Their customer service stinks! It's nearly impossible to actually talk or get emails answered in timely manner. Their technical support is even worse. They've been working on a simple problem that every other listing service has been down for over a week with no clue as to when it will be corrected.
If you need assistance during the weekends, you have absolutely no chance of reaching anyone.
Do yourself a favor and don't even consider Auctiva for anything but a broken down service charging for a service that can't, and won't, deliver.
Why would they do this? Now, I'm fighting to get my 9.95 back! I did cancel my PayPal! Good luck billing me again! Left several messages… *******190. Recordings then say you have to leave a message! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Very good tool for managing my ebay listings. Easy to use and allows Sellers to create listings in advance and schedule them at the optimal time. Customer support response time is excellent. I don't create / post that many listings, so I wish they had a cheaper monthly plan for fewer listings.
I use commerce, and you haven't updated it very well. It doesn't show on a phone device very well (I did enable mobile device mode) and you cannot obtain an annual sales report, only monthly. It would also be nice to have some new more vibrant themes available.
I have used Auctiva now for many years - would have to look to see how long it has been! Super site to keep photos for on-line selling, and when it sells, you can even arrange for insurance, especially for the international sales! My listings on eBay are enhanced by the rolling /scrollbar of my other items, so there is a chance that a customer might find another item to buy as well!
Have used Auctiva templates for listing items posted to eBay for many years. Always easy and friendly to use for listing. Only one drawback that may be Auctiva can get fixed to work properly and may be it is a problem eBay needs to work on fixing. After posting an item template to eBay they flag me that ""Item specifics"" are missing. I always fill out the Item Specific information when I am working on the template before submitting to eBay. Somewhere that information gets deleted and it is an inconvenience to have to get back into a posted eBay listing to again fill in missing ""Item Specifics"". Would love to get that problem corrected!
While the price has gone up over time, I still love having the rolling listing scroll bar to lead buyers to other listings and being able to use old listings as templates makes new (and relistings) so fast and easy! Even though I didn't list nearly as much this year, it was still worth it!
I've been a member for many years and I cannot imagine using another 3rd party management platform for my eBay listings. They've done a great job upgrading their customer service availability, as the live chat has been a valuable feature. I'm not happy that my subscription increased twice this year but what can you do. Oh, and I would love a Format Painter tool!\n\nBruce is the man, by the way!
I like using this sight, but since you changed the templates I have a hard time finding any of use to what I list, you removed all the pretty floral ones, femine ones, like for perfume, vintage vanity items, all the vintage looking ones are gone and for us that sell mainly vintage have no use for your more modern neo ones. Thank you
Detrimental to my business, very buggy, with customer service that is rude and doesn't even try to solve the issue. Way too expensive to hardly ever work
I like using Auctiva for my listings cause they stay organized just wish the plan cost would not have went up. Never had their service down very long to affect my listings.
You would think that after all these years in business they might be able to iron out some of the kinks?! Think again! You might think this Auctiva idea never left the family garage. Customer service is some of the worst I have ever encountered! They just made a big change with their templates which now only show 5 photos with nothing posted to let customers know that by clicking on one, there are many more. I already had an Ebay customer ask me why there were no photos of the watch movement. I had to cancel the listing along with 10 other listings. Auctiva has no doubt cost us a lot of money over the years with their incompetence!
I had used Auctiva for years. At first it seemed like an easy way to list on Ebay but as time went on it became less user friendly and the customer support became worse, unless you paid an additional fee to upgrade your plan).
The final straw for me was when they increased my plan fee by 50% but didn't email me or text me to inform me. They told me I should have searched for this info in a "messages" section on their website. Weirdly they did communicate promotional messages by email.
If you do decide to use them I would check all their small print and there seems to be a lot of it!
In my opinion, don't bother with Auctiva
This used to be a great company with a great support staff. After being a member for many years, I was notified, through an email, Auctiva offered a new service to list on Amazon. I signed up by clicking the Free Trial button on the Auctiva site. The listing service was terrible and very time consuming, nothing listed. I decided to cancel my "Free Trial". There is nowhere on the site to cancel, the site to email a cancellation request. The reply I got from a Support employee was, we are sorry and will put you on a free plan, but the Free Trial is only for non-members, even though there is no indication of this or warning on the Free Trial site. I was then charged my PayPal account $42 and basically said "Too Bad" to me. Since I am a book and antique dealer, I will be sure to tell anyone who will listen to avoid their scam and poor support.
Well pleased. Experienced an outage on Auctiva a short time ago and was obliged to use eBay listing protocol. Made me realize the rewards of Auctiva. Also appreciate the research backwards features and storage.
I've been using Auctiva since its beginning and have always been so impressed with their customer support team. Now it's terrible. After 24 hours I'm still waiting for a first response. They used be able to resolve any issue I had within a few hours. They also need to upgrade their servers. Image hosting is very slow now. I'm not sure I want to stay with them.
Auctiva is great as a picture hosting company, fee's are reasonable and its easy to navigate. However the insurance option for your shipped packages is horrible. Complicated and very difficult to file a claim. I highly recommend you do not use this option.
I have used Auctiva for listing my items that I sell on Ebay for over 10 years and think that it has many great features that enhance my listings. My only wish is that with an entry level subscription they would make their help line available... only available if you have a second or third tier subscription:-(
Auctiva is hardly reachable anymore, and their online help system is hardly responsive if not at all. Our company has an Elite unlimited listings package that we purchased through them, as a third party to Ebay, and YET STILL each and every listing is being charged an insertion fee. The issue is astronomical, and Ebay can not resolve, and are only directly our resolve to the actual third party that they simply allow to conduct services. However, it is appearing that their services are not only not working, but also after paying and waiting, can get no help from Auctiva. I have strong recommendations to not do business with this company, third party, until they respond. This is only one issues of many. Feel it is my responsibility to help others who are searching, and to share this experience. Rechelle
Easy to list, but need more templates similar to the older ones. I will be using this site again. Thanks.
