Once again, I would rate this store 3.5. In terms of a website, and as far as my research has shown (Fragrantica, Basenote, etc) they carry authentic fragrances and beauty products. They offer free shipping promotions and a point system that allows you to get discounts after a certain amount (or so I assume). I ordered one fragrance from them and it arrived well packaged, not broken along with free samples. However, I have somewhat mixed feelings about the actual product. While it is authentic, it smelled somewhat different from the testers I've tried at department stores. This could be due to storage conditions or the fact that it's a bit old and thus the more ephemeral components have "turned", leaving the more stable components. This isn't a huge deal but the experience itself is changed. I ended up keeping the fragrance and did not pursue their return policy but I would be cautious.

BUYER BEWARE! I paid extra for shipping to guarantee my product arrives here by the 23rd, it's a Christmas gift. Checked tracking, it's arriving on the 26th, so basically useless to me at this point. I called and they tried to say I didn't pay extra, when I'm looking at the added cost in my email confirmation! They did nothing to correct the situation. So now I'm out the money until this arrives and I send it back to get refunded, have to go in my pocket to purchase elsewhere which I should've done in the first place! Save yourself the time and aggravation and choose to shop elsewhere!

I bought 10 Tommy Hilfiger antiperspirant deo sticks 70 ml from Beauty Encounter. And they are all too old because when I try screw/turn the lower part of the plastic tube in order to "push up" the deo stick so that I can use it nothing happens. All 10 of them. OK, I bought the sticks 5-6 months ago and still not started to use them until now. But I really thought they should work and lasts longer if they are not opened! And also some of them have became pink (the white deo stick) so they are obviously too old. When I wrote to Beauty Encounter about this the only answer was that I have had them more then 48 hours before I complained. It was a standard notice the covered many different type of claims. They not even bothered to write an personal answer. So obviously we need to open the cosmetics we buy from them asap after order for checking that they are working as they should. If I knew this before I would never buy anything from Beauty Encounter at all. First of all they have old, outdated products and second they don´t even want to talk about it with me even if they not work.
