Great service to get cash back on what you're already buying! Once the money is payable, transfers are so easy. I'd highly recommend using them. It takes about 8-12 weeks for the rebate to be released. And you can only claim your cash once every 2 weeks with certain forms of payment, but once you know that, it's very worthwhile.
Good service earned cash back made about a year of purchases and got what they promised it is so awesome i recommend using every time you shop just install the extension for google chrome they also give you coupon codes for sites you are shopping on
Too many things don't pay out without requesting intervention. Whenever I spent over 20 dollars somewhere I had to file to get the "reward." Some rewards just disappeared for no reason after first showing up. Their customer service replied quickly, but honestly, it was too much work to track, especially if I spent 20 or more--because those never showed up without extra paperwork submitted.
I like that they give cash back and it is mostly painless, but I have had multiple attempts where I go through their click thru process, yet do not receive credit for my purchase. Then when I submit a request for help, they tell me they don't see the clicks, so they can't do anything. It would be nice if there were some consistency.
Customer service is great-they really work hard to deal with the merchant for any missing cash back. I don't blame BeFrugal if the merchant deny the transaction as you know some merchants are just not honest (HP.com).
All the little ones seem to add up just fine but when I finally was supposed to get nearly $40 back from buying tires online I only got excuses why I didn't get cash back. I only used the sites own internal discounts, no external promo codes, and jumped through the same hoops I had used for years to successfully get small cash back offers, to make sure my shopping trip was activated. Then, when I contacted support, they initially gave me credit, then a few hours later removed/denied only to be a given a generic laundry list of reasons they were denying me. You just can't trust this one.

I don't order a lot of stuff but it sure adds up. Also a great place to find extra coupons. I've always received my cash back even though it took longer in some cases. Didn't think it was hard to use either.
My experience has been almost every cash back purchase requires me to submit a support request to get my money. And then usually the request is denied because of something "I" did incorrectly. (and coincidentally, it usually happens when I'm owed large cash back amounts like 10% from eBags.) I'm pretty sure I know how to use a link to a site! TOTAL BS. I would advise not wasting your time with Be Frugal. (I wish I would have seen some of the other 1 star reviews before I started)
This is a reliable online rebate option that is user-friendly and offers a wide variety of shopping options with coupon codes as well as cash back rebates that will add up to a nice payout that you would otherwise have missed out on. Just don't go too crazy with all of the great deals or you may end up spending more than you anticipated! But hey, using it for things you are already planning to purchase and also for the larger projects, check out what you could save and/or get back as a rebate, you might be surprised!
What they show on their website is complete lie and totally irresponsible in dealing with customers. They just cheat you by showing higher rates of cash back than other sites but once you shop, then you can expect NO CASH BACK in return even your order is qualified under eligible cash back category on their website which is just fraud.
"Retailer does not allow disputes. If an order does not qualify automatically, we are unable to further assist.", is what their response would be. SO better I recommend to go for Ebates than these cheaters.

They seem to pay better than others, but every other one of my orders they did not see your click through history. Thus, you don't get paid. That has been my experience. I've followed up with their customer service and sent them my invoices, etc. But they say "sorry". I'm gonna stick with ebates. They are lower, but they have none of this nonsense.

They will reject high cash back items and put them on hold automatically. After a few weeks of "investigation", they will inform you that your case was denied due to some generic reasons. And they stepped away from the liability by saying the store did not pay them. There is also 3 months delay between your purchase date and they can pay you. Overall, it's not a trustworthy company. There are Rakuten and other companies doing a much better job even though the cash back may look smaller.
I find that starting my on-line shopping through Befrugal "sometimes" allows unexpected rewards! If the end result is not to my satisfaction, then I shop elsewhere. I was happy to see that my cash back amount grew with no real effort. I would have purchased most of these items anyway. Will donate my gift card to a family in need.
BeFrugal seems to always have problems with certifying purchases.
Everytime that I have used them for a significant purchase, it has been rejected.
And there is no recourse - Seller said no - nothing we can do.
Never have this issue with Rakuten.
So, sometimes better to earn a little less than nothing at all.

As explained to me, befrugal makes a single request to the merchant for payment of the cash back
Either it is paid or not responded to
If no response, no follow up mechanism exists... request just sits out there forever
I have some listed as UNDER INVESTIGATION for more than a year, including one that is in excess of $10 cash back
There is no follow up only... we have not heard back from the merchant
I have found ebates to be much more reliable, although payout is less
My niece works for BeFrugal and explained how user friendly the site is. I had never used anything like this before so I was hesitant. I do a lot of online shopping as I would rather avoid the lines of people and limited availability of items. I love the percentages offered in cash back. It's surprising how fast it accumulates. I've been utilizing BeFrugal for a few years now and I'm getting money back on each purchase to use on future purchases. I have suggested the site to my co-workers and friends too.
BeFrugal has only worked on 1/10 of my eBay purchases. Each time, I made purchases of around $1,000-5,000. I made sure that all my purchases were within their valid categories and was careful not use any other coupon codes. When I contacted customer service, they gave the generic response that they cannot look into cash back inquiries for that site. I am thinking they did not want to pay out... I lost a over $400 cash back by choosing BeFrugal over Ebates and not using any of my eBay coupons in the process. I wish they would at least give a clear explanation what went wrong.
I have been shopping through BeFrugal for almost a year and I show funds verified, but not payable or no verification on several shopping trips, therefore nothing at all! I don't know what perks this service is receiving from merchants, but something is not right! So, I am going back to using Rakuten and get Big Fat Check. Rakuten pays less, but they have been efficient over the past few years. Sorry, BeFrugal your service is not playing fair.
Hello! BeFrugal is just an online cash back portal that connects customers to cash back among hundreds of Retailers. Once you make a purchase with a Retailer, it is on them to respond to the Cash Back. We understand where the frustration comes, especially when we are not given an exact time frame, from Retailers on potential approvals and payouts of transactions. Verified means that a Retailer has acknowledged the potential cash back, but they still have yet to approve or make them payable to you. When it becomes Payable, it means that the Retailer has approved and paid out your cash back. That is when you will see it under the Payable state and request a payout. I was saddened when RadioShack filed for bankruptcy and closed most of its stores. Their reorganization is moving along and they have a great website with many parts and the... stuff RS was known for On Sale. The return policy is generous, with them paying the return shipping as well. Though you won't find a lot in some categories, what remains is a great deal when you consider that ordering from AliExpress takes weeks. Get the goods while you can, I don't know if the website is a permanent fixture of the reorganized company. Read more
I love ordering thru befrugal.com. This website is very user friendly and shows discount codes for a huge number of vendors. A big plus is the cash back feature. Doesn't take long for that cash to build up if you like to order online in lieu of fighting the crowds at shopping malls. Very easy to request your cash reward payment.
Do not use. Just like previous review said. Placed several big orders where befrugal has not applied the cash back into my account justifying it by saying that, after a so called investigation, I did not use their coupons and they did not get their commission. Cheaters
