Despite the friendly customer service when we first purchased the units, we have two units that are offline and we are continuing to pay for the monthly fee as AwareGPS service support has been unable to resolve or advise why our units are no longer working. The problem is they work when in our corporate office and stop working when we try to send them to our satellite office. They want us to return the units for $80- a piece and will refund the money to us once they handle on their end. What does that even mean? A company should know why their units are failing to respond and be active when in a different city / state. And they should be stopping service fees when it's clear their units are the issue. Too many other companies out there to work with - you should steer clear of this one in case you are that "one" that it happens to - like us. They won't even respond to us now!
I have had these gps devices for 3 months and they have had issues. I pay to have them installed, then pay to have them removed and installed again when the devices weren't working. Said I would be credited $40 for the inconvenience, even though it cost $125 service fee each time the mechanic had to remove and reinstall the trackers. Had to manually calculate mileage each day for 3 months. They gave a "sorry" to make up for that. Asked if I could get a refund and was told, no it's yours (even though it doesn't work) and all they could do was cancel the service. Oh and each time I had to send back the tracker I had to pay an $80 deposit per tracker! Then wait for them to reimburse me once they verified the gps wasn't damaged by me! Mind you the gps is only $40! Scam artists!
