Well. I went at Bella Collina with my friends and cousins to check out on the golf course and the community itself, with the club, so my friend could see if he will like there to have a wedding. First thing I didn't like was that is too far from the city, so I could only imagine what can happen if we are on a wedding there and try to get to Orlando. When we got there, I saw a lot garbage left on the streets and like no one was caring about it. Then we went to the golf course and to have some fun time playing golf. It was dry and like not taken care of, so you have hard time playing, you are going for the grass or the ball... Well, I think that my friend is still thinking about place, but I am not sure he will do a wedding at Bella Collina. But what most disturbed me, was that I read news about an attempt from Bella Collina to remove a banner supporting the Black Lives Matter!
My friend was the groom in a wedding that took place here in Bella Collina about a year ago. They scammed him with extra charges of "hidden costs" about the wedding. Added costs about the food and service! When he asked them for an explanation why he needs to pay something which he is not aware of, they replied with ruthlessness and rudeness. Is this professional? They took advantage of a young man, that only has been starting his life. I really did not expected that from Bella Collina and I felt so sorry for him. After that, I've read so many reviews about them, people complaining, filing lawsuits, fleeing Bella Collina, unsatisfied with the weddings there... Yesterday I've read they are trying to remove a sign from a family's yard which is supporting the Black Lives Matter... Why such a community, meant to be luxurious and highly professional is doing these things?
I have been at Bella Collina a couple of times and especially to play golf with my friends to their golf course. It really makes you feel the Italian sense there, they did it well about it. But I have seen so much trash there on the streets, broken pavements, broken trees and not cleaned streets. I got the feeling that this community is not managed properly. I found some pictures on the Internet about this community. It looked like it is an abandon place. And it looks like I was right about it. I saw news today about an attempt from the management to move a sign of a homeowner's yard supporting the Black Lives Matter peaceful protesters about George Floyd. I found this really offending! Why would the management want to remove this sign? Why is it that you want removed? This family is supporting maybe the most powerful thing that happened in the latest years. Are you not caring about it?
I had a really unpleasant experience with Bella Collina. We wanted to buy a house here, so we can move to Florida and settle there. So, we went to Bella Collina to look on the houses and see if we will make our minds to buy a house. We had a non pleasant experience with their salesman. Well, the salesman insisted of buying a house which we didn't like it at all, since it was pretty close to other house, like it lacked privacy. We felt someone is pushing us to buy something we don't like really. We immediately decided to just leave the place and not think of buying a house there. I kept thinking, how are you guys even selling property there? Are there even people who buy from you? Is it true that everyone who bought a house there, just left, losing thousands of dollars on investments? The last thing I've read about Bella Collina is that they told the authorities to remove a sign supporting the Black Lives Matter from his yard! From his yard! Why are you doing this at the first place?
I just want to express my outrage experience with you. After I've seen the news about opposing a family to remove a banner from their lawn supporting the Black Lives Matter movement I couldn't feel more angry and pissed. I just want to ask you, why do you want them to remove the banner? I even read somewhere that you sued them for placing the banner! How ridiculous is that? What are you trying to do here? I stand with the Juravin family and their support for us, the protesters of the Black Lives Matter movement!
I don't think Bella Collina is a good neighborhood. There are a lot of complaints against them and they do nothing about them.
Don't do weddings here, don't fall for this trap! My very close friend was a bride in a wedding that took place here, in Bella Collina, about a year ago and so. They picked up this place because it really looked nice and in a way is reminding you of Italy, of Europe, somehow. And they were right about that. But, the wedding happened to be in a small restaurant, making the guests uncomfortable, lacked space and the worst part, there was a swarm of mosquitoes! The service was nice, but the food really lacked taste... I couldn't tell my friend, that the guests were really not having a good time here. I would have been really upset if she found out that their guests feel that way. She is caring much about things going smoothly. The other day I checked the Spa, I wanted to get a facial massage and check the other services there. I was surprised of the cold and not attentive attitude of the employee there. I felt like I did something wrong, really. I never told my friend anyway, I don't want to ruin the memory of her best day in her life. But I was right about this place, when I thought that something is not right. I've read news about this place lately and I was not happy about it. From what I've read, it said that they are not supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and they tried to remove a family's sign supporting it. I hope this is not true...?
This place is popular for wedding venues and spa yet the feedback are all over the internet about how they treat their costumers and charge them with prices up to the roof! I will never forget what happened to me and my best friend. She was very eager to book their wedding at Bella Collina since it was her "dream" venue. I drove her there for an appointment, and guess what? A very long drive and it looks like a deserted place in movies. Right there I am already stressed that this will not be a comfortable drive for the future wedding guests especially the older ones. Then when we got there we had to wait for 30 minutes to meet up with the "right" person, since the staff there seems not to know how to accommodate a person who ALREADY BOOKED FOR AN APPOINTMENT. I am already pissed but my best friend still has her hopes that it will get better. IT DID NOT. Throughout the discussion, my best friend is clearly taken aback on the price range of the wedding but the staff repeatedly says it includes some benefits, club membership, etc. and "that's what it takes to have a wedding in Bella Collina" in a sarcastic way. I know that services are needed to be paid, but it is not just to look down on a person based on what she can and she can't afford. Yes, it is my best friend's dream to have a wonderful wedding but she won't compromise her money for an unjustifiable fees.
Though the site looks good, it hides the truth about the dark history of Bella Collina in Florida. Search "Bella Collina SCAM" or Bella Collina investigated by ABC News. Bella Collina site and management (Randall Greene, Paul Simonson, and Dwight Schar) have been sued for unfair business practices.
Just about three years ago we were thinking of buying a house in Bella Collina. So we went there to just look on the houses, check on them, check on the community and see if something will catch our eyes. It is a lake side community with about 900 homes there. We even took with us a friend which was a real estate agent before, so we will get a professional tip as well. Luckily we didn't manage to buy a house there. And why is that? Their salesman was so pushy and trying to aggressively sell a particular house, which we didn't like, trying to convince us that has everything what we need. The house was so close to the other, you could look at the neighbor's room and see what is it doing. We were also surprised to see that many houses are free, not occupied. Like I said before, we were lucky to not buy a house there and maybe our friend helped us a bit with his experience of pushy and aggressive sellers. So, here we are today, after three years, reading the news and finding that the management is making or trying to remove a banner supporting the "BLM" community from a homeowner's yard. But not just that, it is supporting the peaceful protesters of the "BLM" community and not the ones who use these protests to rob and destroy property. I am a member of "BLM" and I found this oppressing. Why would you like to remove a banner supporting the most powerful movement these days? Do you really know what is this movement about? Or you are simply against the millions of people protesting for the equality of the society? Well, I support this family and encourage them to stand with the banner! We are glad we have supporters everywhere who are against these kind of oppression. This is why this movement exists in the first place!
