I love it! Here in Oregon we often get light drizzle that this hoodie handles well. And if it rains harder, there's the back pocket for a true rain shell. The feel of it is great on our damp, chilly days. Highly recommended!

After my purchase which was probably 12 months ago I was concerned that the front zipper was not fitted properly, it was tricky to connect and start and still is to a point but at least i know the knack now.
I did email the company to let them know I was concerned but living in southern part of Australia and winter coming I decided to persist and I am happy to say although still stiff to start the jacket is probably my warmest top that i own and the over sized hood is a bonus.

Baerskin Hoodie features a 2-way zip that is designed to open from the bottom of the zip as well as from the top. This type of zip adds extra breathability and better temperature control, as well as easier access to internal pockets.

Hoodie is outstanding in every way.
Online purchasing is cumbersome and disjointed, Ordered 3 hoodies in 2023 and all were of excellent quality and fit. Shipping time is excessive but only a very slight frustration. A major problem is no clear way to order a hoodie and send as gift to an address other than your billing address. See below for details.

I will start off by saying I live in the PNW and spend the Xmas/New Years week in Victoria BC most years. Once the weather turns enough to where I feel I need a protective layer, it's my BAERSkin 80% of the time. It's breathable enough at 55 degrees that walking about, feel warm and cozy. As I'm writing this I'm in Victoria (such a walkable city) just returned from a casual stroll and it's 44 degrees out and felt completely warm. I've worn it out in the snow and a light rain, keeps the dampness off. All in all love my BAERSkin, would definitely buy again. Enjoy it so much purchases one for my son.

The Baerskin Hoodie is made of anti-pill fleece that will not incur pilling. In comparison with traditional fleece which develops little bubbles after the first few wears, making the product look old, worn, cheap & tacky; the anti-pill fleece is of better quality and ensures longer-lasting.

The hoodie is very warm and keeps the cold out very well.it is comfortable to wear.and has enough pockets for me. The only bad point for me was the size of the hood I know it was made for a helmet to be worn but a lot of buyers have no need of this I found all that extra head covering an inconvenience. This is a good product, especially for the price.
I like the abundance of pockets.
I don't use the hoodie part very much because it covers my eyes, but its there to use if its cold and windy. I was confused by the main zipper - while most (if not all) US coats with zippers, zip using the pull on the right side, this hoodie zips from the left. I've gotten used to this after months, but, it was odd to start with.

We recently launched two waterproof Baerskin products - the Softshell Jacket, which is made of waterproof material on the outside and is lined with fleece on the inside, and in that sense looks more like a Baerskin Tactical Hoodie, but with additional waterproofing.
We also launched the Baerskin Rainjacket, which is made of a thinner but waterproof material and is designed to be worn as a cover over the Baerskin Tactical Hoodie, among other things. With that combination, you get resistance to wind and water at the same time, but also the necessary warmth. I found that the windproof capacity is not as described. Also the hood is too flimsy and floppy. It's not as described and it will only be used indoors because of it's average to poor quality.

Overall great customer. The sizing is off. I ordered a women X-Large as that's my normal size but when I received the jacket it was very oversized and uncomfortable to wear. Reorder one size smaller which arrive in 10 days, fit was great but found the sleeve were shorter than I liked. Haven't really worn for that reason as gloves/mitts are the only thing that will cover the gap. It's a three season jacket not really good in cold weather. Good for inside a car during winter.

It's an over sized fleece jacket with a lot of pockets. No wind protection, not warm at all, can not get wet or will loose any insulating factor it might have had. Honestly buying a cheep hoodie will keep you warmer and protected better than this will.
