski Connecticut

Her selling approach is unethical, unprofessional, sleazy and anything else one could say bad about an agent's performance. She allowed us to bid and sign contract to buy and then at the 11th hour notified us that she had another offer and would we like to rebid. This development arouse after we had made arrangements to fly from another state to view the property and 10 hours before we were going to to board a plane. Unknown to us she had already removed the listing from Zillow and changed the listing to "pending" before asking us if we wanted to rebid indicating she was lying all along as to the availability of the property since it was already sold. I assume this is not the kind of agent Warren Buffet wants to represent his brand.

I filed a claim with this company after being stabbed at Au Bon Pain bakery by a employee there. I have received nothing but the run-around for over 3 years. Still no response or resolution. They only offered me 5000 dallars which is crazy. Bad company

Mike O'Neil was a horrible agent on the seller side. He let the sellers leave numerous items on our property and promised to have removed and ignored text and phone calls and never came to retrieve. Would highly not recommend to anyone looking to buy a house in Bucks County.

Unwanted Soliciting
October 30, 2019

If I didn't have to give at least one star, I wouldn't give any. We were trying to sell our house By Owner (ourselves). I have had one Berkshire Hathaway agent stop in the day I put the sign in our yard. I've since had 2 more agents call me wanting to list our house. That is a Major Red Flag! Do not solicit my business. If I want your company (or any agent from that company) I'll call you. DO NOT CALL ME! Unprofessional. It's like stalking. Every agent knew all the public details of our property. Would not go with Berkshire Hathaway to list home, too desperate.

I'm so pleased with my realtor, Elizabeth Shaw Fink. She's been working with me tirelessly for more than 3yrs. I finally found the right house thanks to her patience and scouting. She was there from beginning to end and walked me through the whole process. Etc. Thanks from A. C.

I've bought from Lush countless times, and I have never been disappointed in a single product! I love their bubble bars and bath bombs, but the massage bars they offer are also awesome and the scent lingers all day. I always try different bath lines and keep coming back to lush over and over.

Buyer of home
April 21, 2017

Never met the listing agent. The sellers left the home so filthy, food rotting in the refrigerator and mold in the washer from a seat cushion the sellers left behind. No-one checked the appliances most were broken and need to be replaced. Information not disclosed about faulty appliances. Turn over of the house sloppy, keys not working and locks had to be replaced. Rusting bathroom pipes and filth left behind by the sellers render the bathroom showers unusable while awaiting replacements. No broom service the list goes on, basically very unprofessional turn over of an expensive home.

October 3, 2018

Very very difficult to work with. All they want you to do is lower price so low you give your property away. First Agent did not do her job by any stretch of the imagination and lost over 20K from original price after being told to paint and put new carpet. Horrible expertise of a first agent.

I was connected with Berkshire Hathaway homes through Veronica Lawrence. Not only was Veronica very unprofessional but she was none the less just rude. I have screenshots of rude text messages I had received from her(which I choose not to post). Veronica Lawrence showed me and my family that she is not only rude but extremely lazy and tried to make us take a house that would have hurt us in the long run. Oh and not to mention you cannot ask her questions I shouldn't feel like I can't ask something. She is in no way for the client and same goes for Sunwest mortgage company(they will have their own review) please be very vigilant of who you choose to work with, do your research and be an educated buyer because these people will try and take advantage of you. Bad business.

Unethical
November 12, 2021

While in the middle of buying a home, offer was accepted and we were ready to proceed. BH evidently at the last minute and I mean last minute found another buyer that offered more. We were dumped like trash without even being offered to counter offer. If the home says Berkshire Hathaway in the Mandeville, LA area don't even consider buying.
