I have just come back from Tenerife but when I want to chat to one of my UK friends it won't allow me to. Well I send a message I get no response from them which makes me think something is wrong. The problem has been resolved thank you.
A google search for "Badoo help" brings three results for Badoo's help site and they are all non-functional. No information is listed and the input toolbar yields no returns. Secondarily, I suggest a "Check out" button when a profile has pictures, and have the "Like" button available when there is a reasonable amount of information displayed (i. E. interests, bio, thoughts...).
The chat 'function' is ambiguous and usually unavailable. Lastly, the option to change what I'm there for as well as the age range is non-existent in the profile options.
Like much in the world, Badoo has potential, but it is currently failing.
Had been using the site for a few months and decided to buy a few credits to send more messages. Was offered a 180 day premium membership for £14.99 so decided to go for it. Was then charged £86.99. Went to PayPal to try and resolve the issue cancel the transaction or at least cancel the repeat payment agreement. Found my enhanced membership had been rescinded on doing this. No response from Badoo. So have in effect been charged £86.99 for a one day membership. They basically want the right to keep on ripping you off indefinitely. Absolutely disgusting practices from a so called reputable dating site. Would go for the free service if you want to be inundated with Tai Women looking to come to the UK but other than that steer clear and most certainly do not give them a penny. Would give them a Zero star review if that was an option
You can't send messages unless you pay for "credits" and a lot of the times people either don't reply OR they're mad far from where you are. If you're lucky enough to get a reply, most likely the conversation will die out soon due to lack of vocal communication or they are lame a** bit**es. Sorry not sorry

This is an absolutely dodgy site. It will fool you to paying money. Full of fake users. Fake locations. Bots. They use fake profiles to show that there are a large user base, absolutely rubbish site.

This is a bogus dating site. They steal information and sell on to others. The site is full of dodgy people. Surely many of them would be spies. This site encourages to change location and fake profile photos.
Reading through other comments on Sitejabber, there are not a single good comment about Badoo which makes me think that I am not wrong.

I hate this app! It costs so much money! It costs like 200 credits to say to someone that doesn't even reply back! You always have to top up your credits to initiate the conversations! It's a huge scam and a waste of time and money! Stay away!

This site is full of ghetto men where most of them have nothing going for themselves, are unattractive, and like to prey off women who actually have something going for themselves. I've known two black guys on the site who have two or more children by different women who are just looking to trap & knock women up then leave. I realized and got away from all that in time.
Please refund back my $50(Singapore Dollar) as i didn't subscribed for premium. I've just checked my e-mail and poof, it says i'm a premium member now. WTH?! I did not do such thing... please get back to me as i want a refund and i really need the cash... and the Badoo has get back to me about the same crap of non-refundable policy that everyone that has my problem gets...

Do not give any bank details to this thieves. I have paid £ 2.09 for 1 day badoo premium and they are charging me every day. I stopped my badoo premium, but this amount is keep going out of my account. I sent them email and the answer was this account doesn't exist anymore. I have contacted my bank and they made a block, so if they charge me again from different accounts I can take a legal action. Avoid any payments!

Badoo does not work properly! They only matched me with people far away and they tell me its my fault. All my settings are correctly set. Since I am so dissatisfied I asked for a refund and are they giving me the run around. They are just quoting their terms, and hiding behind automated messages. There are many far better dating apps! Steer clear of Badoo at all costs!

That's why you might see users from other places from time to time. However, these users usually aren't too far away and our super cleaver algorithm calculates that they're in travelling distance.
Remember, you can also use 'People Nearby' so look for users specifically in an area that you chose!
In regards to your payments, it's entirely up to you whether you chose to purchase any premium services on Badoo, however, this will not effect your matching as this is based on your swipe activity and therefore can't be considered as due reason for a refund of your purchased service. However, Badoo Premium and Credits do give you access to some amazing features so go and check them all out!

Be careful of this website. Many of the members are scammers. Nigerian scammers. They use Caucasian pictures and English name to set their profile. Because they don't want you to know their true color. I've been to this site for only 2 weeks, got lots of messages. But I found out quickly before got sucked into their scam. They always want to know your email address, they are SO fake you can even smell the rat in them. If it continued, the next thing they want is for you to send money to them... It's all about making money out of you.
Badoo is officially called Social Network or Online Community but I'd rather call it a dating site! IMO it is pretty awesome. But one of the issues I faced using Badoo was the amount of fake profiles. Yeah, there are a lot of em. I mean really a lot. It is a pain in the $#*! to sort them out. If u don't have time and patience to do so, I suggest u to use a premium dating site like Mingle2day, Match, and so on. Badoo is great for a fun chat but don't expect to actually meet someone. It rather takes lots of time and patience.

I cannot believe how many BS people and profiles are here. Badoo is AWFUL! It should be shut down. It's a vehicle for scammers and fake profiles. I am such an idiot for believing there might be someone here I would like to meet. So far, about 10 people think I'm incredible handsome yet there are in Ghana. Really? Been with this site for a while and like most have ok vibes buy never really had a great view of this site. Seems to have some of the near or close by but only lists a few of the ones closer around rather have those that pop up over 200 km away

It is a fraud app. It will keep charging you after you give them your account information. I didn't add three months subscription. They added it secretly. I found it out one month later. And I can't get my refund back. 100% scam

I had sent messages to women who I had alleged to have matched. Not one reply, I even asked a couple to just say not interested to prove they where not fake profiles and guess what no reply! The way the site wants to get its hands on you money is very impressive. I was told to do online dating but it seems dating sites are just after your money.
