I went in for an exam and xrays. I have no pain, just needed a checkup. The tech cut both corners of my mouth with the gadget for xrays. Then the dr tried telling me I need braces... I'm 61 years old! By the time I was finished they wanted to do over $1000 of unnecessary work! So disappointed
Made an emergency *******@10am. 3:30 appointment I arrived 5 mins late but my paperwork was filled out online 2 weeks ago. No one at front desk but sign reads "Please sign in we'll be with you shortly we're in a team huddle" Nothing to sign in on so I take a seat along with 4 other people that were already there. 25 mins later still no one at desk. Then a patient comes out the door with an employee behind him and calls another patient in. Still no one at desk. Hour later someone walks to desk oh it's the voice I heard on a personal phone call in the back. She greats a patient that just arrived and said I'll be right with you then walks away. At this point I got up and walked out the front door. So much for my loose tooth that's in horrible pain so bad that I can't eat or drink anything. This place is the worst I've ever been to in my life!
Went in for crown replacement. The temporary crown fell out minutes after leaving the place. They were charging me over 1600.00 and when I looked at the bill these were some of the extra unwanted charges:
Electric Toothbrush 135.00
Night Guard 400.00
Sensodyn toothpaste 28.00
Cancer screening 30.00
Mouthwash 28.00
You are blindly purchasing services and items you don't need or want.
I fell for the hygienist choice of words "deep cleaning" and was tricked into buying expensive mouthwash from them. I told them I just had my teeth cleaned a week ago but she said I need to "deep clean." Turns out, it's exactly the same cleaning I had already gotten a week ago and she even said it was easy. That's because I just had it cleaned by another dentist. They charged me 56.00 for the unneeded teeth cleaning. What a ripoff.
The staff was nice but I feel like they are having a contest of who can scam the patient the most into buying products.
Went in to establish a new dentist, first time with Medicare Advantage Dental, they recommended deep cleaning, bridge, crown, and partial. I agreed to cleaning and paid $1539.00 up front. Cleaning took 25 minutes. They billed Medicare Advantage and they denied not covered by my plan. Then they won't answer my calls. Aren't they supposed to tell me my insurance won't cover? I'm pissed.
Do not go to Aspen dental in Morris Illinois. They don't know how to make denture plates, I've had 2 teeth that fell out of my top plate already. I haven't even had him for a year. They don't give your money back if you're not satisfied. They make up an excuse that. The computer is being switched over and they'll have to do a lot of digging into it to find what date and how long you had. I never got my money back. I hate that place I hate that Hindu Dennis girl. She'll lie to you.
They have ruined my life do not under any circumstances go to Aspen Dental. I've called them and written reviews about how bad they are with no response. If you don't care about eating, then go to these people I've lost 26 pounds because of my dentures. I go through a tube of Poligrip a week that's six dollars a week and I've been doing that now ever since I went to them and that's been a year and a half. If you don't mind spending all your money on something, you don't get any satisfaction from then, definitely call Aspen Dental. I can't go through one meal without putting more adhesive on my dentures at least every other bite.
I went today (3/16/23) for cleaning by their periodontist. I had a lot of tarter build-up. He did an incredible job removing years of buildup. Although a little sore, I am insanely happy with the results.
I guess that's the problem with so many locations; you many not go to the site in your area because someone had a bad experience elsewhere. I think Fort Lauderdale is great.
My husband and I have been going to a local 1 man dentists for over 7 years to get checkups and cleaning w no problems. We moved to another state and decided to try Aspen dental. They wanted us to have a lot of unnecessary work done and what our insurance didn't cover / out of pocket was outrageously high when our dental insurance covers 100% of xrays, cleaning *twice a year and reg checkups. Had the same experience when we went to dental works year's ago (money grab)* employee turnover*. Those dental places have a very fast turnover w employees some fresh out of school and I feel they're only out for / in it for the $$$* bottom line. We'll be going back to a private smaller dental office w 1 or 2 dentist in the office, that's my recommendation ' stick w a smaller office of dentist. They care more about you not the big $.
Awful. Never address what I went in their for. Most interested in how they can spend all the money on my flex card. Even drained it all off my card. Now the insurance company is trying to get it back. Greed. Awful service.
If I could leave zero stars I would! These people are absolute scam artists! Constantly denied me the regular cleaning that my insurance actually covers, and kept telling me that I need a deep cleaning. Paid the extra out of pocket for a the deep cleaning in May 2023 and was told that an additional cavity removal needed and filling would be fully covered, all to be called in NOVEMBER 2023 and told that my insurance didn't cover it and 400$+ balance owed! Like what? How would you not know at the time that it wouldn't be covered? I'm now starting to doubt I even had a cavity because it was so strange that had gone 32 years with zero cavities ever. They seem to force services on you to make money. Do NOT go here!
At first I was impressed. I got 6 teeth extracted. The doctor was great and I had no problems
2 cleanings has to be done. First one side which was over 600 dollars and then the other side another 600 and some dollars. I got a toothbrush and toothpaste and mouthwash after the second one. The cleaning is not even as good as the one from a regular dental hygienist. Come to find out they put over 990 dollars on my care credit already in advance for something that hasn't even been done yet. Just unbelievable bad customer service. I hope someone will stop them doing what they are doing. Don't go there is my advice.
Charged for procedures that were not performed charged two times more than competitor price for extractions staff won't talk to you about anything if you don't tell them about charges for work not done they act oblivious to the fact very cold attitude by most staff to not a pleasant experience
Paid in advance for services that would not be completed for weeks. Over paid by almost 3 times. Months later still no refund just more run around and promises.
Emergency number took all weekend to get through and now no Emergency on call dr is getting back with me in alot of pain and not sure if it is infected not having a good experience with them at this point
This is basically a bait and switch operation. They use a cheap $19 introductory offer of dental check up and cleaning. Once they get you and then they work up a treatment plan that is way off the charts as far as cost goes and in many cases is not even necessary treatment. I wouldn't recommend going here at all. I went there and fortunately I smelled a rat and got out of there before they were able to get into me too far. I'm hopeful that the $19 is the only charge that I will Incur. They are initial treatment plan was $1700 which I think was completely over priced and I don't even think I needed that treatment done. Stay away from this place
I had an appointment with Aspen Dental today and I am throughly disgusted. My appointment was at 11:00 and at 12:15 I was still waiting to be called back. The waiting room had been cleared out as I watched the 3-4 people who were before me come and go. A man walked in about 12:00 and within 10 minute he was called back. I waited until about 12;15 and finally told the receptionist that I was not going to wait any longer, this was after I saw them coming in with Cracker Barrel sacks full of food. This is no way to run a business and I will not go back.
They would not give me a normal, only deep cleaning. Overcharged me, charged me on things they never did. Took me a long time to get most of my money back. The little girl who did my deep cleaning, i was agony the whole time, one wonder if she had practice on her dog. Good luck, not to be cheated.
This will be the first bad review i have ever written. I do not believe in writing bad reviews but have made an exception for this comapany. Went for dental pain. They lied about a filling on a tooth that was not done. They worked on the wrong tooth taking off a perfectly good cap and repacing it with another. Claiming their was debris that got under the cap and caused my pain. Instead. By working on the wrong tooth they caused me a severe infection which resulted in them prescribing a heavy dose of penicillin three times a day. I have health issues and because of their doing the wrong thing I was sick for over a week. My advice is to stay away from their overpriced and only money matters company policy. Spoke to a regional manager and he was not of any help sticking with the company line. They caused me nothing but harm, mental and financial. Stay Away from Aspen Dental.
Avoid. The negative reviews are true. Those poor patients...
Bad equipment, corporate environment, patients presented with one cost then billed another. Seeing all of this from the inside was extremely disheartening. The regional manager was there for his bonus. Avoid corporate dental institutions at all costs!

I never got to see anyone because they say I have not paid my monthly payment- $30. My phone internet acting up and so my result was a $157.70 pay to see the dentist. I just paid the $30 on Saturday. Usually they wants to see patients and for some reason they can't see what I see- could that be there issue because not all are the same plan? My wife has a different plan that I do. I have been paying faithfully and now just frustrated out of my mind to waste a day off work to have this BS. I am being extremely nice to say 1 star. Could they have gave me any info early so I could show them I have paid faithfully? There billing group need a lot of work. I do not even want to go to that dentist office. Terrible. Im an unhappy customer.
Answer: The dentist seem to be legit. The billing structure & pricing our very much a rip off
Answer: $250.00 per tooth competitor is $ 99.00 the range is dependent on difficulty of work being done
Answer: Very lengthy wait. Expect to be hung up on.From the local office to the helpline and up to corporate they are difficult to reach and rude to deal with.
Answer: When I was a full time RVer, Aspen seemed to make good sense.
