10% real women, the rest fake profiles showing up on different be2 sites with different names and characters. So easy to identify. Be2 is cheeting money from people believing they are messing with a man or woman. It's a hired chatt operator who fools you.
If I could I would through Be2 to hell where it belongs. $#*! YOU BE2 AND ALL YOUR EMPLOYEES!
DISGRACEFUL. I have browsed dating sites before but never joined. I checked on line, be2 was rated in the top 10. Sounds ok right? I am ready to jump in. I should have checked further to see if you can buy your ad and place it in the top 10, because this site is an ABSOLUTE FRAUD. After I joined things got strange. I kept getting matches with broken English in their messages yet showing that they hold master or doctorate degrees in the profiles. Hmm ok maybe English is a second language for them. 2nd red flag - I received numerous messages with detailed flattering comments on my looks and personality. Information that I did not provide. Finally the same messages were cut and pasted but with different profile names. Come on, If you are going to SCAM at least be clever about it. I have only been a member for 3 weeks so I haven't even had to deal with the automatic renewal B. S. This site should be shut down. People - Do Not Waste Your Time or Money On This One!
Ladies beware... this so called dating site is truly dreadful. Within 48 hours I was getting spammed... alot. Even worse, the site is full of bogus guys who send you mail (stolen picture, profile etc etc) claiming to be doctors, IT specialists... you name it. They ask for your personal email address early on - do NOT give this out. After 2-3 they are pretty easy to spot. English is very bad (but they all have masters degrees...) and they trip up on questions to do with their profile
I tried to cancel my membership and be2 made it incredibly difficult to cancel... they are just after your paypal or credit card details
Keep OFF THIS SITE...
I sent them their stupid cancellation letter which they apparently didn't receive. By the time I noticed they tried to charge my credit card, it was two months later! No letter was sent, nothing. Fortunately, the $133 euro they tried taking out wasn't in there and I had my card cancelled as Visa thought it was suspicious. They are still trying to take the money! I hadn't even filled out the profile! I joined as a means to make money through task work, signing up at be2 was one of the tasks.
They will not get a cent from me!
Fake profiles: same pictures with different names. Same bio under different photo's. They say you can get a membership for 7,95 euros a month during 6 months. But the payment is 191,76 for 6 months.
This site do not have any contact numbers. If you wish to cancel your subscription you have to write to them but they do not provide an address. They are based in Luxemburg. If you delete your profile you can not ever then log back in to cancel your subscription. You can not cancel you subscription without a code. They send this and then there is no where on the site to enter a code. I have looked up complaints on other sites and they apparently take a further £149.99 for 6 months if you can not cancel within 14 days. They make this impossible to do within the time scale by providing dead end cancellation details. You have to cancel you bank card in order to get rid of them.
Firstly the advert that got my attention was false. It was showing me pictures of possible match's from my hometown. When i clicked on there pics, nothing. I tried many times.
The site also cleverly advertised there were many pictures and profiles for me to choose from. Again untrue, i was sent a few that the site thought i would like, It sent me profiles outside the specifics i requested and when I'd had enough i tried to cancel it and guess what? I couldn't. I then emailed be2. After 2 days i was emailed back with a phone number. I phoned got cut off. I phoned again and got through to a customer service rep called Gary. From the start he spoke over me and was defensive about anything i said. I did bring this to his attention, i do hope the call was recorded and they use if for future training on what not to do!
This site is the worse site i have tried, in my opinion, if your searching for just anyone then yes this is the site for you.
The sign of a good dating site is easy to join, inexpensive and easy to leave. Be2 is easy to join, but difficult to leave and expensive. When you join without paying you will get loads of emails to start with. As soon as you become a premium member you will find the mails dry up straight away. When you try and leave you will find no option to click and de-active. No they want signed and in writing, I had to write to them, scan it and email it to them. This site is all about making money, and raiding your debit card. AVOID!
Yes I have a question relating to the AREA section of my profile. Port Macquarie was my closest city according to you... But my closest cit is Coffs Harbour and I only want selections from that area... not Sydney or Perth for example Maybe your staff should look more closely at the choices give to us Australians
I sign up and stay less than 14 days. I requested to cancel and give me a refund but they refused. DO NOT CREATE AND ACCOUNT AND PAY SUBCRIPTION!. I have been super disappointed and I want my MONEY BACK!
Rip off company! Even after 6 months cancelation they would withdraw the money from your bank accountI have sent them a several times an email asking to cancel my membership, however they keep taking money absolutely inappropriate unprofessional behaviorlow profile robbery
Exactly the same as many others. I tried to cancel and after a frustrating day trying to cancel online i was fordced to wait for access to a printer and fax which meantit was 6 days before my renewal date. 14 days after cancelling they robbed me of 149 pounds. I am asking my bank for a charge back but they say i need to contact them again after 14 days
Pretty quickly learn that the company is just set up to make cash and the people are not real! Impossible to get money back without threatening them. Awful site!
COMPLETE FRAUDSTERS! STEER CLEAR!
I tried to register my details and card details for the purposes of gaining some perks on a MMORPG website.
When I tried to register my card details, which I was told would be free for the first 10 days, all attempts failed and I was told that the transaction could not be completed.
This morning I got a phone call from my bank saying they had tried to put through 5 transactions, each for £89.50 from varying locations around the world; Luxembourg, Ireland, Canada, Switzerland & London.
Please, please heed this warning because this site is nothing but a fraudulant site designed to steal your hard earned money.
Now I have to explain to the bank that they have been trying to steal my money under the guise of a "Free Trial".
I feel like an idiot. Save yourself the same pain.
I wrote to this company to cancel my subscription in 2008... in 2010 they debited my credit card... then denied that I had ever cancelled my subscription. Steer clear absolutely disgraceful site.
I signed up with them on 12 September 2010, and tried to cancel on 6 October 2010.
They are due to take £149.94 from my credit card this week on Tuesday or Wednesday. I have been arguing with them not to do so, but they say that my contract will now run until April 2011, because they did not get 14 days notice of my intention to cancel.
After Googling the multitude of complaints - and having re-read the correspondence that I had with them last week - I decided to err on the side of caution and speak to my credit card provider tonight. My original intention was to wait until it was processed and then challenge it as fraud. Anyway, my provider has cancelled the card and has assured me that nothing can go through after tonight.
I am sure the bloodsuckers will start threatening me, but it will be to no avail. They do not scare me. It is a harsh lesson to learn, but I will now be very wary about who gets my credit card details in the future.
Good luck to all of you fighting against Be2. I feel for you. This company really should be forced to insert an opt-out/opt-in choice on their website, rather than just opt you in for 6 months. If this is allowed under Luxembourg law it is crazy. Presumably it it not acceptable under European law as a whole though, but we will have to wait for a test case
I can see that there are many people who had bad experience with this site but I can't see almost anyone with good one. I had the good customer experience with be2.co.uk. I didn't think that I had to write somewhere about it, but as I know it is unfair to the site if reviews are written only by unsatisfied customers, so I decided to put reputation of this site a little bit into balance.
I joined this site one year ago because I was tired of meeting the same girls in my area. I wanted to find something different as it was around me. I filled up personality test which was first step I had to do, afterwards I got so many partner recommendations - I was really surprised and curious to get to know them all. I found out that I had to pay as almost on every site and amount I had to pay was bit higher but I tried it. After months of dating, I'm now with the best girl I've ever met. Not to forget to mention that we live together and have a fabulour relationship.
Also, cancellation aftewards was a bit hassle, but we both made it withou issues.
DO NOT AT ANY COST JOIN THIS SITE OR GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS!
This site is an outright fraud, pure and simple (I would give them negative stars - little lumps of turd, perhaps, if it were possible). The 'contacts' they send you (you are not allowed to browse through potential partners) are mostly phony, the whole thing is controlled by the company, and is totally bogus.
More importantly, however, it is almost impossible to cancel the expensive 3-months in advance payments once you have signed up. The online cancellation pages do not work, and the other (onerous) procedures for cancellation are simply ignored - and the payments keep getting taken. You can read elsewhere online how, if you change your credit card details in order to stop the payments, then the company threatens you with the debt collectors.
BE AWARE THAT THIS IS NOTHING BUT A CRIMINAL SCAMMING RACKET - WHICH THE AUTHORITIES IN LICHTENSTEIN, WHERE THE COMPANY IS CONVENIENTLY REGISTERED FOR AVOIDANCE OF REGULATION, SHOULD SHUT DOWN AND PROSECUTE.
DO NOT TOUCH THIS SITE. ITS A SCAM! They make it impossible for you to cancel your subscription and rob you blind.
Answer: I also tend to think that it's scaremongering. I always knew it was a scam site. I understood it when I found a worthy and authentic dating site http://J4Bride.com Where I met my love, only then I realized how horrible and fraudulent Be2 was. But I didn't expect Be2 to have gone that far. They are trying to bully their users! Don't panic and don't pay them anything!
Answer: Company and scam, they took money from me for all yer and iam not with them
