They will push you to invest, let you know that you are winning, after that they don't let you withdraw any money, and will change a trade as if you made a mistake, finally they will block your account, i fell for it and lost so much to them, luckily got news of TroanLTD. COM where i also reached out to and i got my money back through them
This firm conned me out of thirty thousand dollars, but fortunately, torrēcit. Com helped me get my money back.
Back Market sold me a so-called Premium iPhone 13 mini, which arrived with a defective proximity sensor. Since I was traveling, I couldn't return it in time — and their support team told me to get it repaired locally and send the invoice for reimbursement. I did exactly that. A few months later, the phone is having more issues: the microphone cuts out, and the camera makes strange clicking sounds. When I reached out, they told me my warranty was void — because I had the phone repaired (as they suggested). This is incredibly dishonest. I followed their instructions in good faith, and now they're using it as an excuse to avoid taking responsibility. Don't rely on their warranty. Don't believe the "Premium" label. This has been the worst customer service I've received in years.
I received an iPad from Tekhouz through backmarket. The device arrived with the screen lifted off of the base of the device. Initially it was relatively small, so I did not return the device, but over the next several weeks it delaminated further and performance of the device was effected. Eventually the screen began cracking. Tekhouze insisted that we dropped the device which then became delaminated, which was not true. Despite purchasing the extended warranty through back market they insisted the damage was not covered. So I had to eat the cost of the device with no resolution. I highly advise not purchasing devices from back market or tekhouz.
Here my experience.
I bought s20 5g from here.
But it was broken only 3 month and I sent it back to them.
But they said it is my fault so they told me they can't fix it.
And I got it back but they made my phone like used one. I sent it with clean and clear but they sent it back used someone's. Back cover painting off, many scratches and with bonding and taping exposure. It wss Not mine.
When I got it, I tried to talk with them several times but all the time they said like, it is your fault. That's all.
I don't understand at all.
Okay I understand with my fault.
But why they bring it back with broken one?
Don't buy anything from here.
No one take this responsibility from backmarket.
They just say it is your fault.
But I didn't send you like this broken one.
They have to take a responsibility about this situation!
I never back to them.
Abysmal. Avoid, avoid, avoid. They've sold me a phone with a dodgy battery which is in warranty and they've tried to claim that I've damaged the phone and are refusing to honour the warranty. They referenced a "scratched LCD" screen as evidence of damage which has really, really annoyed me as I raised this issue when the phone was delivered and they told me it still met the "good" category because the Samsung Flip has an inbuilt protector which meant the screen is fine. There's also a tiny, superficial scratch to the phone hinge caused by the faulty spring in the knuckle of a foldable phone protector casing - not caused by 'accidental impact'. If there was accidental impact there'd be more damage than a single miniscule scratch. For good measure the screen protector holding strip wasn't properly attached either. Specifically it's Cov Tech Ltd for are also to blame. Absolutely shocking experience and I regret using Back Market.
I would not recommend BackMarket at all. I even feel they could be operating a scam. I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S23+, which has a 6.6-inch screen. I also selected a storage of 256GB, all shown on my invoice. However what I have received is a Samsung S23 base model with 6.1 inch screen. Checking further, the phone also only has 128GB storage! The IMEI number (which matches between the order details and phone information) show it is an S23 and not a plus. Clearly there is a significant price difference between what I ordered and what I have received.
To resolve this, they have offered me a partial refund for me to keep the incorrect phone, which would leave me paying more than what's available on their website for a phone I didn't even choose.
Their replies are forceful in pushing me to accept such a ridiculous offer. Illogical and bad customer service. Leaves me to question if I was purposely sent a cheaper incorrect item, hoping I wouldn't notice to make an increased profit...
Bought an iPhone 11 pro. Used for 2 weeks, the microphone stopped working. I had paid for 2 years warranty and the seller refused to fix it. Scammed out of warranty money.
I ordered a 2019 macbook air and paid an extra $200 for it to be in "excellent condition" I at least expected it to be lightly used with a couple scratches.some sides are chipped and the rubber lining on the screen looks like it's been melting + it runs slow if you have 2 or more applications open which is very annoying.sometimes it is just slow with no applications open at all. They obviously don't look at whether you ordered it "fair" or "excellent" it's just a matter of luck. They also probably use the cheapest possible parts to refurbish it because I doubt any other 2019 mac air actually runs ridiculously slow. I only have a decent amount of applications and files.
I have used Backmarket twice for refurbished products. Both times I had a terrible experience and strongly suggest they are avoided. Backmarket are a marketplace, so do not sell these products themselves. They instead are a collective of independent third party sellers and there is no verification as to the trustworthiness of anyone you are buying from. I bought a phone which became faulty - on sending it bavk to the seller for repair in warranty period, they damaged the screen on the phone and despite photo evidence of this, neither they nor Backmarket are doing anything about it. The customer service is poor and don't seem to grasp what you ask and tell them. Also they forced me to send my ID to them, although they had no need for it and couldn't tell me why they needed it aside from "it's an algorithm on the system".
I'd also purchased a PS5 from them which never worked. I returned it for repair and on return it still never worked, and they still tried to claim it had been repaired. At least this time I got a refund.
The sellers you are buying from could be absolutely anyone, and some are clearly selling faulty goods and are untrustworthy. Despite their claims, Backmarket do not have your bank. They put all their trust in the seller, try to avoid providing information to customers, and just seem concerned with making money. Avoid at all costs
I sent item back but they not refunding my money nearly a month, i bough the item it not good, not working not advising to buy, they sked to send back but still no refund i want my money back not refunding i will make calim
I recently purchased a phone from Back Market and paid $15 extra for expedited delivery. At the time of purchase, Back Market promised a delivery date of 9/28. However, my order did not arrive until 10/1. I reached out to customer service for a refund of the expedited delivery fee, as the service clearly did not meet the promised timeline. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they deflected by stating it was based on 'business days,' even though the delivery date was explicitly shown at the time of purchase. This kind of misleading representation and refusal to resolve a legitimate issue is unacceptable. I want to warn other potential customers about this and advise them to be wary of Back Market's delivery promises and customer service. #BackMarket
My cell phone arrived damaged, and then I had to drive the item 26 miles round trip to send it back. Waste of my time, and gas BUYER BEWARE Back Market wants pics, etc and who knows when I will get my money back. I might have to file charges thru my bank if not refunded quickly They know how to take your money, but don't seem to know how to return it
Do NOT purchase an item from this company. They do not stand by their product and will Gaslight you. I purchased a refurbished Iphone. Within two weeks the phone's screen cracked at pressure points while inside my pocket. I did not drop and I had a case on it. I should have suspected something when the phone alerted me that the device did not have Apple-approved parts. I returned the device. The support team, asserted that they were not the seller of the product. That was someone else. Nowhere did I see when purchasing the phone that Back Market was not the seller. When I pointed this out to BM I received this quote:
"Thank you so much for your support and cooperation! I completely understand your concerns, and I truly apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused. I genuinely want to assist you, and I've done everything I can to help. "
After further communication, the same Gaslighting occurred. Until BM told me that they would not refund me for selling a defective device. I have had iphone's for years, and not once has the screen cracked in this manner.
Do yourself a favor, purchase from Amazon or Walmart. They stand by products that they sell. BM does not.
I have used them many times, but this is the first time I traded in a I phone. Buyer beware, if you want to get your money for your trade in they require you give them your Bank routing number, account number, Drivers ID and last 4 of your social security number instead of crediting back my credit card which I used to by the new phone. They give this info to the company that that took my trade. Who in their right mind would give a 3rd party your bank information, SS# and drivers license.Who knows where it ends up and I could lose my Bank money or they sell it off to scammers. Last time I used Black Market, can not trust them now.
Back Market is a scam! I ordered an iPhone 15 and received it but it didn't work with my carrier. I requested a refund. I sent the iPhone 15 back in the same package that it was sent to me in. I placed the label on top and took it to UPS. About a week later I received a message from Back market asking if I forgot to place the iPhone in the package. I was shocked! Of course I didn't send an empty box out. BackMarket is claiming I sent an empty package back without the iPhone 15 and now they are not issuing me a refund. I have no iPhone and no refund. Its been over a month. They have asked me to upload documents such as my ID about 5 different times. Back Market asked me for my ID, passport, bank statement and utilities bill for my address verification. I submitted all of it immediately. Then they asked for it again! I submitted it again. Now Back Market recently said my account is closed because of suspicious activity. I called them and tried to talk to a supervisor. The agent asked for my information and then said he would transfer me. After pulling up my information he then said a superior is not an option and I would have to send the company an email. Of course I was very upset and demanded a resolution. He again told me to send my concerns to the email. I'm shocked and applaud at how my situation is being handled. My next step will be going to the BBB and my bank for disputes. I have never dealt with such a terrible company. It's been over a month now and BackMarket has no answers for me except they are looking into my situation and will resolve it quickly. That is a load of BS.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company! If your order gets lost in the mail you are $#*! out of luck. They do not take care of their customers.
Worst company and customer service I have ever dealt with!
If you have a problems with them, and it can't be resolved on line, ur out of luck. As the offer no customer services at all. Not even an online chat! Another trick they use after u place an order, is to send u an (INSTANT) email to say ur order is being prepared, and you can not cancel it, even if you do it within one minute of placing ur order. BEWARE
UPDATE: - Back Market worked diligently to make good on my complaint and I am very satisfied - so much that I will attempt another purchase from them!

I've purchased many products from Back Market with very satisfactory results. However, the last three refurbished computers I've purchased have not lasted one year... (June 2022) A Dell laptop lasted 10 months before completely dying...(Feb 2022) A Dell desktop began locking up after a few months (when using multiple applications at one time), requiring a reboot to "reset the memory"... now it requires a reboot several times a day... (Feb 2024) an HP Desktop that shows various blue screens that require a restart...I've gotten four of them today...
Their support response has been good, but they offer nothing on the first two units as they are now out of warranty... and the recent HP purchase - they only offer to fix it if I return it to them. I have a work at home job and can't be without a computer, even if it keeps restarting... Three units in 2.5 years and none are working correctly - from three different sellers... A waste of my (senior on a fixed income) money.
Ordered a pixel 8. Was offered £77 for my pixel 5 trade in. Sent it in and got an offer of £2! What a f***in con😱

A faulty phone supplied, returned and then told it wasn't. They even faked a picture of it! Don't trust them, crooks and fraudsters.
Answer: Bought a refurbed iPhone 11 unlocked, as a Christmas gift. It arrived and I had it activated. I had no problem with the phone. I went to Simple Mobil, and got their 25.00 plan. The phone is in great condition, works great, and I am happy with Back Market.
