When it comes to the positioning of the zipper on our older model of Baerskin Hoodie which you received, we can confirm that this was, in fact, an intended feature of our product. This particularity occurred simply because our hoodie was designed in Europe. The positioning of the zipper on the left side is a marker of all European men's clothing designs.

Please rest assured that this feature is neither a manufacturing defect nor an indication of the fact that the hoodie had been created for a specific gender group. We apologize for the confusion.

We are happy to inform you that the new Baerskin Tactical Hoodie 3.0 has improved features regarding the cut and an American-style zipper on the right side. Check our offer on the website, we would be very glad if you give this latest version a chance.

We recently launched two waterproof Baerskin products - the Softshell Jacket, which is made of waterproof material on the outside and is lined with fleece on the inside, and in that sense looks more like a Baerskin Tactical Hoodie, but with additional waterproofing.

We also launched the Baerskin Rainjacket, which is made of a thinner but waterproof material and is designed to be worn as a cover over the Baerskin Tactical Hoodie, among other things. With that combination, you get resistance to wind and water at the same time, but also the necessary warmth. It's a fleece hoodie, great for outdoors as it provides effective protection from wind - full-length storm flap, elastic waist & velcro cuff, wind-blocking elastic hood with bungee cord, extended back length - this all provides an extra dose of warmth.

The Baerskin Hoodie is made of anti-pill fleece that will not incur pilling. In comparison with traditional fleece which develops little bubbles after the first few wears, making the product look old, worn, cheap & tacky; the anti-pill fleece is of better quality and ensures longer-lasting.

On the other hand, I'm sorry to hear that the Baerskin Tactical Hoodie you received did not meet your expectations in terms of the design of the hood.

Let me just kindly remind you that the hood has adjustable toggles which allow the wearer to draw it closer to the face to prevent cold or wind from gushing through. The hood is also designed to be able to wear it over a helmet if necessary, which is useful for some of our customers who enjoy cycling or hiking.
