AT&T Reviews Summary

The reviews reflect a predominantly negative perception of the company's overall reputation and customer service. Customers frequently express frustration with long wait times, ineffective support, and unresolved billing issues, leading to a sense of distrust and dissatisfaction. Complaints about unauthorized charges and poor communication from representatives are common, suggesting systemic problems in service delivery. While there are occasional mentions of product reliability, the overwhelming sentiment indicates that customers feel neglected and undervalued. This pattern points to a pressing need for the company to improve its customer service protocols and enhance accountability to regain consumer trust.

So glad I got rid off them
September 23, 2020

Bad experience from start to finish. Service charges are uncompetitive compared to other carriers, bogus access charges, international data service is a total rip off (look at google Fi, for example), international roaming - be ware, if you are abroad and receive calls which you don't pick up- still charges appear, $3 per call, spam calls, anything. At the end, they charge you monthly for their services in advance, and if you disconnect them, you still need to pay in advance for the last month even if you don't use it. Otherwise late fees. Cannot dispute or argue anything, cannot contact them by email, must call, must speak to 5 service reps, because no one knows what's going on, must waste hours on the phone, ruin your day. Wish those clowns learn someday how to do business right, its competitive now, and not America of 70s.

Death Threat To Child
September 21, 2020

AT&T technician and Vice President Of Inglewood Chargers Youth Football Organization, Christopher William Parr, 1-31-1964 -*******447) retaliated against a mother on FB over a comment she "liked" about somebody named Brinona Taylor. In his own words as shown in the image he told her he searched her FB page and found her address on Google and threatened to shoot her "small child". When I confronted Christopher in FB messenger he went off on me in an angry hate filled, radical racist rant in which he wrongly assumed I was White, I'm not. He also went on to explain that he was avenging the death of Brionna Taylor and his cousin who had been shot by the police 12 times. I have images of the entire documented text exchanged saved. I have also sent this image of the death threat out to numerous media outlets in the Los Angeles area and have alerted all law enforcement, local, state, county, and federal. I can be contacted any day after 1:00 PM Eastern Time if you have any questions or need any additional information including images in Christopher William Parr's own words. Image of death threat and other photos for identification uploaded below.

Terrible conpany
September 21, 2020

I will never ever again give another dime to att. They are terrible and don't appreciate loyalty. They lie over charge and do not honor what other representatives have told you. It's so bad I think they are told to lie. And then act like you are lying when you tell them what was told to you. I would literally give them -5 starts if I could by far the worst company I've been dealt with

WORST SERVICE EVER
September 21, 2020

I have been trying to get my service fixed since May! I cannot have a bill sent to me without them charging me to send the bill even though I cannot log into my account because they cannot fix the glitch that has haunted my account since May. They charge me a late fee every month since the only way I can pay is to make an appointment at the store which since COVID has been a nightmare! The last appointment I made I sat out in my car for over an hour in a parking lot waiting for a new phone and to pay my bill. They say they will remove the fee on next month's bill and it never has happened not even once! I have been on hold this morning for over 4 hours (still on hold as I write this) and I have talked to 3 people 2 of which were in India and had no idea what they were even talking about or any knowledge of anything ATT. I have my account for over 30 years and I can honestly say it's time for a change! This is the worst service ever and I would never do business with them again our new company phones we bought through Verizon got that deal because of the way they have handled my account! #ATT #attsucks #badservice #customerservice #customerexperience

I tried to switch from ATT to Sprint because of reception issues. The move to Sprint was relatively easy. But ATT would not let go! They kept charging me. I have just made the 5th phone call in the last 2 months. Each time I have been assured that my lines were cancelled--but the bills kept coming. I tried to cancel my auto-payment but the bank urged me to try one more time. OK--after about 6 hours on the phone over the last 2 months, I am assured once again that the lines are cancelled. What I hope will be the final evil catch is that ATT cancelled my lines on the first day of monthly service and so charged me another $80 for absolutely nothing! The person on the phone did apologize. I know it's not her fault, but for at least 10 years I will have nothing to do with ATT.

Lie, cheat and steal is their strongest beliefs. The service is horrible and dead spots all over. I had metro and had far better service which is sad. If you want a reliable and affordable service, you can't beat t-mobile. Trust me made the mistake leaving them to find out I got ripped off by att. Thankfully t-mobile even has an awesome plan to bring you back to them.

September 3, 2020

My kids couldn't complete their school work because ATT cant get their internet straight. The person down the road has an ATT van outside his house and I have yet to see it move. By far the worst internet service I have ever had, maybe y'all should stick to selling phones. I've had this internet for goin on five years and haven't been satisfied yet. Idiots... Contact me because I think your customers need a couple free months or refunds. I'm ready to cancel my service. Thanks.

I would not recommend AT&T to my worst enemy. The lack of service and incompetency cost my company thousands of dollars when we were trying to establish our office in Houston. I am "stuck" using this poor service at my home too due to no other options. Two tin cans and a string is a better option. I have spent countless number of hours/days trying to get service installed and fighting billing errors. I wish I was being sarcastic regarding the amount of time and loss of productivity this company has caused me, but I'm not.

I switched from Spectrum to AT&T ONLY b/c I wanted an Apple watch and Spectrum isn't set up to support smart watches yet. BIG MISTAKE. For the 2 months I was with AT&T I had more dropped and garbled calls than I EVER had since using cellular service. I't was like being back in the 90's and living in the country with no cell towers. So I called AT&T and they wanted to check my cell phone for issues. REALLY? I'm not tech savvy but I know that when you don't get coverage that you had before AND you have turned your phone off and rebooted there really shouldn't be a problem. AT&T boasts that they have the BEST coverage but they don't. I wish I had read some of the reviews online. So far I've not seen the first review that is positive. Not surprised though.

I was promised an install date of 8/29. AT&T's order processing team held up our order because they forgot to ask about moving our mobile service with our internet - which is clearly bundled and obviously would be moved along with internet service. We set this appointment up on Monday, 8/24. Today, 8/28, we received an email stating they would have to move our install date because of this error. I asked to be connected to a manager who then argued with us, yelled at us, and interrupted constantly. Cynthia, supervisor in Order Processing, argued that they had emailed us an hour after the initial conversation, however, we have no such email or record thereof. Better yet, no representative is able to resolve this issue. We set up an appointment for the 29th because we both work and cannot take off Monday to be available for a four-hour install window. Now they are telling us the 31st is the soonest available date, but both my wife and I require internet in the evening, or we will literally lose money. I'm ready to post a review on every possible site warning people of this complete lack of customer service. All we want is the install date we were promised. I cannot understand how we have to pay for an error AT&T's team made and why they waited until the day before the initial agreed upon install date to tell us there was an issue with the order. I have never experienced this lack of customer service with any provider or company in my life. DO NOT USE ATT if you can help it. Of course, being nearly a monopoly, much of us do not have a choice..

Our internet dips within the kilobit range when we were promised 50 mbps, if not more. Ping is so high that its on the seconds range, and speeds are never consistent. We pay $50 a month, but sometimes they throw in extra side fees for no reason! Forget customer service. What a shame.

This is garbage
August 24, 2020

I can't even watch YouTube, web browse or play online/multiplayer video games without that annoying loading circle spinning around for 10 minutes. We keep on calling and get put on hold. The good thing is I guess is that it works at night. But who want's to wait that long!? I recommend not getting unless u want to deal with bad customer service, holds that last 20 minutes, or a bunch of overcharges.

My name is Luz Mendoza I was with AT&T for 3 years it so happends I had to move to a new house. They would not allow me to transfer the service to my new house. I had to cancel the service and set up a new apt. I set up the apt for 8-13-20 window from 8am-6pm. Tech did not ring my door bell waited for him all day. I called AT&T they stated tech left a note on their system that he could not do the job because my vehicle was on his way. He could of nock or ring the door bell and asked me to move my vehicle. I have to work from home 8-14-20 this is the reason I set up my apt. I spoke to 5 diffrent managers for the inconvenience they said they could not send a tech today 8-14-20 to set up the internet. Well now because of AT&T not setting up the internet I got fire I'm jobless. They now that we are in a Pandemic they do not care and they have poor customer service. As well their agents working from home they have poor customer service they should listen to their recordings they have poor attitude they should be thankfull they have a job other people they wished they had a job in this pandemic. I give them Zero Stars.

I hate these people
August 10, 2020

We got snaked into a 2 year contract. They wouldn't let us out of it. So we set our calendar for exactly 2 years later. In the meantime we purchased a home. When we moved they came out to set up service and brought us new dvrs NEVER DID THEY TELL US THEY WERE INADVERTENTLY SIGNING US UP FOR ANOTHER 2 YEAR CONTRACT. We called to get out of it, and we had to pay $240 to get out of the stupid contract we never agreed to. I despise this company DO NOT USE THEM.
